Re: Jaden and Willow Smith, or Friedrich Nietzche?

From that article, by the commenter:

The thing I have learned about sufficiently high-level philosophy and physics in my comparatively brief time on the Earth is that, at a certain point, they are completely indistinguishable from things that people tell you when high.

I've always had a fondness for "weird."

Obviously, they're pampered, but - in the long run, with a little luck - they'll turn out alright.

And some of the things they say - for their age - are interesting.

Here's a couple of kids, a little younger, a lot simpler, but, IMO, they're OK also.

"The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life" and ancient texts; things that can't be pre-dated.

The Flower of Life geometry is directly connected to the church of scientology. You will probably find the connection if you search for it. The ancient secret of- by Drunvalo Malkezedeck is fascinating and the meditation method is fascinating. It changed my life- alot. Osho tech, is probably also directly connected to the church.

This may go viral.

I certainly hope it does, if only for their true benefit.

No children of the prison planet Teegeeack (unless of course, they are held in an electronic mountain prison possibly in the Pyrenees) should have to have the havingness, the undergoingness, the sufferingness of what they are surenessly to beingness sufferingness if they persistingness on this pathlessness of beingness, thisnessness foolishnessnesses. And so forth.

:)

I hope they wake up.

I am withholding my breathinglessness on this issueness for the timebeingness.

It appears that poor Jaden has missed even the basics of Anatomy & Physiology. No baby ever grew in any stomach, nor is any live child "breathing through their stomach". WTF??

Perhaps long ago very small children - around ages 2 or 3 - might be told "a baby is growing in mommy's tummy". Nowadays parents are encouraged to impart accurate information to their children using correct anatomical terms.

If the quotes are indeed reflecting the knowledge of these two youngsters, this is just sad.

I wish them well. I think it's just their attempt to sound deep or profound.... On a different level from "normal" people or something. I'm sure their parents encourage this shit lol.

Yes, I think Jaden saying he reads about "Quantum Physics" is something he knows sounds smart but I would bet my entire bank account he hasn't the foggiest notion of even the remotest premises that underly it. Hell, I doubt he even understands the most basic principals of general physics. But saying he's studying physics isn't profound enough (and there's enough people that do understand physics that could easily call him out on his total ignorance). Quantum Physics is something that even college level physics students know not to try and make claims about. No one expects a 16 year old (non-mathematical prodigy) to grasp quantum theories, but just the fact he even would make such a claim shows the complete fantasy world the Smith kids live in.

Sound like any "Nuclear Physicists" we know? Jaden understands quantum mechanics like Hubbard understood nuclear physics, same underlying premises - if I try to sound profound people will believe I know what I"m talking about and be impressed.

Willow only reading the novels she writes? Oh my lord, the first rule of becoming a good writer is first you must be a great reader. Her "novels" must be sheer self-absorbed torture level reading at best. (Or they could be published and make a mint d/t the endless mocking and hysterics they would create.)

The Smiths are raising their kids as good scientologists - what's true for you. They have no concept of a real education or what that would entail - just whatever they want to make up or think sound good passes as "education" in their home. Clay Demos are probably considered graduate level work. Deep down they might be bright kids but without a real education and discipline it won't mean squat.

They are basically just living in a fantasy world and their biggest delusion is thinking they are smart or educated. It will be their downfall because no one will ever be able to teach them anything - because they already know it all. It will certainly be a hinderance to them if they try to do anything in life besides act or sing. (Which its doubtful they will, but I also think their parents and their own fame is coming to an end. They will probably just be wanna-be failed artists/musicians of former celebrities living on a trust fund in LA for the rest of their lives - if they are lucky. No one will ever take these kids seriously in any endeavor once the nepotistic advantage of their parent's fame fades away.

You can blame Will and Jada they are the real jack asses in this situation and their kids will pay the price for their utter stupidity.

14 and 16 year olds, they cannot be taken seriously, they are still immature. As I recall when I was that age I spouted all kinds of nonsense. Give then 10 or 20 years then, their opinions may be worth while paying attention to.

Well, sonny or girlie, you have done in two months what it took me five years to do. You youngsters are very precocious these days.

