WTF!!!! Reading this thread is gonna give me nightmares. I had been on the Freewinds once and so know that I had possibly been exposed to blue esbestos. But Big Blue?!?! Most of my family has been been there, some of us spending a lot of time there. This is really fucked up. I hope someone can find out who the contracted company was that Scientology hired to take it away. I'm sure they would have information on what type of asbestos it was and how much of it was removed. I wonder if there is still asbestos there that wasn't removed? This is some serious shit!
Sent you a PM, but want all to know that the likehood of all asbestos removed is remote. On the other hand, it is renovations that kick up the dust. A lot of older buildings have asbestos.
It's important to note as well that asbestos has been found in other buildings, considering Scn originally bought up extensive older buildings and have "slave labor" staff illegally doing renovations. This was not just in Los Angeles area.
Maybe this is why Miscavige is so hell bent on buying up new buildings despite the fact of diminishing membership? oh my god. I never could make sense of it, and I hope I am not making sense now. omg
