First;
There is no such thing, outside of the cult of Scientology, as the state of ‘clear’
The people attesting to this are merely re-programming their subconscious minds to believe whatever they associate with the state of ‘clear’.
The ‘clear cog’ is the idea that you are ‘mocking up your reactive mind’ according to Laffy. Well, sure. Your subconscious mind is truly like a computer. The images you hold in it, energized by strong desire, does indeed affect the state of your consciousness. It also affects the situations of your life in a way that seems ‘magical’ to most people.
It’s really just the natural effects of the wonderful computer that God has given you, which you associate with the term ‘mind’.
What is the first thing you tell yourself when you wake up in the morning? Notice that whatever that is effects your whole day. Once you realize this, you are on the road to understanding what some people call ‘bad luck’ or ‘good luck’
However, before you think you are the god of your own world like you’ve been lied to about, consider this;
The ‘demon’ theory of ‘OT’
The basic difference in this theory and the universal occult theories is the ‘source’ (good word, huh?) of the causation. In the vast majority of ‘modern’ magical theories, it’s all about you. If you can read someone’s mind, for instance, it’s your mental powers. If you predict something, you must have made it happen. If your ‘postulate’ ‘stuck’ It’s your horsepower making it happen, and no one else, and so on.
What if that’s wrong?
Over a century ago, trance channeling was very popular. It’s pretty well documented that highly placed people, like Abraham Lincoln’s wife, experimented in this fad. They were very impressed when trace channelers were able to access intimate details about their dead relatives. They assumed that the mediums must be actually ‘channeling’ the dead loved ones.
But what if that is a lie?
What if dead people don’t really stick around after dying, but demons do? A multi-dimensional being wouldn’t have too much trouble impersonating dead aunt Rose, if they had been around at the time, don’t you see? Of course the bereaved, like Mrs. Lincoln, would grasp at any spurious evidence that it really was their dead child, giving much credence to this sort of thing, because of their loss trauma.
Traditional ‘magicians’, using the old ‘gremoires’ were under no delusions concerning this stuff. They fully believed they were forcibly coercing demons to go out and serve their spells purposes. It’s only modern occultists like Laffy that decided it was all just them.
Notice that this was shortly before the Hubster decided everyone was overrun by unwanted beings who where gumming up the works.
Think about it.
