Comment from Twin A:
I'd always wanted to do some kind of interview at the actual location. So this was fun. There are more videos, more of us had cameras. I didn't use mine, I was doing a lot of talking
I wanted to clarify something, just in case anyone doesn't get it from the video because I think it's an important point. At the INT base, there is this thing called "The Restricted List" and this is a list of staff members who are not allowed to leave the property. It's updated regularly. It is monitored by a group of people called the "Perimeter Counsel." Included in the Perimeter Counsel is someone from the Qual Division where staff counselling takes place and this person reports on anyone who has expressed doubts or thoughts of leaving in a confidential session. There are several things that get reported instantly that are revealed from confidential staff counselling sessions and that is thoughts of leaving & critical thoughts about David Miscavige.
The Restricted list is policed by the Gold Security guards. It means the person cannot leave to go anywhere without an authorized escort, or not at all, until they have gotten themselves off the list. In 1996, when I was being held against my will for years, I was on this "restricted list." It includes pretty much anyone who has expressed doubtful thoughts, thoughts of leaving, or who has been disciplined for some mistake at work and have been labelled a "liability" or worse and has to work their way back up through amends and capitulation to get back into good graces.
Other staff not on the restricted list can leave on their own as long as they have approval from their seniors, a signed consent that they have a valid reason to leave the property, a job trip or an approved request for liberties or to visit family. Some staff actually do get to visit their family and can afford to do so. Those people who have their freedom are usually the only ones who would be allowed to talk publicly about being on staff in the Sea Org! So in any debate about this subject, about whether staff are "being held against their will" realize that the argument isn't whether or not these staff are actually all being held prisoner or something, it's about whether they have the RIGHT to just walk out unharassed if they want to.
"Blowing" by the way is not a Scientology HIGH CRIME. Not returning within a reasonable amount of time to resolve things, is what is listed as the Scientology HIGH CRIME. So... when a Gold Security guard is preventing someone from blowing, they aren't enforcing any "religion", they are just being oppressive assholes.
I'd like to see a public statement(that is sincere and will be followed) from the head of Security Gold that says that they will no longer regulate (stop, question, ask for authorization, chase or pursue or tackle) any staff member who wants to walk out for ANY reason. Then I'd have some "closure" and would have "gotten over" that part of my Sea Org nightmare ----- when I know that it isn't ever going to happen to anyone else like it happened to me! And this would be one small step in the right direction.
P.S. it looks like they had removed the razor wire barriers on tops of the fences along the road side. I don't know when they did it, but it may have been a response to photos posted on the internet earlier about it!
