It was Hubbard who wrote about his desire to "dispose of, quietly, and without sorrow" those he viewed as unworthy.

How the fuck did we ever allow ourselves to participate and contribute to something

so amorally fascistic as Scientology
?

We were bright, good people, and some of us did some very dark things.

Thank you.

It's very disturbing to realize how easily we as humans can be subtly conditioned into willing collaboration & sociopathic fanaticism.

I have to admit--the thresholds of stupidity, naiveté and gullibility required to become a facilitator of "fair game" are astonishingly low when facilitated with jingoistic and mind-numbing indoctrination tools like "the greatest good".

Although I never participated in "fair game" or "black ops", I honestly can't say that I wouldn't have possibly done so if I had been called upon to "help" or "save" Scientology by some senior Scientologist that I respected. It makes me cringe to even consider it.

I'm so happy such an opportunity never appeared.

You're a good, decent person and that's just about the finest 'status' any person can aspire to achieve.

Scientology is the only hope for Man, on this planet.

This may be our last chance...

Don't blow it now.

Hubbard laid it right out there with the 1st Policy Letter on every checksheet, Keeping Scientology Working.

In the year since I first began posting here, there is one thought that repeats: What line would I have not crossed, in helping Ron save "the planet?"

I suspect there wasn't a line. I'm pretty sure there wasn't one. Hell, who am I kidding? There was NO line, period.

After all is said and done one simple truth remains:

Scientology produces fanatical adherents.

Scientology, and by that I mean Standard Scientology, as developed by L. Ron Hubbard... produces fanatical adherents and dangerous results

From Paulette Cooper to Lisa Mc Pherson to Mosey Rathbun to Leah Remini,

for half a Century, this organization has insinuated itself into public policy debates as a benevolent "religion"

while simultaneously harassing, spying, threatening, suing and intimidating any who would point out its dangers, failings, lies and hypocrisy.

Lisa McPherson, Ellie Perkins and a host of Narconon victims prove that it's not only the critics who experience the blow-back of Scientology.

When will America really LOOK at Scientology, and the corrosive effects of a fascistic cult operating unchecked in a free society?

We protect children from predators. We protect consumers from frauds.

We decry political fanaticism of the right and the left, but if you call yourself a 'religion', somehow you become immune from scrutiny?

Last time I checked, the people strapping on suicide vests, stoning women and hanging Gays were "religious"

They, too, are fanatical adherents.

Well, this has turned into quite the rant, for which I do apologize.

I really hope that Tony Ortega's book is published soon...

Righteous rant!

Once I realized that Scientology was a terror-money cult fanatically driven to achieve world domination under the insidiously cynical protection of religious rights, I "postulated" that one day Scientology would turn their lying terrorism against Scientologists and start destroying themselves from within.

Done!

I am greatly enjoying the cult's slow-motion autopsy and funeral. Big win! LOL

you knowingly lie to your family about your

activities in Scientology, in order to

get money to give to the registrar

before Thursday.

You think that the photos in those magazines you get in the mail, the photos of grand org opening, the photos that show zillions of balloons and confetti in the air around thousands and thousands of people crowded in the streets and sidewalks in the front and sides of the building really happened just like what you see in the photo.

Right. Or put another way, You are a deluded Scientologist if you do not know that Scientology uses

Photoshop to alter crowds to look larger than they really are.

on the internet is false.

You think Tom Cruise is the world's most dedicated Scientologist.

LOLOL
....and when you hear Tom Cruise talking at an event or on videotape about how he cannot go on vacation because "he knows", you think he is giving you a "briefing".

....and when Tom Cruise looks the camera straight in the eye without blinking, you think "wow, his TRs & Knowingness are amazing!"

....and when Tom Cruise says that Scientologists are the "only ones that can help" at the scene of a car accident, you think to yourself: "Gosh darn it, he's right!"

Then you max out your credit cards, triple-mortgage your home and borrow even more on personal credit lines and give it all to Scientology--and pretty soon you go bankrupt and lose your house and business. But you still "feel good about" Tom Cruise's inspirational briefing because it was the greatest good to go broke and homeless in order to prevent psychiatrists from appearing at the scene of car accidents.

you don't get that it's all an act.

a long con.

Scientology acts like a religion on Monday, then like the Mafia for the rest of the week.

The part that's not an act, is the harm caused by Hubbard's Monster.
