If I am just a teenager looking for attention, then I came to the right place, eh? You all have so many questions--too many for me to answer here. Maybe you should go back to the Church to find the answers.

"There is a condition worse than blindness, and that is, seeing something that isn't there."

Christians have Churches, Muslims have Mosques, Jews have Synagogues,
Hindus (and Jews) have Temples. You don't call it the "Scientology Mosque" or the "Scientology Synagogue" nor "Scientology Temple". Exactly how is your "church" connected to Christianity? Where is Christ in your "church"?

You have a very limited view of what a church is.

Confirmed.

This guy is a Troll. I'd bet real money he has never even been in an org.

Hey, Ron. If you're not in a cult, there's plenty out there to choose from! Scientology is for the more effluent dupe, but there are bargain priced alternatives!

Ask NonScio why his view is so limited. How would I know?

[church]
–noun
1. a building for public Christian worship.
2. public worship of god or a religious service in such a building: to attend church regularly.
3. ( sometimes initial capital letter ) the whole body of Christian believers; Christendom.
4. ( sometimes initial capital letter ) any division of this body professing the same creed and acknowledging the same ecclesiastical authority; a Christian denomination: the Methodist Church.
5. that part of the whole Christian body, or of a particular denomination, belonging to the same city, country, nation, etc.
6. a body of Christians worshipping in a particular building or constituting one congregation: She is a member of this church.
7. ecclesiastical organization, power, and affairs, as distinguished from the state: separation of church and state; The missionary went wherever the church sent him.
8. the clergy and religious officials of a Christian denomination.
9. the Christian faith: a return of intellectuals to the church.
10. ( initial capital letter ) the Christian Church before the Reformation.
11. ( initial capital letter ) the Roman Catholic Church.
12. the clerical profession or calling: After much study and contemplation, he was prepared to enter the church.

Somehow I find the "Church of Scientology" as surreal as the "Church
of Satan". "Church", by historic and common usage implies
Christianity. It implies acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as the
founder; as "source".
The Satanist, it seems, would find more actual connection than "Scientology"
to Christianity, albeit as the "adversary", as the "Anti Christ", as the
"Anti Church". Is Scientology an anti church? What exactly is your
"church's" relationship to Jesus Christ?
I have read that Hubbard stated in OT whatever that Christ was a
"pedophile"...whats your position on that? Do YOU think Christ was
a pedophile? Are you permitted to not believe it if Hubbard said it was so?

That's nice. I see you got the definition from http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/church and conveniently stopped at number 12. Numbers 13 and 14 are interesting too.

13. a place of public worship of a non-Christian religion.
14. any non-Christian religious society, organization, or congregation: the Jewish church.

So calling it the Church of Scientology isn't all that unusual, is it? Your selective copy/paste job fails.

This looks fun

All I see is a lot of weak-willed whiners here who don't want to fix their lives. It's easier to cry and complain that shit's not going their way than do the hard work to unfuck their lives.

As far as the Church "failing miserably," you must be joking. This whole board is full of fail while Scientology continues to grow and get stronger every day. It's great to be a Scientologist. Y'all are a bunch of losers.

Hey Ron, if you're so happy being a Scientologist, what are you doing here amongst all us DBs and SPs, risking enturbulation and damage to your case? Why aren't you at the org getting auditing or doing a course, or better yet, seeing the Reg to secure your next level? How can you justify "chasing butterflies" when your eternity is at stake? If it's great to be a Scientologist, shouldn't you be signing your billion year Sea Org contract?? Maybe you can go work with Miscavige and see if the rumors that he beats people are true. Get busy, man!
Let us know how that goes.