The girlie isn't so young anymore, that's all to it. The havingness of precociousness is something that comes with experience, one doesn't just "have it". :hissyfit: :screwy: It means hard work, :flowers: the willingness to cultivate your caffeine addiction fondly, :coffee: and the ambition to get an advantageous contract with OSA. :read: (And not that payment-per-post, or payment-per-derail fees - what am I, a pieceworker?!) The last time I engaged in serious cyberspacious non-MEST-natter I indeed needed orders of magnitudes of months longer to amass such a havingness of postings. "Oops..."

:duck:

Well, some days ago there has been one more of my 30+ birthdays, so I'm now going to empty that bottle of 2006's "you won't be able to pronounce it anyways, so just look it up" which I've opened some hours ago. :booze:

No one doubts immaturity plays a role and kids that age say stupid shit all the time, but there's a reason all the article are calling it bizarre (it is) and not just ignoring it as typical adolescent babble and nonsense. It's because of the insight they give into their lives, their delusional thinking and how superior they believe their total lack of a formal education is - that's what makes it all so concerning and troubling.

To me the most troubling part is the celebration of having no formal schooling of any kind, which explains:

Only read books I write myself
I read "ancient texts" that can't be pre-dated (WTF does that even mean. I wish he had been asked to give even one example of these supposed texts he reads)
Babies use prana energy and breath through their stomachs
Time doesn't exist, I can make it go fast or slow (wtf?)
"Wow I did so much for black girls and girls around the world" (In Willow's world Whip My Hair = Next Ghandi)
You don't learn anything in school obviously because people take driver's ed and car accidents still happen. (This from someone reading quantum physics and ancient texts? Really...just no.)

Most kids out there aren't the children of wealthy celebrities so saying how useless school is is terrible advice for kids, esp from Willow who believes she does so much for girls around the world.

Then I recall last year a big uproar over photos of Willow (at age 13 or 14) in bed with a boy (they were in skimpy clothes, but still clothed) who was 20 years old. They were supposedly dating, went on vacations together and this was perfectly fine with the Smith family. Another wtf moment. The family implied Willow was so mature she was capable of making such decisions. (Obviously Will and Jada Smith are even more deluded than their children. When I read that I could only think that the Smiths totally buy into the "old thetans in small bodies" bullshit.)

Willow might be reminded that right now, around the world, some girls her age are dying for the right to go to school

What they’ve found is… a new science? They talk a lot of science and, like, metaphysics. And something called Prana energy. Which is…how babies breathe?

Prana energy & prana yoga was developed out of an inspiration of former cult guru Baghwan Shree Rajneesh who died in 1990 & was renamed by his followers as Osho after he died. I spent several days in Rajneeshpuram (Oregon) during my college days attending their mass Kundalini Yoga sessions. It was alot of fun.

This was before some of their followers got the bright idea to draft a hit list of Oregon judges & officials to murder & sprinkling salmonella poisoning in the salad bars of several restaurants in a small town to make the point that they did not enjoy criticism of their guru.

-snip-

The Sanskrit term Prana, and Prana Yoga, are ancient; Prana is the Indian equivalent of the Chinese "Chi."

This is New Agey stuff (around long before Rajneesh). That these kids (and they are children, albeit indulged and spoiled children) are saying this stuff is reflective of what their parents are saying.

Their parents appear to be fringy New Agey pampered celebrities who dabble in Scientology when it suits their whim, and "mix practices" when that suits their whim.

As you know, the showbiz community is rife with New Agers with celebs seeking the latest guru. I wonder if Ashton Kutcher is still mixed up with Kabbalah?

I know a few people who were there in Oregon around the same time as you. They also ended up in Scientology.

Did you have a Sannyassin name?

I wasn't a devotee.. just visited Rajneeshpuram & patronized their disco & bakery in downtown Portland.

4 - Willow on Writing Her Own Novels
"There are no novels that I like to read so I write my own novels, and then I read them again, and it’s the best thing," Willow said.
<snip>

I wish that the interviewer asked her some follow up questions. On this particular one I'd of asked WHY it is that there are no novels that she likes to read (other than her own).

I like outside-the-box thinkers, and as others have commented - kids DO say stupid shit. But this particular comment about the novels I find particularly disturbing.
