Tasmanian this happened to me too. It was very subtle and I remember acting very much like you.

The phenomena didn't end until I found data in the tech. that filled in what was making me anxious.

What a terrible feeling... up til then I hadn't felt anything that disgusting, it like takes over your whole being.

Glad you found out about this or else I never would have known there was a psychological term for this abuse.

Well, 'Gaslighting' is certainly not unthinkable.. We ARE dealing with the Sinister Cult of Scientology..

They've done that a lot.. I recall Tory 'Magoo' being called up on the phone and having the OSA idiots whisper MU's, Overts and withholds.. Or something along those lines. She even had a sound recording webbed.

However.. Don't get scared of those flunks Tamasin! - That's what they want, so for that reason alone.. Give 'em the abominable finger and laugh!

You mentioned notes left in your driveway? - That's tangible evidence! And those notes tells you that you ain't seeing ghosts! - Referring to things you experienced?.. Soo.. That's to make you fearful of being watched... They possibly documents that you are indeed being watched.. Message might reveal method, who or when..

Hmm.. Amusingly the CoS itself has every indicator of beng 'Gaslighted' these days.. Note the way they draw curtains and make noise to awaid seeing or hearing the protestors. They can't know who's going to reveal something really bad next.. Who's going to blow tomorrow and be on the 9 o'clock news creating the final PR disaster?

Tamasin, your story could so easily have been mine as my family was due to go to the ship in 1968 and got diverted to Saint Hill. Your experiences touch me deeply, as they do anyone reading them, and that's why they want you quiet. And you haven't been, what a naughty SP you are! I know it's hard to trust, I have similar issues, and for good reason. Trust your instincts and watch actions rather than words. There's some good advice on this thread, and people who care.

Naturally, one common thread to this kind of game is 'gaslighting'; leaving the target unsure if he's been targetted at all and being so bizarre that even mentioning it sounds insane.


Electronic "Gaslighting" this just about sums it up.Although it is slightly different.
Whoever the person(s) are that are doing this, they are very clever because it is only visible to me. On a daily basis via the chat boards and other stuff on line.
It is subtle, and at first I dismissed it. Then I thought maybe I was going mad.But I don't believe in SO many coincidences.

This all started when I made a joke about OT powers on the XSO chat board. These persons would like me to believe that they have OT powers and can see and hear everything I say or do. Including what I am thinking.Bizarrely enough its not far wrong, but I still DO not believe in OT powers.

However I do believe that $cientology has the means and the power and the money to frighten people and I do believe they ($cientologists) will go out of their way to terrify people into keeping silent.They already did a good job of this on me as a young child.

Just in case I might think I am imagining it, they leave little messages in my driveway from time to time.Always subtle, but always referring to something that has happened in my life in the last day or so. It is not a coincidence. It is real.And Yes,I have only recently spoken properly to someone about it because it does sound insane.I am fully aware of just how insane it sounds.

When I tried to explain it to my husband of 27 years, he thought I was mad.We are no longer together because of this, it was the final straw.I only hope he sees that what i said isn't so insane after all, I know he's read the article in the Sun newspaper 1/11/08.

I have lived with this for about two years now, ever since I decided to find my Father and look into what happened to us back in the 60s.

Whilst going through this, writing my story, reliving my childhood nightmare speaking out about $cientology's abuses, one nightmare has been replaced with another. As far as I am concerned NOTHING has changed in $cientology, they are still as batshit crazy as they ever were, if not more so.L. Ron Hubbard may you rot in hell for ALL you and your god damned Sea Org have done to ruin the lives of so many people.

I am trying to think how to combat it mentally if you cannot physically right now.

One little thing/suggestion would be to request a new ESMB name/account from Emma, dont use this one anymore. You can start posting more freely as a newbie if that helps you without revealing too much to be namefagged.
Tell no one or a few you trust. This board has the ability to help and heal some...but not if you feel anything you say is being watched and thrown back at you.

Second, let emma know who is posting that you feel is playing mind tricks with you and possibly. Let her help....she wants to know about the ones that dont belong here.

I just thought of something.. If you suspect that your computer is compromized.. Go to a netcafé somewhere and use e-mail. You can get my e-mail by clicking the rotating @ on my website. Or ask someone for their e-mail in a PM.. That would be safe, since OSA can't know which netcafé, or other location, you will use it from.

Practical.. If this is indeed the problem.. Are there any computer whizzes close to you Tamasin? - For a thorough checkup on that machine for backdoors and sniffers... Even if none found, maybe just reinstall the intire Operating System from scratch.

Tam has had to put up with a hell of a lot recently. I've spoken to her at great lengths about what's happening to her, and I have no doubt that she's undergoing an extensive OSA op. She has told me about specific occurences that are too far out to be co-incidences. We're both sure she's being watched, and details of her life/events occuring in her day are being posted as a psych-out op. Remeber, the cult isn't always "sledgehammer to crack a nut". It can be subtle too.

And Tam, my offer still stands. If it ever gets too much, or something crazy happens, gimmie a call. If necissary, I'll be around ASAP.

Just want to add my support to you and what you are going through. I can not even begin to understand what it must have been like as a child. I'm so sorry about your marriage too.

Please remember that we are all here for you, and where ever you are there are exes who can help even if it's just a shoulder. Some of us have 'come out' and you can contact us. I don't know where you are, but please stay on the boards and hopefully you can draw strength from reading the posts.

I saw a little girl, maybe its so long ago, I don't know and it was a little boy with long hair but I saw a young child in the ships chain locker.
