Staff Status I, II

Thank you for the links!

Does anyone have a link to the Staff Status courses? or remember what they involved?

Staff Status 0 was short, basically a locational, where you would go find things in the org, like the comm system, and the org board, etc. I think you even went out to look at the front door.

SS I was just a general staff hat. Meant to be done while you were expediting. Completing cycles of action, basics of policy and ethics.

SS II was more policy basics, but covered such things as Dev-T, conditions assignments, etc.

SSII covers the Introduction to Ethics Book, as well as some of the policy letters from OEC Vol 0.

The Staff Statuses were an insult to anyone with a better than single-digit IQ. The front door, for Hubbard's sake? You need to study the way you got into the building? They should have done more fire drills so that people know the way to GET OUT.

I don't entirely agree. I've seen so many uneducated Scn'ists who had so little life experience. Remember, the cult has a habit of recruiting

A) Anyone they can get even if they've done hardly any courses

and

B) VERY young people in their teens and early twenties. The less educated, the less savvy, the better.

Also, speaking as a businesswoman in non Scn corporations, some of the people I've worked with- people who had supposedly good references from previous jobs- couldn't find their asses with both hands and a compass. So I have NO problem with SS0 and SSI being rather rudimentary.

Sure. It's the Golden Rule: when you've got the gold you make the rules.

Same reason DM can change the tech when he feels like it - he can shoot any dissenters.

SP Directives are David Miscavige's creation. When he thought that he could not get away with changing an HCOPL, he would have a SP Directive written.

In 1976, the first edition of the 'HCOPL Subject Index' was published. It was presented as a complete list of all HCOPLs, but omitted (without mention) confidential HCOPLs.

Scientology - at the top - does not operate on 'policy'. 'Policy' is for low level/mid level personnel, and their immediate seniors, only.

The model for the operation of Scientology is a blend of organized crime and intelligence agency. The "tight conspiracy" model, as Hubbard phrased it.

Senior to "remimeo" HCOPLs are "non-remimeo" (inside the Org only) HCOPLs, and senior to that are confidential HCOPLs, and senor to that are confidential writings that are signed with an LRH or an "R" or, if judged to be particularly scandalous, have no name at all.

Scientology has been this way since the 1960s, probably earlier.

The average Scientologist is supposed to be unaware of this system while, at the same time, submitting to it.

Miscavige inherited this system.

This is correct, but you may want to include OSA Network Orders as senior to all HCOPLs, confidential or not.
