RIP Peter Briggs/Ron Masters

Peter Briggs from Melbourne passed away on 7 July 2008 from cancer.
He is survived by wife Renee and daughter Jessica.
He was a dedicated scientologist and I remember him fondly for bringing laughter.

Ron Masters passed on 31st July (I think). He was an old time reg in Melbourne.

I would suggest that simple lack of attention to regular maintenance and check-ups could account for much of the early mortality in the $cio population. Tooth and gum problems, unattended, can cause big overall health problems; just by way of example. Many diseases are easily handled with proper medical care even though not necessarily "cured" - to have some "MLO" dealing with physical and health issues is so wrong as to be laughable.

I didn't think to say at the time, but I heard that Gladys Bowen, Adelaide public, mother of Keith, (also deceased - former FBO ANZO) mother-in-law of Lesley, and grandmother of Peter and David, died in late June/early July this year . RIP Gladys.

I think an RIP thread is a great idea.

New Zealand`s one and only OT 8 died at the end of October 2008.
He was plagued with health problems after he returned from the Feewinds
in about 1990. For the last five years he was bedridden and blind.

Denny actually got approval from LRH to publish a children`s book about
a character called Thetan in about 1980.
But then Ruth Minshal , the author of the books "miracles for breakfast",
"Ups and downs" and "How to chose your people", chose not to associate
with scientologists anymore.
Her books were removed from all orgs .

I think that doomed Denny`s book.
Great to hear you are finally out of Scientology Denny .

I remember Ron Masters. And his wife Dot. They were a couple of great old-timers. Both were up in Sydney in the mid-70's being audited by Noel O'Donnell.
I actually recall auditing Ron myself. Even remember one major incident he ran probably because he was able to do so so holographically. Just one really nice guy.
They were around in the early early days of the Melbourne Congress
