What would be the youngest age of a person "overboarded"?


Hard to say for sure. I saw a teenager go over the side. No very young children though, I think the locals would have found that too over the top.As Hubbard himself said(unbeknownst to me at the time)" I think if you saw someone trying to kill a baby ,you'd try to stop them" Seems he thought of every thing.

Probably why they were put in the chainlocker, so no one out side of the Hubbard trance could see what was going on.

I was 11 when the MAA decided i needed to be "overboarded".

I think the abuses he commited do need to be pointed out again and again, and then some more.

This is necessary as an antidote to the whitewashed pr lies version of his life story emanating from the cofs

It is also a warning to those who may want to idolize this person, and a wake-up call to those who have dedicated their entire lives to his every word.

In the absence of any proper research or proof of dianetics or scn, belief in the "tech" is largely based on an unwarranted belief in and reverence for the fictional "lrh". And the cofs well knows this.

And whatever other facts there may be about him pale into insignificance in the face of these facts of cruelty and abuse.

He'd put up a good, smiling front for the world and lower ranks, then do such abuses and things behind closed doors.

Zander, I totally agree.

I'm sure Manson had his good points although I can't think of any offhand. I don't know if riding motorcycles qualifies as a good point or not. DaveyTheDwarf likes to go dirtbiking with his bff Tommy. Of course while he's busy having a good time there are people running around a palm tree in 110 degree temperatures at Int.

While elron was getting his suitcases full of money there were people living in a basement at PAC eating everyone else's leftovers and cleaning out shit holes...including the kids. I think that about sums up both men pretty much.

I would think "Oh my God, I must be going slightly Hubbard!"

(Although I doubt it. Hubbard used to think he was the least important man in the universe. At least he said so.)

Wisened One, So sorry. We all fell for it. He WAS a good con man after all. Too bad he had to be such a freaking sadistic, crazy con man. He couldn't just make a bundle and skip town like any self-respecting con man would do. No, HE had to build a cult to keep the con going ad nauseum. :no:
