Yes, she is a great Being! Of course, I've noticed.
Thanks for the critiques Roger. I was really looking for something on getting wiser as one gets older but the two things which you pointed our, one about Candy's beingness and the other About Orson Welles offending his colleagues both hit home!
The thing with Candy simply illustrates a problem I have wrestled with my entire life, having to do with women. If the body attraction isn't there, I just cannot look at the woman, no matter how great her beingness is, as a potential 2D. I consider this a major character flaw - reminding me of that movie a few years ago, "Shallow Hal"
I met Candy last December through Blue Spirit. She was auditing him and I told him that I needed to find someone to fill in the first part of the CCLA story as to who was there and how things were on their opening day. He put Candy in touch with me and she emailed me on Dec. 21, 2009. On the 22nd, she gave me the inside dope on the CCLA Org Origins, when they opened and who was there and what a typical day was like. We started emailing daily and lo and behold, on the 31st, New Year's Eve, she emailed me asking me my birthdate and told me to call her. I was a bit nervous but immediately called her and she invited me to a New Year's eve party she was going to. We even talked about the possibility of having a 2D over the phone. I picked her up at her house and we drove to the Party. Johnny Rafenello was there amongst the small gathering of about 14 people and that was my first meeting with him as well.
After about one hour at the party, it became apparent that Candy and I were not suitable for being a 2D. I did, however, reach strongly for her as a friend. She did respond to my reach as a friend and we started doing a lot of things together as friends and this lasted up until June and then died out, mainly due to her being very busy and moving around a lot. I got back with her at her request around July and escorted her to a play where Karen Black was performing. She wanted to get back in with Karen for business reasons and wanted a male escort to take her to see Karen and I was the man. About 6 weeks passed and we had no contact and then I had occasion to initiate something that involved her. I am not at liberty to disclose what I did but it worked out very well for her and when you take that plus helping her reconnect with Karen Black, I guess I became a permanent and respected friend.
On our long phone call of nearly an hour, the night when I heard the channeling, I mentioned that around June or July I thought our friendship was dead and she assured me, "Oh, no Gary, you are a good friend, one of my closer friends!" Hearing that from Candy, a surge of elation and joy tore through my psyche. It was not her body which caused that reaction but was her incredible beingness! I know she is a special being with great beingness and achieving friendship with her means so much to me.
On Orson Wells, Roger, I know what you say is true. For his blockbuster movie, Citizen Kane, Wells was fought and blocked by the Hollywood establishment and had to make the movie as an independent producers, using much of his own funding.
ON MAKING FRIENDS WITH THE FINEST PEOPLE: It was Yvonne Jentzsch who told us CC staff members on several occasions to aim high and seek to be friends mainly with people higher than you on the tone scale. To me this would include not just social tone but awareness, intelligence, charisma and other such qualities.
It was Carmelo, who mentioned on this thread to me, back around October when we first started our dialogues, "Why waste your time playing in the minor leagues? Why not play in the major leagues? My beloved Mom, Alice, was just the opposite to Yvonne and Carmelo. Her mantra was, "Speak softly and carry a small stick." She preached, don't aim high or take chances but just grind out a comfortable middle class income, do all the things which you are supposed to do, have a family and enjoy modest success playing a small game, i.e. getting a good job and saving a lot of your money.
She and I were both shy, timid and cautious. That's the way I was raised and is how I lived my younger years. My Dad was much more outgoing but even he, didn't like to gamble and take major chances. They grew up during the Great Depression and had this cautious trait about them.
I knew I had something different about me, a really outstanding memory and a different set of life values than most other people. Whenever I did make a speech or write something major, I was always able to cause a fairly good ripple and get a reaction out of people. This was the guy who timidly registered on ESMB about February 11, 2009.
My friends at CCLA were all rank and file lower level or mid level staff and public. To get out of that strata, my only means was my interest in classical music. I approached Susan Todhunter, a sort of elite level young woman, and because we both loved Mozart and opera, I was able to create a lasting friendship with her. I made friends with my auditor Sue who after auditing me for 300 hours, got to know that I had something worthwhile in my noodle. Heber Jentzch got to know me when he was Guardian for finance and worked with me when I was holding down Treasury Secretary.
Those 3 friends, Susan the singer, Sue the auditor and Heber were my only 3 major league contacts at CCLA and of the three, Susan the singer is the only one I ever saw socially. All my other friends were behind the scenes guys, working in mimeo or addresso or in HCO or Div II, holding down admin posts. Actually, most of these people were completely phenomenal beings in their own rights but they were not major league names.
HERE ON ESMB, MY WHOLE LIFE HAS EXPANDED - I COMMUNICATE WITH MAJOR LEAGUE PLAYERS A LOT! In the last week Candy, Johnny and Joan have all originated calls to me. I have had lengthy discourses with Ken Urquhart on Facebook and have had several phone conversations with Carmelo and minor discourse with Diana, Class VIII.
I now also have Edey and a whole new non Scientology oriented circle of friends through all of her connections at Ginger's Gardens and the Unity Universalist Church. I still have significant discourse with my ex wife and have met her new boyfriend twice in my house and had conversations with him. Then I have communication with my two kids and my business picked up a little and I have two new jobs and am working again with my homeowners and my old sub contractor friends.
THERE IS A LOT OF RANDOMITY THERE, A LOT OF IRONS IN THE FIRE!
It seems to me that to have continuous excitement in your life, you have to have a lot of irons in the fire and you have to continuously create all the various aspects of your life. I am just sitting here in awe at how my life has changed. Nearly 71 now, when most men are playing golf or going up to Vegas on a bus full of old people on a junket or playing BINGO or playing bridge in a Senior Citizens' club house, I seem to be just starting out several new careers in the Major Leagues of life, having finally graduated from the Minor Leagues this year after a 69 year career of playing there.

OK, which part?
You trying to get me to bail you out of your faux pas with Candy?
Not me Mate![]()
I just went onto Candy's FB page and looked at her pictures, and what I saw is a gorgeous Being . . . there is real life there! Enormous presence and love of and for the game and the relationships and parts in it.
Yes, and a good looking body too . . . . . but did you not notice the Being? The emanation about her that imbues everything about her with prosperity?
And the pics were a good trip down memory lane . . . even though I've not met Candy in the flesh . . . there were familiar scenes/people there.
On Orson Wells . . . I'd say the man was a bit of a "maniac," irresponsible, and probably a little hard to get along with so, after an early success or two (I loved his "Othello") no one would work with him or back him.
It is likely that he was so full of himself that he offended those he needed to work with, as in getting financial backing for his proposed creations, to succeed.
