The hardest part was that in addition to much of what's in the OP applying to me as well, I REALLY liked many of my compatriots. Most of them were genuinely good people. I still miss some of them.
I think it is laudable to appreciate the human virtues found in the Scientology experience. From the goals for improvement, exercising innate mental abilities to the comrades.
But to carry into the future the bubble of bullshit Hubbard contributed or to misidentify it and thus concatenate it with any hope of benefit would be a very sad reason to flip-flop.
For those in need perhaps cognitive behavior therapy may aid in preventing such recidivistic nostalgia or longings.
PS I have no idea why Emma has written her wonderful post and put it on a natter blog. Or is it going to be renamed the insightful rearviews mirror?
