About that HRD (Happiness Rundown): It was a fantastically simple procedure. Betty Kerswell delivered mine. She and the C/S, Wayne Bennett, had the perception to end off when I got through with Precept 7: Seek To Live With The Truth. After looking it over I suddenly interpreted that to mean, to me, seek to live with yourself. My simple self. My damn-near static self. I am the Truth. Beyond any and all argument. There was nothing more betta' than that. End of rundown.

The False Data Stripping process, and that portion of the HRD, always drove me crazy. The stripping part was all fine and dandy right up to the point where the auditor shows the pc the "true data." :omg:

So the auditor digs up a tech or policy reference, shows it to the pc, and ...

Wait a minute!

There is a mighty big assumption going on there, that the tech is true.

I can make an argument showing policy that the tech is not necessarily true, it is simply workable. And who would determine the workability of that tech or policy? The pc, of course! Not LRH; not the auditor; not the C/S; not the person's "senior."

So ya, I had a good result on the HRD, as did many other people. But then I am, or at least was, a Caddy of a pc so my results are not a standard by which anyone else might judge their own.

Same.

Ted & Leon,

Thank you for your excellent stuff re: HRD. You both nailed it. :thumbsup:I acted upon new “truth” and charged...damn the torpedo’s, full speed ahead!...into creating one of my biggest this lifetime train wrecks. :melodramatic::yes:

Depending upon the C/S, Action and Auditor as a PC I was everything from a Caddy or Ferrari to a Corvair or Garbage Truck.

Corvair Monza, cool car!

It took GM a few years to get it right, and they did, but Ralph Nader was already dogging them. That is a good example of the bad effects of dragging a time track around and other beings "creating you as..."

Well, Rog, I played a lot of baseball in my youth. Had some Ascension Experiences with which only another athlete might relate. I have a little thing I have been meaning to write up relating C/S 44R to baseball--or any other game for that matter. I'll do it later...

The AE's I attained in baseball were achieved in the playing of the game. I get nothing out of spectating. I can only suppose that while fans can be fanatic, they do not know the AE of play on the field.

The game of baseball does not require a particular field to be played. It can be played on dirt, or grass, or asphalt, ... It just requires the basic setup of three bases, home plate, bat, ball, etc.

As a kid, some of us even got by with no bases, no gloves, no field of play that resembled a baseball field. Stickball played off the schoolhouse wall was an interesting game and a ton of fun. A tennis ball can be made to hop and jump and your mama's broom handle makes a fine bat for that game.

So it is with Scientology and Knowledgism. There are similarities in the basics. There are great differences in the particulars where Knowledgism shows great divergence then blows way beyond Scientology. Scientology is heavy on focus on the negative. Knowledgism leans to the positive. Scientology insists on one-size-fits-all abandoning its basic principle of "audit the pc in front of you." As I understand it, Knowledgism audits/processes the client on the client's own needs/wants.

The most important piece of tech, or at least the one I most appreciate in Knowledgism, is the bit about the AE being a double-edged sword. As Scientology pushes the client/pc towards greater, more expansive, AE's and greater number of AE's, the client/pc is made to fall on the opposing blade of his own sword. Then out comes the C/S 53, another Int R/D is put on the table, lists are repaired, etc. etc. None of that addresses the real difficulty.

What is the real difficulty? From my perspective and experience, it is the processing itself which neglects the pc's involvement with his environment, and terminals therein. That environment continues to create the new you as the old you. Alan has a name for that. Since I am not familiar with his acronym I will skip trying to say what it is.

The thing I have discovered is that if I am in a big AE I need to upgrade the environment and the people in my life. Then and only then can I achieve stability. I don't know how anyone else feels about this, but I feel it is a big deal and a big piece of the puzzle that needs to be in a seekers toolbox. In Scientology the AE crash just means here's an opportunity to sell more processing, FES time, repair, Ethics, PTS handling, and so on.

I spent a number of lifetimes studying Buddhism. In the end, all I did was implant myself. It took a major stable win on OT-TR-0 and years of sorting what it all meant to bring the study of Buddhism to a close. When I got to Knowledgism and conversing with Alan, I was able to wrap up much of what I studied in Scientology that left me hanging, and, I might add, I was hanging up unknowingly.

Following Knowledgism I undertook a bit of Chakra Clearing. In that I was able to achieve an AE that far surpassed anything yet experienced elsewhere. If I had not done Scientology, if I had not studied Knowledgism and the AE, I would not have achieved the AE in Chakra Clearing, and had I attained the AE without the knowledge of the double-edged sword of the AE's in general, I would have been really screwed up. This AE produced phenomena immediately and thereafter IN THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE. This is after all, one of the stated goals of Scientology processing. I had to go outside that box to achieve it.

I don't know that in a being's mind these subjects can be held completely separate because they are not--and they are. They can be held separate in the physical universe, but not in the mind of the seeker.

We are all building or REBUILDING on the past.

