I told the org what I thought..sort of

The org called me and tried to get in comm with me. Asked me what was going on . So I told him that I just can't justify the cost. Simply not economically justifiable unless I had an extra $500,000. I assured him that when i did get the money i would do my bridge.

He told me about the basics and said i could at least do that. But I said if I don't get Total Freedom it just isn't worth it. And i just don't really want to spend all my nights and weekends reading books hoping that reading these books will then get me to work so hard that i can then make this $500,000 to "make it".

So when the prices come down to a level that the average guy can do the bridge i will do it, or if I hit the jackpot.

It was funny how he didn't try to keep me on the phone and how much less aggressive he was than I expected. He didn't try to get me to an "interview" and barely tried to handle me.

I wonder why? Is it new policy to act less aggressive? Is it pretend understanding? Is it real understanding? Are they getting a lot of people saying similar things to me? was he going into agreement with me?

Maybe it's just that this guy has made so many calls to people like you that he's in apathy over it. Hopefully he'll blow soon.

It sounds like you were nice. So he didn't need to be aggressive. I'm sure he's usually hung up on or talked down to or something not so pleasant.

Anyone who is good at sales develops an instinct early on as to whom to spend time with. Anyone who survives assumes a certain beingness, ceases to be too hungry for his own good, and develops an instinct for who has money, who does not, who is putting up a front that can be taken down, who is genuinely strong, who is controllable, who isn't, etc. The best presentation and objection handling skills will do nothing for you but waste time if you are not in front of a qualified buyer.

Moral of the story ... maybe this particular redge was burnt out, going thru the motions, and just about ready to blow, or maybe he was saavy enough to simply get onto his next fone call. It would have been interesting to get a recording of this. Personally, I never get any redge calls, if I did, I would record them, create mp3 files, and share them. That alone would be an excellent deterrent to these calls being made in the first place.

You brought out a perfectly valid and crucial point. Price of services should have remained at the rate they used to be in Saint Hill when LRH was there and even go lower as Scientology would have progressed.

I don't have the green volumes here but I think the Policy is called the price of services the reason of.

That's where LRH says that if a person can't afford the cost of auditing or courses money isn't the real why as the rate was lower than an average practician.

Intensives where 25 hours long meaning later on they 2X by cutting intensives in halftime: 12h30 and increased the prices on the top of it in the 80.

Suddenly the bridge was out of reach for who wasn't rich that were not supposed to be the best Scientologist there are according to Ron. The consequences were dreadfull as we all know.

A very compelling argument even if you're a true believer. Some theatans may want to skip one or two lifetimes of service for a "break". He might start thinking "this is a lot of hard work and it'll still be here next lifetime (+/- 1billion years), so"....

You may have put a lot of doubt into his head. At least I'm hoping.

He should be crammed within an inch of his life on "hard sell" for soft selling. This reg is LRH definition of reasonable suppressiveness. Treason condition for sure and if in the SO this he is RPF material.

Exactly. That's what I was thinking. His Seniors would do that if they know how he handled the call. Too namby-pamby, not dedicated-glare enough. :eyeroll:

I think the cult is in apathy. In the old days it was like talking to a robot that just kept saying the same thing and ignored everything you said. Now they just seem really sad and realize there's no way in hell you're going to do what they want. Pity :bigcry:

Good for you. You are very sane to say that. Now, if you meet some of the Clears, you will see the end product. The old time Clears were told they were not Clear and had to retread their bridge at their cost. I think this sent them spinning cuz I have not met one Clear I have been impressed with. :no:

The $500,000 to go up the Bridge is without donations! So, if you really go up, you will be expected to donate EVERYTHING you have. Cuz the staff and SO have nothing so it is easy for them to ASK.

The pricing of the Bridge is LRH Tech. How to make something "valuable". Make it REAL expensive and out of reach. Ask the staff where they are on the Bridge to Total Freedom and how long they have been there. The majority will not have done much at all, if any. They will tell you that it is their fault, they did not make it go right. The public just pick unless they are wealthy and those that go up typically stop coming around. It is quite the brilliant scam of the 21 st Century.:wacko:

Think about it. NO ONE can have it (not that there is anything to have cuz you just have to go the ORG and see the product. There is no bridge to total freedom.

You are better off reading Wayne Dwyer, Eckert Tolle, Napolean Hill etc. It is so much cheaper to get the same result and you won't have to wear the t-shirt "I joined a Cult, spent $500,000 and all I got was this T-shirt that says I am an OT.:goodposting:
