What's new

I have a new opinion about Freezoners

No doubt this will polarize ESMB and I'll be struck from the Christmas card lists of the few FZers who "like" me, but at this point in time I couldn't care less.

I have a new opinion of FreeZoners. This is based on years of observation, interaction and one or two recent incidents that have pushed me over the edge.
And here it is.....

If you have the left the official church of Scientology, have had a chance to read all the information about Hubbard, the formation of the tech, the abuses, the history, the lies and betrayals Scientology delivers AND you have flittered around the FZ, had a chance to experience Scientology tech "outside" the official church and interacted with the key people in the Freezone and seen how these people behave and how the insanity perpetuates, and you still consider yourself a Scientologist THEN YOU ARE FUCKING STUPID.

There is no other explanation.

You are just fucking stupid.

Edit:

Clarification

I am referring to the active FZers who are Rons Org members, Pierre's group, Terrils yahoo group etc. I am NOT referring to the likes of Mike Goldstein, Roger, Paul etc who do their own thing and do great stuff.

Just tell us how you really feel Emma. You're always holding back.

I was hopefully giving an amusing slant on a real HCOPL,
And only slightly paraphrasing.

From HCOPL 23 dec 1965 RB SUPPRESSIVE ACTS

" Developing and/or using squirrel processes and checksheets."

And so on.

The bit about the REALLY high crime of denting COS finances I do claim complete responsibility for. That isn't mentioned in this bulletin but like a ghost hovers around it.

I have trouble knowing when you're being amusing, when you are might be trolling, and when you are being *straight*.
I have seen you quote Ron Hubbard as a way offering a few *wise* words which you apparently expect people here to use as a way to work through their thinking processes to achieve understanding.

I think you put a good roads and fair weather agenda ahead of honesty, and when that is combined with what I said in the first paragraph all that is left is a sort of incomprehension. I think this is partly deliberate confusion that you create. Of course you might very well be so flexible that you genuinely do maintain ARC with virtually everybody --I think I have seen you say something to that effect, but how flexible can someone be before they look like a simpleton????? The *tech* is the way out of that small problem. Blame it on Ron and what Ron said about ARC and dealing with people. Problem solved. Change nothing. Full steam ahead.

I think your opinion (and formed attitude) about Terril is erroneous.

I think he has his honest view which he honestly shares with us.

Stupid? well...yeah...

Emma, Same conclusion, and I keep a firm arms length from FZ socially. The bullshit has to be called at some point, and you called it. Clear and OT are pipe dreams of a con man, but some will continue to dabble in it until they croak. It took me 5 years to get to this point of agreeing with your assessment. Thanks for ESMB. It helped!

Sounds like a good move to define the nature of this forum more clearly. Some people belong here, some don't. The name of the forum ought to make it clear who it's for - EX scientologists. Now it does. "Freezone scientologists" are still scientologists -they are not EX scientologists.

I can understand why Freezoners would like to post here. It's busy. Most everybody here has contact with Scientology in common. hanging around with people who hold the opposite perspective to yours can be very educational. And this place doesn't try to get the Freezoners "back with the program" like Freezone hang-outs do. So they can be more themselves. They don't have to hide that their perspectives are changing. Of course Freezoners will run into lots of "get off the program already", but that can be healthy. They ARE still on the program. And there are lots of really funny people here. What's not to like about this place?

As to their not being ex's, so what? Terrils list says it's for people interested in standard tech. It looks like just about half or more couldn't give a shit about standard tech, as there is no such thing. But you have to make the room big enough for everybody, or you get into rigid rules, and TSA screenings of potential members. ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE REALLY AN EX???? PROVE IT. SAY SOMETHING BAD ABOUT HUBBARD, AND IT BETTER BE SCATHING!!!!!

It's good the way it is.

Emma,

Personally I am glad there is no longer a Freezone "Success Stories" here on ESMB.I don't know your reasons for changing your mind, but whatever they are, it is your decision.

For me, it is like a kick in the head to all those that have suffered abuse by Scientology. Every time I saw that freezone sub section come up, it was like raising a red cape to a bull. And yes, you can call it "bullbaiting".It is bullbaiting and Scientologists are good at it.

The promotion of LRHs tech and LRH Is still promoting Scientology, It is still promoting LRH. LRH was a monster, he may have been a charming and charismatic monster, but he was a monster and a savagely brutal one at that.

David Miscavige has copied that.

You can seperate bits out and say well, this bit was good and helped me, the bit that was good was you helping yourself.

Some of the neighbors of the Yorkshire Ripper, here in England, said, "he was such a quiet, nice man". But, he brutally and savagely murdered many women.
So, we pick out the "he was such a quiet, nice man" and run with that.

It's a bit like LRH in the shrinking world of L. Ron Hubbard, where he says " a suppressive is one who denies the rights of others, oh I think that if someone was going to murder a baby, we should deny him the right to do that".

What is he saying there? That all suppressives are baby murderers? Through his writings he incited others to use this same technique when handling critics.

He declared some of his best friends. He mentally manipulated those closest to him.

There are those that think the Freezone is harmless, I disagree, I think it is a sub cult of the main cult, just wrapped up in a different wrapper. I'd go as far to say it is a front group, maybe not for David Miscavige but definitely for L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology.

BTW, I don't hate scientologists, but I do hate what scientology has done to them.I hate any group/cult/organization that can ride roughshod over peoples lives and decimate them without any conscience.

How to Spot a cult

Thank You Emma, for allowing me to air my views, even if they differ from your own.

So on a scale that goes from "Fucking stpid" at one end to "Bat-shit crazy" at the other, could/would somebody please put me out of my suffering state of Doubt and tell me where /what I am?

No-where? :D

The what question I'll leave to another . . . :duh:

Terril,
I'm so happy you joined this thread! :happydance::happydance::happydance:

You DO have balls. :thumbsup:

It is really telling something.

I personally don't believe that Scn makes people more able.
But I DO believe that one with guts will stay strong no matter how much shit he was told about.

I like you, Terril. You are not just some "FreeZoner" to me. You have strong personality.

And THAT's what counts.

Reminded me of:

You are right, VaD . . .

Terril has a good heart. He really cares about people and sincerely is into helping folks . . . . just that on occasion it feels like talking to a mobius-loop trying to exchange ideas with him. :D :melodramatic:

Bringing this down to a specific :An example would be ?

Having or expressing a coherent thought would not be one of them.

if one dabbles in enough cults and/or subcultures, especially ones that are associated with licensed physicians, ivory league students--graduates, emeritus/emeritas--paramilitary, martial arts-like, or descended from the u.s. military remote viewing protocols (i surmise all the cutting edge crap is related to a black budget directly/indirectly), one would have to know that there's weird shit goin' on that can't be main stream science yet since the duplication is there for some but the theory isn't (i found math cults through computer hacker and code maker/breaker types too, so maybe the theory is already extent just not official). merely having the time--i.e. brains and/or money--to explore these weird issues; plust at least an equivalent of a junior-college education should confirm that scientology isn't all crap; that it's the mismanagement that stopped the cult from maturing. Mainstream science every once in a blue moon confirms bits and pieces of hubbard's hit & miss tech (e.g. IQ can be raised, parts of the brain that at least correlate with the neuro-processing of touch are involved with learning at all times, a detoxed body...)...and as far as there being semblances of LRH tech in aristotle's works and others before LRH it seems that lrh could have stolen from other conjecture-like works to some degree but he definately figured out and/or confirmed great stuff almost from scratch--figured out superior stuff that could extend and/or surpass similar data found in older philosophies--though he tried to interpret/translate some of his discoveries from electronics-like phenomena into knowledge of therapeutic processes and failed despite the process still 'being' valid just not understood 'fully'
This is pretty much the way I see it too and now it is a matter of finding the useful parts and trashing the rest.
The problem with the CoS is that this culling is not allowed and Hubbard can be blamed for that for claiming that he was far superior to anyone else and that no "ordinary" person has any buisness messing with his tech. (I have risen above the bank :brow: lol.) (Fuck you, Ron.)
Well, Hubbard's contributions are another part of this ongoing develoment and will be sorted out just like the ones before him whether the CoS or Hubbard like it or not.

Another problem is that of the false claims. Hubbard wanted so much to be able to beat the system of the life/death cycle as it is in place now. He failed to beat that system yet claimed that he had.

Freezone scientology is ok in my book as long as people don't expect to make it to the "other side of the bridge" with it. It ain't gonna happen. I just hate to see people duped like that.
However, if people go into it for some gains on the grades or something like that then why not?

I don't know what's going on over there now and I don't really care but I can't help but notice that Hubbard's psychosis pervades the "Church" of Scientology and still contaminates the Freezone to a degree.

Who needs that crap?

Hate to break it to y'all, but there is no "tech" except the systematic training of people to hypnotize themselves and others without knowing that they are doing it. A Ponzi scheme of mental slavery.
If you are brainwashed would you know it?
