Carmelo, don't forget to mention the e-book that will be coming out shortly. Also we are planning an audio book so that you can hear the best of the Apollo thread while you are driving your car, working out, jogging or walking. There is even a movie deal in the works. Moe from the 3 Stooges will play Lakey and Travolta is being looked at for playing Carmelo. Both Candy Swanson and Reece Witherspoon are audtioning for the role of Sweetness and Light, the thread hostess in our early days.
T-shirts and coffee mugs are also in the works!
We are kicking around a slogan, so far the best we have come up with is, "Today ESMB, tomorrow the Internet!" (based on the German slogan 1932-1945).
Of course the hits stat is the most important thing, how could anyone believe otherwise?! One reason why I am ignorant is that when I go to read a book, I simply check to see how many pages it has and then go online to see how many copies have been sold. That's all I need to know before I check off the book as having been read. Maybe, if I actually read the book I might not be so ignorant.
Here's a tip, if you are considering which car to buy, no need to waste time reading up on various models or even bother test driving them or talking to owners. The key is to look up the sales stats for each particular model you are interested in. Let the public do your research for you, obviously, the models which sell the best are the best cars, save time and let the public do your vetting for you.
Lakey
P.S. I am only going to mention stats one last time and that will be if we break one million. Before that and after that I won't ever mention them again. If we reach one million, I will mention that event and look forward to a new round of critical posts. Don't forget, since I am ignorant, the various negative critiques have no effect on me.
