Personally, I think the fastest, most effective and easiest way to "dead agent" anything these days is to call your opponent a Scientologist :D

Works on just about everybody that I know.

Don't tell the OSAbots tho':coolwink:

If someone refers to oneself as an "x-x," they have identified themselves as a Scientologist.

If someone, particularly in their opening post, states that
I know there are some here with [snip] criminal or hairy sex and drug backgrounds
they have identified themselves as a Scientologist. Seriously, who else talks that way?

And who else thinks that way? Who else thinks, "I don't need to deal with the substantive merits of your complaint and argument because I've determined you have a 'hairy sex and drug background,' and therefore you lose, and I win?"

Who else, when subject to criticism, has the immediate and Pavlovian response of assuming that one's opponent is a criminal or has a "hairy sex and drug background?" To essentially ask, what are your crimes? Jeesh, it is right out of the Scientology playbook that we not only know all too well, but used ourselves.

If someone concludes by saying
I think going to external authorities is a big mistake, take a good look at who you are dealing with, the world is a chaotic place.
then, yes, they have pretty much identified themself as a Scientologist.

The DSA?

You would think a long-term staff member would make sense when saying where he worked.

Paul

lol..... well, DSA is usually used for Department of Special Affairs but he probably means that he was the Director of Special Affairs and probably posted in OSA at a local or regional level.

Welcome X-X

Welcome X-X and thanks for voicing your opinions. Few comments ...
Reading over various posts I see people who agree with Scientology but not Management. I see others who are either no case gain, or failed purpose.
I say to you go forth, see the world then look as Scientology again.

So what you see on this board are just people who:
  1. Agree with Scientology but not management
  2. No case gain
  3. Failed purpose
That's all? Really?

What I do see on this forum are:
  1. People who graduated from Scientology
  2. People who struggle to take their life back after a Scientology experience
  3. People who found something better than Scientology
  4. People helping others recover from Co$ abuses
  5. Free people
  6. Free speech
  7. People reconnecting
  8. People telling their stories and getting acknowledged
  9. People enjoying reading stories
  10. Friendships
  11. and much more ... :happydance:

... I think going to external authorities is a big mistake, take a good look at who you are dealing with, the world is a chaotic place.

I worked for a few wog companies and in the Sea Org. Guess which one was:
  • Most chaotic
  • Less respectful of good manners
  • Less respectful of individual rights
  • Less respectful of personal desires
  • Worst paid
  • Less respectful of labour laws
  • With the highest amount of lies told by the management
  • Most threatening
  • The only one threatening people with thousands $$ bills shall they desire to leave
  • The only one demanding girls to abort a child or be fired
  • The only one that rules on people's behaviour and life out of workplace
    :omg:

I'm sorry, the wog environment I live in is much more sane and sincere than my nearest Scientology Ideal Organization. The wog justice system is much more sane than the Scientology justice system.

I have no problems with people claiming the Tech works and can help people, but overt products like Co$, the Sea Org, the mind-control-lying-management are hard to not-is once you are bold enough to look at them objectively.

Mostly Lurker, with an excellent post like that, it is apparent that you need to increase your Posting to Lurking ratio.

X-x

I know there are some here with little background in Scientology, and others even with criminal or hairy sex and drug backgrounds. Some may have been sent in to cause trouble. I think going to external authorities is a big mistake, take a good look at who you are dealing with, the world is a chaotic place..

>> I know there are some here with little background in Scientology.
To answer your statement; there is a thing called "research" , it involves reading books with knowledge about Hubbard's lack of scientific credentials.

>> Some may have been sent in to cause trouble
Like the OSA trolls, who try to "enturbulate" ESMB from time to time.

>> I think going to external authorities is a big mistake
Why do you hold this view/opinion ?
Holding members against their will, forced abortions, using public money for 'Church' buildings is NOT for the greatest good.
