You Are Source

Ron was not Source - The Tech was not Source - You are Source
The Johnny Raff Chronicles Supplement
The Scientology Years

This is the title on one of my Chronicles, but I feel a duty to give a few excerpts as this Chronicle will not hit the air waves for some time.

I am VERY AWARE of the HORRORS of organizational Scientology.

I am VERY PAINFULLY aware of org insanities.

I am VERY AWARE of Ron’s shortcomings, his stupidity, insanity, ego and astounding ability to create crap and misery for others under the guise of assisting them along a "bridge to total freedom" that instead lead them into total misery.

I am VERY AWARE of the insanity of setting himself up, and allowing others to set him up as Source, not source of the subjects he developed, but source, period. I AM VERY AWARE OF HIM LIVING, BUT NOT SAYING, the old Catholic insanity that asserted “I am the Lord Thy God and Thou Shall Have No Gods Before Me”

I am VERY AWARE of the misery, and I could go on for MANY MANY MANY Chronicles detailing the times of pain and misery so intense it defies the power of works to describe.

:coolwink: But in an attempt to lighten up that pain and suffering, I have often said to others, “I tried misery and I didn’t like it, so I gave it up.” God how I wish that were true. How I wish I had, and everybody had totally given it up. For the pain, and the tears and the anger, and the frustration, knock at the door of my consciousness every moment of every day. Every day, the old visions of horror invite me to focus my attention on the old insanities, and the pain and suffering of so many beautiful people. But I seek to say, “I hear you. I hear your invitation to bask in the misery. And I hear your invitation to tell others of the misery so they will not fall into the insidious trap of seeking treasure where there is only trash, or even worse, where there is good stuff that leads you unexpectedly into the trash when you were told you would get free.

Every minute of every day, my mind invites me to focus on the crap, but when I do, I just feel pain, and that pain alloys my ability to make people smile. So I tend to say to the invitations to jump back into the shit, “Thanks. It’s an enticing invitation, and yes, it may have some value, but no thanks.”

And God please don’t think I am trying to teach you that this is the right way to do things, because I am not. I am not signing the opening song of my Ego Wars film script, (to the old tune of “My Dog’s Better Than Your Dog”), that asserts that, “My truths better than your truth. My truths better than yours. You had better take my truth, or I’ll be no friend of yours.”

My truth is not better that your truth, My truth is just my truth. (and I’m not saying that that truth is better than yours.)

I started writing this because of a personal message from a beautiful being I know on the ESMB site as Gottabrain. It’s a great name for her in my opinion, because she certainly has a brain, and a LOT more than that.

In a response to my Birthday announcement, (Post # 10) she originated the following:

“Hi Johnny!!

Its already the 4th here in Australia, so I'll have to wish you a Happy Birthday again tomorrow!

But I have a request, Johnny...

I know you like to make people feel good and there are a few stories you can tell on here that would make every single person here feel good.

So if you haven't finished writing the next Chronicle, can you please tell one of the stories of one of the times you blew things up over there at the C of S? I remember a half dozen just from AOLA - GOD we were laughing over there in Treasury seeing the C/O and Enid Byrne getting all red-faced or pale when you disrupted the order and control. Mike Silverman adored you, though... and for those moments when you did that, we felt free to be ourselves, and not the slave laborers of a controlling, abusive organization.

Because you shook that place up more times than I can count, better than any Anon I know. You never agreed to the controls and rules and for that, you are a hero and I thank you.”

In response to her request, I submitted a fun story about the difference between REALLY KNOWIN & ONLY BELIVIN. (Post # 67)

I replied:

OK OK OK

But you have to send me a private message telling me who you are, a brief history of you in Scientology, and a phone number where I can reach you. I spent three and a half years in Perth, and I loved it. Wait until you hear the Aussie stories, when I get that far in my Chronicles.

I've had less than a couple of hours sleep and I have to be out by 10AM, but your post is so delightful, I'll tell you a story:

This is true.

I have always LOVED the beauty of the speech of some of the heartwarming black people, and the pure love they permeated into the atmosphere.

It pissed me off when Disney had to remove the movie :Song of the South", because some people felt the black people were being degraded by old accents, mannerisms and the voice of Uncle Remus. It is such a shame to see that kind of loving, beautiful speech become so socially unacceptable.

Well, I may get into some shit telling this (although I keep trying to learn not to postulate that) but here goes.

I was riding out in the country way beyond Magic Mountain one Sunday and I went by this typical white country church, and out of it was coming the most incredible music. So I made a sharp U-Turn, parked the car, and went up into the church.

"Come on in Brother!, a big black man said welcoming me into the church and family, even though I was the only white guy there.

Some moments later I was in pure delight - singing with the choir and the congregation about the glories of life and the Lord.

Then this big preacher gets up in front of the congregation and says in that wonderful - powerful - Black Uncle Remus kind of voice -

"Ta Day. I'eees goina tell ya the DIFFERENCE between really knowin and only believin."

(Pardon me if I don't get the spelling correct. I'm a lousy speller, and I really don't know how to do justice with the accents. It works much better with me telling it live, so come and visit so I can. Anyway to continue.)

"Sister Sarah", he says. I wants ya to comes up here with your thirteen chillen"

And the gal comes up with thirteen kids, two in her arms, and every other size you can imagine.

Then he says,

"Brother Joe, I wants ya to comes up here too." That's her husband.

Then the preacher address the congregation.

"Now you all see sister Sarah here with her thirteen chillen?" he asks

"Amen, Yeah!! We sees her!", the congregation replies in an acknowledgment that puts white congregations to shame.

"Now sister Sarah here, she really KNOWS that thems her chillen!!!

"But Brother Joe here, he only believes!!!
"

Then I went to respond to her personal message, and that prompted me to write this. (Yet another of The Magic Thetan’s unendurably long posts.)

In her post she said:

The thing is, the Scientology you remember (60's) is not the Scientology most of us know or the Scientology used by the Church of Scientology since that time. So its a bit of a dirty word to most of us and brings back horrible memories of being abused by the church. Those practicing Scientology in the free way that you do call themselves "Free Zoners". So if you can refer to it as "60's Scientology" or something like that and try to give yourself personal credit for the things that are your own and if you can make a definite statement about being against the abuses of the Church of Scientology and not being part of it, you would not be getting any bullets at all.

In her PM just before that she said:

“I was a nanny and saw horrendous conditions there for the children, which I still speak out against.”

That one really got to me, for it triggered all the misery I had gone through with my wife on that subject, and all I had done to try and assist her, and myself, out of the anger and upsets those kinds of memories restimulated.

So In my reply to Gottabrain, I said, “My beloved wife Carolyn was in the Child Care Unit and she would go into tears and anger and horrible mis-emotion regarding the insanity, deplorable conditions and abuse. It was horrible, and I would shake with anger, but do all I could to get us back into a feel good condition for I could see no good in basking in the horror of it.

I so validate you for your courage in getting out and telling the story".

I am VERY AWARE that when I tell of some of my OT and life wins it restimulates the intense pain of not having achieved all the things we were promised we would achieve, and all the things we so wanted to achieve, I feel that pain too, for much of what I wanted to achieve I still have not. Yet, I have been blessed with an almost unending stream of miracles and OT experiences, but I am not really OT. I have the experiences, yes, but I do not have the ability to consciously create and experience at will many of these things. Some I can do, but many I cannot. My carpet still will not fly when I tell it to, and even more importantly, the magnitude of love and joy I desire for myself and others does not appear when “The Magic Thetan” tells it to appear.

I would like it if these Chronicles got to be a best selling book that would benefit people and enable them to wave a magic want that makes life better. I would like, and am working on, a Discovery Channel or HBO television series that would dramatize these stories and inspire people. I want this not because I want the joy of being a success (although my ego would like that.) I want this because it gets the story out, the whole story, the good, the bad and the ugly of it. Yet I want this to be something that uplifts people when the tragedy parts are over. I want them to be something that makes them smile, something that makes them feel good, something that offers them a workable way to transform their lives into everything they want them to be. That is what I want for me and for everyone

So in conclusion, let me end this supplementary Chronicle where I started.

