What's new

New since today

After reading quite a lot as guest, I am here too.
As I can see, most of you were once on staff or were there as child with their parents or even were born onto Scientology.
Right, or is my feeling wrong?

I was never on staff, I encountered Scientology as an adult, was helping for a while in an org -- resisting to become staff :D , made my observations and finally decided after ten long years to abandone the "club".

But this is a long story.

Let you know, that all I could read here is showing me, that my observations were correct and my decision the only possible consequence.

I will tell more about my way later. I am looking forward to tell you, how I experienced and how I saw the life of staff -- if ever you wish my opinions about

Love to you all, you are really courageous beeings (and please exclaim, when you can't understand my mediocre English :D )

Welcome ladybeetle!

:welcome:

Yes, there are many here who were staff and children of Scientologists, but also public and some who have never been in Scientology at all. It's a pretty diverse group with many different viewpoints, which we are free to speak of and discuss to our hearts content, unlike Scientologists.

Looking forward to hearing your story.

I have found that no matter what a persons involvement in Scientology is, this place is a good way to start your journey into the real world.

Former executives, former sea org, former staff, former public, people raised in Scientology, people never in Scientology, people still IN the Church of Scientology, people practicing Scientology outside the CoS, people who lost friends or family to Scientology, Anonymous protesters against Scientology...

:D Everyone is welcome to ESMB, we have all types.

Hi Ladybeetle, here, have a nice :rose:

Good to have you on the board. And your English is just fine particularly as I can feel your sincerity and honesty right in what you say and how you say it. I spread my involvement in the Hubbard mental diseases over some 35 years, so yes, recovery is possible for anyone.

Ignore me.

Hi ladybeetle,

Welcome.

I'm not an ExScientologist and don't really belong here, but they let me play in their sandbox.

I make mostly annoying, cocky postings that you may find offensive if you are still, in your mind a scientologist.

I'm just trying to shake the tree and see who gets the fact that LRH was a complete con man, that scientology is mostly a scam, and the tech is the most disgraceful abuse of the word "technology".

"made my observations and finally decided after ten long years to abandone the "club"." Some people, in fact many here have left the club, but still believe in scientology. Where do you stand?

Oh BTW, today with the help of DullOldFart, Ted and a few skeptics, we've proven that the e-meter is complete bullshit.

Enjoy:

Is scientology really is a scam? I would express this in other way:

Scientology ist very dangerous and explosive collection of several discoveries made by other scientists and philosophers. The most dangerous part of it is, that LRH had lots of talent to combine all these together with all his MUs to an entireness, so that quite a lot will think "yes, bingo, That's it!" And it takes lot of time to unscramble all this and find the own truth.

Where do I am now?
Well some parts are maybe in one way not unlike to Scientology. But I can't agree with Scientology at all. Not only because of the methods but also because of a huge amount of MUs, LRH himself had!
But more to this in my story.

@all

Thanks for your warm wellcome :)

Jesus, AO! Ted and I think the complete opposite. Don't you DARE lie about what I have said.

Paul

I'm not lying one bit. The meter behaves totally differently when the contact with the hands is better, specifically as tested underwater. That means that the "reads" you get with the normal use of the meter are FALSE. You are getting fooled by randomness and it's not the meter reading the body.

I'll carry on back in the e-meter thread.
