I just lost 20K in FSMCs. My favorite selectee just got her repayment from Flag!!!!
It's been a tough cycle. (Much harder then getting her to pay in the first place) But she got her check and now we can celebrate.

Well, Flag would pay 10% to the FSM if she had started the service. Instead she she got her money back. I couldn't be happier. I collected a lot of money through the years for people throwing their money away. Getting past that guilt has been part of my journey. The fact that I helped her get her money back instead of helping con her out of more, is just a giant step in my own recovery.
BTW, I wouldn't accept FSM commissions anymore anyway. Just saying what I would have collected if I was still "in".

Here is the perfect cycle;
First you reg the person for a LOT of money and collect a nice fat reg commission.
Then you arrange for a refund, so your client gets all their money back plus interest and they pay you a commission for helping!
And you don't pay back the reg commission.

I will be telling more of the story soon WO. Today I am just wiped out from the whole experience. As you know have been sitting on pins and needles since February, when I first signed on to this message board. I think I was just up to the early 80s in my story, I might have to fast forward to the parts that would expose me. We'll see.......just so very tired now.

You misunderstood. The repayment was for 200 thousand. My commission would have been 20 thousand! And they don't give commissions for money that wasn't used. It's all good.

No. They may give training awards in addition to FSMCs but not instead of. Per policy it's 10% for money used for auditing and 15% for money used for training. Sometimes there's a battle over who gets the commission. There are FSMs who meet people who have money on account and after having a conversation with them about the weather they send in a selection slip and collect the money. There have been lot's of handlings and solutions to various disputes over this. Following the actual policy would probably work, but I have only seen this happen when it is heavily monitored and enforced from both below and above. (I'm not kidding)