I am VERY AWARE that YOU ARE SOURCE, not Ron, not the tech, and not any tech that ever has or ever will exist anywhere.

You are SOURCE, and I am source.

Ant that’s my truth, whether you choose to harmonize with it or not.

:rose:So what do you say we source the life we want for us, and then set up some deliciously, enticing and entertaining invitations for everyone do the same.

Love,

The Magic Thetan

Magic and Magic

Blue in your post above which I highlighted in Blue, which Johnny are you refering to, the guy in the video or our own Magic Johnny? How about your pants, anything happening there? I don't know about sending that particular leggy er I mean lady to see Johnny but a boy's night out at a strip club might be a more doable option.

What can I say, I studied with Mozart's Dad when I was a teen and with Wolfgang the last 4 years of his short life when I was in my late 20"s.

Here is an example of an aria I composed for the Opera, "The Stone of Wisdom", which premiered in September of 1790.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVSNek0LbWw

The German transaltion is "The Philosopher's Stone. See, 220 years ago, I was already into studying Philosophy. Leopold Mozart taught me composition in Salzburg. I can't compose at all in this life but I guess I retained good musical sesniblities and taste and a fantastic memory. Just name any of hundreds of selections, classical or popular and I can start singing the melody and words.

The Philosopher's Stone is a prequel to Mozart's great opera The Magic Flute which premiered exactly one year later. The libretto (story line and lyrics of both were written by Emmanuel Shickaneder, our impressariio and both operas had the same story line. The cast of singers (I was the basso) the orchestra and even the conductor, Henneberg were identical for both operas. I believe ther were a total of 5 or 7 operas all based on the same book. These types of musical fairy tale operettas were very popular in Vienna from about 1786 to 1791. Shikaneder and Mozart were both deeply involved in the Masonic Lodges of Vienna and yes, they got me invovled in it as well. The Philosopher's Stone and its sequel, the Magic Flute have deep Masonic influences. Both were good operas and sound quite similar. The Philosopher's Stone did well, made money and ran 22 years on and off in Vienna and was put on in some other German cities but the Magic Flute went on to be one of the 10 top operas of all time.

Same script writer, similar stories, same singers, same orchestra, same conductor, in fact same everything except for just one difference. The one difference was that the music for the "Stone" was written by Shikaneder, me , my tenor friend Schacht and the conductor Henneberg. Mozart even helped us out and wrote 2 of the arias for us as a kind of guest secret composer but for the Magic Flute he wrote the entire score.

The one indiffernce is an intangible which is called "genius". Mozart had it, while ou fine group of composeres were merely talented. In fine music, genius will always rise to the top over a period of time. I heard it state, "Talent does what it can, genius does what it must!"

Lakey

I was referring to Magic Johnny.

Think big and deliver the real woman. Remember what Ron said about

accepting shoddy substitutes.

Yes, Mozart was a Magical being. I'll see if I can track him down.

You were not so bad yourself.

Count me in. Your post was beautiful!

John - Beautiful post, beautifully stated, an economy of words such that every word counted. Part of your narrarative reminded me of the opening of the movie Elmer Gantry where Burt Lancaster, kicked out of the last town he was in was travelling on the train tracks in open fields in the South and he he took refuge in a Black Church where he heard Gospel was being sung and there was a preacher much as the one you described. With the Magic technology of the internet, your words above are brought to life in the video below!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMXR2wBcLIM

A comment on Uncle Remus and the Disney Feature Movie, "Song of the South" which came out in 1948 when I was 8 and I saw it two or three times in 1948 alone.

Sure Uncle Remus talked with an Ebonics accent but so what, so the fucking what? Uncle Remus was BY FAR the wisest man in the movie and the highest toned.

