Mr.Rathbun's video is a 16:9 picture being squeezed sideways into 4:3! - When the hell do people figure this out? - National televison do it wrong. YouTube, or the users, get it wrong all the time. There's still no button to push for correcting the aspect ratio!

As for good yearns with some relevance.. I just (re)read Robert A. Heinlein's 'Waldo & Magic Inc' - Very entertaining.. A world where 'spiritual' powers and magic are commonplace. Well, you know Heinlein.. It's going spectacularly haywire!

Marty gets religion

The trouble is that the evil priesthood acts out the ideas of the evil high priest, Hubbard. That's their source and they never left it. They just got more zealous.

Smilla always cuts to the chase! I think that sums it up beautifully. I actually did get what Marty was saying, but I had to watch the video twice to do so, and it was difficult.

Marty gets off on power, and he likes to tease his audience of true believers who likely hang on every word and morsel that slowly drips out.

This whole thread is destined to become a classic and must-read for people trying to sort out the evolution that Scn is going through. Marty is trying to be the new Martin Luther and by now, he likely thinks God is speaking through him and revealing things to him, with omens and allegory.

But the fact that LRH laid down the law with KSW means that someone trying to recapture TRUE Scientology without the high priesthood, will just re-create the whole damn mess with a new high priesthood, and that is what Marty hasn't realized.

Eventually he will (I think), and like someone else has already mentioned, he will probably be embarrassed by this video down the line.

We are given no idea where or when this OSA event took place but according to Marty, it did take place. For the benefit of whom, we are left to ponder.
