In summing this up, I used Scientology words to justify slamming a few people around. i detailed the points of policy. I can see how an impartial observer would have been taken aback. That was my contribution to disharmony. Dexter has left ESMB as a result of Emma's rant. I'm not happy about that.

You did NOT slam or smash anyone. You used publicly available information, both from the internet & from LRH issues, to refute a variety of ridiculous charges & counter-charges in order to quiet down an unnecessary disturbance that the board owner failed to handle. Some of the individuals involved in the upset didn't like having their game play disrupted by introduction of facts and chose to leave.

I share your feelings about Dexter, but am optimistic he will return to esmb once he understands Emma's stated views and the character of board policy.

Diana did a non clandestine, but nevertheless Op on a non functioning member of ESMB called Oreacle.

I was in the back ground, not trying to make peace.

Oreacle exploded on BB's Yahhoo ghroups. BB and others added to the mayhem.

I did what I've already explained.

Well Ed you are not the only one who could be described as stupid. This whole thing has been very heated and explosive. Ken U made an error bringing matters to my forum. I made an error in adding data to that.

I should have remembered/ realized that OSA may have been monitoring
our forum. They have communicated that they have it and it seems it will,
feature on the FZ survivors website.

The three of us have been trying to do the right thing whatever that may be.

I must also add that TO may not be to everyone's taste, but is a personal friend and to describe her as non-functioning is incorrect. Less you mean not currently posting here which is correct.

Aida got fed up with Oracle's continual nattering, baiting & personal attacks and "outed" her. I personally wish she hadn't BUT I can understand why she did.

Oracle is responsible for her own situation. If she wanted her "confidentiality" respected due to her regard for her familiy then it constituted bloody-mindedness and fool-hearted stupidity to think she could spend years on the internet attacking, undermining, and intentionally causing disruptions.

Personally I think you are being WAY too hard on yourself. You did what you could to quiet the situation in the absence of leadership from the board moderator. I think you did a pretty damn good job under the circumstances.

It's not your fault that ... a certain unspecifed person ... chose to involve himself in a partisan fashion on his own list and went on to release confidential information about others. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

Our readership has picked up!

We hit 200.000 posts on Nov 12, and today, Nov 28, we are already 221,100. In the last 16 days, we have averaged 1380 per day. That would be 41,500 a month or a half million a year. I've noticed that most of the added readership is non ESMB members. There are usually 8 to 12 non members reading this thread during the high volume reading hours.

You could have stopped there -- I didn't need the lectures.

You might find what the author has to say to be an interesting alternative point of view on human "social" standards and expectations. Or not.

Terril, in a way it is encouraging to me to visualize a world without OSA ops in it, where one doesn't have to continually watch what one says, and we can ALL forget about OSA! Someday, my friends, we will see it come true.

Sometimes trying to do the right thing causes problems, or makes things worse. I admire anyone who publically owns their mistakes and learns from them.

That couch is where we hang out to sing the Karioke songs but judging from Lorinda and my expressions, Dave had pulled the plug out between the Karioke and the wall mounted flat screen TV and there was no picture or sound. I must say that Lorinda is extremely fetching in that picture. Sweetness, note the dark tones in the front of my hair. So far those that do not like the phoney hair coloring are my ex wife, Evy, and probably Sweetness. Those that do like it are Edey, Lorinda, Ginger and Evy's boyfriend Roberto. Hats, your opinion on the colored hair would be of interest to me. What do you say?

Looks great Lakey. It adds depth and interest. Those with light colored hair should always take advantage of layers of highlighting. Gives things a richness. Didn't Jay Leno go from having dark hair with a white streak to white hair with a dark streak?

A. It was an Op. It wasn't a spontaneous, spur of the moment, heated angry outburst. It was calculated. I'm not saying that is bad. I am saying by definition it was an Op. In hindsight, Diana isn't footing the bill for ESMB, and it was against the rules, and the wrong thing for a guest to do.

I did help her to amplify the outing. I've never been anything but a bad boy. One shouldn't expect an alligator to change its wings.

With 20 / 20 hindsight, it was something I'm not proud of.

B. Would you please edit out the carping regarding BB? You may get away with it on Freezone boards, but this is the Apollo thread, and we treat everyone here with respect.

As to the issue with Carmelo, I got some idea of what it is all about and have decided to stay out of it. I read Emma's comments in her OP and agreed with her conclusions but I would not go out of my way to make wrong people who believed differently. Of course, if I was pushed into a corner or a close friend of mine was attacked, I may have said what Emma said. She reached the conclusion which must be reached if one opens oneself up objectively to all the data available on the internet about LRH and C of S. The truth is the truth - plain and simple. It has only one side to it.
