I have a new opinion about Freezoners

If newbies want Freezone auditing they can go to a FZ site.

It's Emma's board. I was a tiny bit surprised that there ever was the success stories sub forum. I figured it was really nice of her, though. And there's still an FZ section and she's not banned FZers from posting here.

But even if she did? It's her board.

I point out an alternative site and I thought I was being extremely helpful in assisting you to clear a word...
Geez, sometimes I don't know why I bother.

Now, on the other hand, you telling me that I don't know what newbies think, seemed a little personal to me.

The idea was great but I have to admit I didn't study every single name that was added to RightOn's list, once too many indies and Freezoners were added as (IMO) they were not exes at all, but a splinter group of the original, with all the same beliefs.

I agree 100 per cent about the value of the list, and the other WWP wikis, and the need to have them spread around and saved. There are free wiki sites - wikidot is my favorite - andf free blog sites such as WordPress which do not have the same profile but do not depend on WWP and its mods.

I find it difficult to believe that anyone responsible for a forum like WWP can lose the entire content of a wiki because they do not have effective back-ups. So the hard discs crashed. What does a portable hard disc cost these days? My hard disc crashed earlier this year. I didn't lose anything.

The problems with the WWP Wiki were not due to any attack from outside.

...I think it is wrong to call these people "fucking stupid". One does not call and addict or an alcoholic "fucking stupid" as they are "sick", not "stupid". Some addicts are very sick; not "very stupid". Some addicts are very, very sick and will die before they change. This sad lot is not "very, very stupid", although on the urface it may appear to be so based on their behaviours.

A fair share of addicts are very intelligent and learned; they just succumb to being overly sensitive and Godless and get caught up in a dwindling spiral of ever increasing sickness. The same, imho, is true for dedicated scientologists in the FZ and elsewhere, including within the cult itself. They are sick to the degree of their individual levels of delusion, indoctrination and programming disallows them to see the truth of what they believe, just as is the degree of an addict's sickness that drives them to use drugs and substances, people, etc. and commit the atrocious acts that they do. :confused2:

It's your board Emma, you can do whatever you want and get away with it. I can understand your level of annoyance and frustration but I think you are being somewhat mean by calling these remaining lost, sad, delusional souls "fucking stupid". For the most part most of them are above average intelligence. They are just lost is all, to whatever degree that they are. :confused2:

Who knows... maybe calling them all fucking stupid might snap a few of them out of it all. I doubt it. :confused2:
 
Perhaps, in time, even the perceived need of a freeze-zone [freezone] board section will be dispensed with. As pointed out they have their own sites for that sort of participation, if wanted.

Personally, I don't see their interests and motivations particularly aligning well at all with that of truly ex-scientologists and ESMB, even with those newly out.

I, for one, would not miss the presence of that board section in the slightest. Supporting the freeze-zone mentality as some sort of gradient decultification step as some have suggested sounds hokey to me. Not unlike heroin>to>methadone addiction treatment, where the "cure" is in many ways worse than the original addiction. But, then, I'm also of the opinion that habitual dependence on any technology, real or imagined, is probably tainted with a [relative] degree of addiction. Interwebs, indoor plumbing, toilet paper, central heat and air, and such conveniences excluded, of course. :eyeroll:

Very good point since we exes were ALL like them once.
Although I have referred to myself as fucking stupid on many occasions since leaving - AND I really think I was.
I still am at times but I'm just not so gullible.

Also an Oxymoron, like 'religious technology.' If you're in the freezone, you have failed to get out.

A good decision, made at the right time, and not in haste. ESMB just got safer for people getting out.

Only problem is now Terril is posting about FZ stuff on WWP. Good luck with that...