Uncle Remus was at "Spirit of Play" the way he conducted his life. Being a black man in the old South he was denied formal schooling but his wisdom put to shame any of the white people in the movie. The wealthy family who owned the plantation which the movie was filmed on were constantly awash in problems with interpersonal relationships between the parents and their children and the husband and wife between themselves.

On the sly, out of sight of others, the husband and then the wife would seek out Uncle Remus and in private meetings to which no one was privy, they would ask this great man his opinion of how to solve their problems and Uncle Remus spoke from his heart with astonishing clarity and wisdom and told them common sense solutions which changed their lives. To unusual problems of theirs, he applied the usual, common sense and the wisdom of folklore and the land.

Their children could not relate to their parents or their white nannies and tutors and when they were on the verge of tears they would run out and find Uncle Remus and he would console them as no other person on Earth could.

I was always color blind when it came to race but this movie had a profound effect on me. I saw the goodness and decency and the wisdom and common sense of Uncle Remus and without knowing it, I decided that I wanted to be like him. He was my role model and I could not have chosen a better one. Lakey is Uncle Remus revisiited! Damn it Johnny, pass me that friggin box of Kleenex again, I love Uncle Remus, I have always tried to be like him and these clowns say that is a racist movie.

Then, several years later, these fools, mainly inspired by the NAACP and other such groups conducted a campaign stating that Walt Disney's Uncle Remus tales were racist and had to be removed from circulation. WHAT A TERRIBLE DESECRATION OF MY ROLE MODEL! WHAT POMPOUS OVERBEARING UNINFORMED PEOPLE WERE ON THE PANEL WHICH STOPPED CIRCULATION OF UNCLE REMUS' CHARACTER BECAUSE HE SPOKE A BIT IN EBONICS?

Here below, is what was pulled out of circulation for being racist. I think pulling that away from all children, especially white children may be worse than the things which Hubbard did!!

I mentioned you to Johnny (T.M.T.) on the phone a short time ago, and he picked up on your space/beingness and said as soon as we straighten out our respective finances, he'd like us have lunch with you in New Zealand. I seconded the motion.

Now THIS is something to look forward to with great anticipation! ! ! ! !

I am having a huge amount of difficulty getting onto the board. It took an hour and a half of trying before I got in to make the above post, then It was all blocked again for another hour or so and I'm placing this one here. I don't know if the board is just too busy and overloaded or if there is something else wrong. I can get into any other website I want, just not onto ESMB.

For a long time I have been objecting to the dianetic principle of existence: Survive! I object because it is not the be-all, end-all stable datum for me and, apparently, many of my pc/clients. Survive! is a fine principle for a plant or animal body or organization. I assert that this kind of survival just motivates me only so far then it fails. At a very young age I looked at others working their butts off at a job they did not like, to buy a car, to get to the work they hated. Something about that just rubs me the wrong way.

There is another motivating force that is something else, not grounded in materialism. I have no word to describe it, perhaps, because no word can describe something so grounded in spirit. But it is easy for a spiritual being to discern. It comes to us as fantastic and even subtle moments of enlightenment. It is with us when we are on a right path, as Joseph Campbell would say, following one's bliss.

What is the other motivating force? It is spirit itself. It appears anywhere and everywhere. In sessions it has come to me as that sense that one's spiritual toilet has been flushed of ego, survival concerns, ill-will, and materialism. That flush brings about a genuine, persistent floating needle, an actual new realization about life, not just a reordering of priorities and perceptions (like a pretended "cog" to call off the process), and unmistakable good indicators, the type that attracts hap and spiritual teammates on similar paths.

From <http://montalk.net/matrix/157/spiritless-humans>:

Consequences of Lacking a Spirit

With the preceding in mind [text of article], consider what happens when someone has body, ego, and soul, but lacks spirit. First and foremost, their entire makeup would be the result of material influences like genetics and environment. The seat of their apparent intelligence would be the ego. And without the counterweight of spirit, their ego would reign king. Thus, in accordance with the function of ego, such people would be completely dedicated to material and social survival.

