The poster, to whom the above was a response, was responding to an other who had mentioned the 'PDC' lectures.

I thought of those lectures, and Hubbard's discussion of beams came to mind. And, in deed, if anyone has ever stood on a balcony and stared at someone below, and had the person suddenly turn around and look up, having "felt" something coming from a particular direction, one can relate to the idea of "beams."
Expanding the topic of auditing animals to seemingly telepathic interaction with animals, a while ago I was observing a street fair from the third story of a building, and below me was a large dog on a leash with it's owner, surrounded by hundreds of people mulling about. I surveyed the area for a while, and no one was aware of me, yet, after focusing my attention - in a concentrated "beam" (a pressor beam to be exact) - towards the dog, whom I was above, the dog instantly looked up and directly at me.
If I had been a Scientologist, I would have regarded this an validation of the tech, a validation of LRH, and would have bristled in anger at any "wog" or "SP" that might have dared to "invalidate" it.
As it was, I noticed the occurrence, which was, apparently a relay of energy between me in my body to the the mind of and body of an animal, who was sensitive as animals sometimes are. Interesting phenomena, but not necessarily proof that "Scientology works."
One difficulty with the more PR conscious Scientologists, preoccupied as they are with presenting "acceptable truths" to the less than Scientologically enlightened humanoids, is that they're caught between (attempted) clever (PR) handlings of said humanoids and the deep conviction that their own survival and well being, and the survival and well being of "every man, woman, and child for the next endless trillions," depends on Scientology.
There's an element of s_t_e_s_s, and it pops out now and then.