[Completely dedicated to "Survival!," as implied in DMSMH]

Notice that people with spirit who are awake to their spiritual impulses often make willful choices that serve no financial, social, or egotistic gains, that go against the expectations of Darwinian evolutionary principles, and that serve only spiritual ends. [Did hubbard or his church ever make a choice that served no financial, social, or egotistical gain? Probably not.] Such impulses are absent in spiritless people, thus they are truly optimized for survival in the physical world. Without conscience, empathy, or inner battle between ego and spirit holding them back, they can more quickly and easily succeed in their worldly environments regardless of the cost to others. [Here is a partial description of classic narcissism, very much hubbard.]

I found the hubbard books interesting enough even when I had my doubts. This is what got me started in my dianetic/scientology adventure -- reading, searching. The books, however, were not enough to hold me there. It was not enough to draw me into a church. I did not like churches.

Once I set foot in the door, the courses were not enough to captivate me. I had other plans for my life. I connected to the people, and not any people, but to specific ones. To this day, we are connected, by something intangible. Though we may not correspond in the physical world, we are nevertheless in a timeless correspondence of sorts.

What is that intangible yet very real something? It is spirit.

In History of Man LRH talks about Mest-beings and Theta-beings. I always assumed that this is exactly what he was talking about.

The Dalai Lama Says...

Dalai Lama: "If we can relate to others on the basis of equanimity, our compassion will not depend on the fact that so and so is my husband, my wife, my relative, my friend. Rather, a feeling of closeness toward all others can be developed based on the simple recognition that, just like myself, all wish to be happy and to avoid suffering. In other words, we will start to relate to others on the basis of their sentient nature."

I think I am pretty much there. :D Although, on occasion some discourteous or overbearing asshole will tick me off to the point where I want to hunt them down to remove them from the gene pool.

You don't think I might need some more good auditing, do you?

Ted's recent series of posts bring out great replies....

Very very nice series of posts, Ted and great interchange of replies. I was looking at attributes of spiritual beings and came up with the follwoing traits - Spiritual beings deal in the following:

THINGS SPIRITUAL BEINGS DO
Creation
Aethethics
Creation by themselves
Creation in partnership with others, i.e. co-creation (Children. families, groups)
Basking in great creation by others i.e. hearing music reading books and looking at art work, sculpture, plays, movies, etc.

None of the above has much to do with basic survival except for children and the family unit.

HOW SPIRITUAL BEINGS INTERACT WITH OTHERS

Pretty much as the Dalai Lama recommends in Ted's quote
There is Granting of Beingness
Extremely High Affinity
A sense of Kinship
A desire for interchange and duplication

AN INATE FEELING THAT SURVIVAL, WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING AND THE THINGS WE ARE REALLY SEEKING COME FROM INTERCHANGE WITH OTHERS.

It is funny, each spiritual being "knows" (whether this is true or not I can't say) that they do not have ALL the answers. Nevertheless we are compelled to engage in discourse with other like beings who we also perceive as not having ALL the answers.

THE BOOTSTRAP EFFECT
Spiritual beings seems to perceive that through interchange between two or more beings who do not have ALL the answers, each being can nevertheless pull the other being up by their bootsraps so to speak.

WHAT HUBBARD DID WHICH IS VALUABLE AND GOOD Freud may have conceived the concept but Hubbard developed it much more thoroughly than Freud and gave formalized procedures to something that prior to him had not any real form to it. I am talking here of counseling sessions between two spiritual beings or in group counseling, groups of spiritual beings.

The apparency is that spiritual beings contain the answer to their questions within themselves but to get those answers to surface, a spiritual being needs to engage in counseling with another spiritual being where one being gets the other to rediscover what he already knows but can no longer contact.

As Ted and all his responders have stated, Survival only applies to one side of a being's make up, the MEST side. I have made a stab to delineate the THETA side with my comments above.