Before getting involved with Scientology, I was sitting for hours sharing space silently with a friend for years. As beings , we were already in good shape. Solo (Grade 6) and The Clearing Course really polished that for me. Auditor training, doing, and chatting (much like we do here) widened my knowledge base immensely.

I was mildly underwhelmed by Alan's Dallas center staff and clientele. Eric, the "master processor," in my view, couldn't audit his way out of a paper bag. There a was a (non scio) client , who worked for T. Boone Pickens , and was "wealthy." He lived in an expensive house in Highland Park. We talked. From my point of view, I was poor. We live(d) in a small inexpensive house.

Yet, we had traveled, been to Europe, China, etc. He hadn't.

Our house was close to a $ 1M. His was under $500K

The staff drove Caddies. God, nobody in California would drive a Caddie over a Yugo. We were and remain to this day, poor, but our cars were Mercedes or Jaguar. i would never be caught dead in a Caddie.

The "important people" wore suits. I don't own a suit. My pants have a leather label on the back that says "Levi's." I don't have wing tips. I have cowboy boots, tennies, and sandals.

Alan's button seemed to be selling success.

I think success is family, friends, active lifestyle. The show the staff put on was material "things." Eric, for christsakes, wore golf logo shirts. He didn't play golf. He aspired to it. I wear T shirts. I aspire to no shirt and a good tan with white "raccoon eyes" spots around my eyes where my sunglasses block the sun.

The culture shock was interesting to say the least.

Alan did do tech as to developing processes. What fell short was auditor training. If you didn't already know how to do it, there wasn't a qual. At ASHO, for instance, there was David Aldrich. There was no equivalent person or post at Alan's. His lead (pronounced leed) was more lead (pronounced led).

Nothing Alan wrote is bad advice. What he didn't spend time on is a full section on training and qual.

In Appreciation of Good Friends

I suppose I should create a journal. So many fine thoughts go through my head as I work. This one just now as I cleaned the pool...

Some of the best auditing I have had in recent years could not be called auditing (or processing) at all. It is not in the traditional sense, but it is auditing (listening) nevertheless.

Several days might go by as I formulate my idea. And it is often a damn good idea if I may say so. Typically it has something to do with hubbard's slight of hand, or weirdness of scientology, or philosophy in general--or whatever. I think, "It's about time I talked with Carmelo."

Being the procrastinator that I am, I wait a few days. Then I get a call. It's Carmelo!

Ah, ha! The old telepathic noodle is still working!

After to much of "me think-he calls" I begin to feel guilty, so I hasten to originate the call even though l have nothing to talk about. :coolwink:

:dieslaughing:

Anyway, I would not say that I was Cause and Carmelo Effect because I thought the thought then he called. No, no. He is Cause. He picked up the phone, not me!

Anyway, once I get on a roll a typical call ends up with me talking, Carmelo listening. We talk a little or a lot. I finish and he says, "You aught to write that up."

Write it up?! I just said it all. There's nothing left to write!

We hang up, and wait for the next call some other day.

I talk. He listens. Good shit!

Like I said, I think I will start a journal.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Rep. Kucinich sues over olive pit in sandwich

By ANDREW MIGA, Associated Press – 32 mins ago

WASHINGTON – Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio is suing a congressional cafeteria for dental damage he says he suffered after biting into an olive pit in a sandwich wrap he bought there.

Kucinich's attorney, Andrew Young, declined to comment Wednesday on the lawsuit seeking $150,000 in damages from companies involved with the Longworth House Office Building cafeteria. A spokesman in Kucinich's congressional office also declined to comment.

The civil suit filed earlier this month in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia said the wrap "contained dangerous substances, namely an olive pit," that a consumer would not reasonably expect to find in the product served. The suit said that Kucinich suffered "serious and permanent" dental and oral injuries requiring multiple surgical and dental procedures.
Kucinich's lawsuit said the Ohio Democrat bought the sandwich on or about April 17, 2008. He is seeking damages for "past and future medical and dental expenses, compensation for pain, suffering and loss of enjoyment and other damages."

The liberal congressman made an unsuccessful bid for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.

Two of the companies named in the suit, Compass Group USA Inc. and Performance Food Group Co., declined comment through spokespersons.

Hats...I always read your stuff on the Board…great stuff and very, very helpful to me.

Re: the HRD...Part of mine was some of the better stuff I did and the other part was close to the worst stuff that ever happened to me in auditing…real nasty…turned out to be the MDR—Mad Dog Rundown. Like much of my Scn auditing, IMHO, there’s back doors, trap doors and hidden doors set in place…that’s the best way I can describe it for now…very subtle, dangerous and potentially deadly.

I have no problem whatsoever with the “Techies” and processors here…I’m confident they get great results, do no harm and render real and valuable help. But, the folks here are not “100% Standards Tech” blind bats. I have no problems or regrets—now—about one minute of my auditing; the process of “dismantling” the stuff—that was going on that I was not aware of at the time—is being very beneficial to me…I’m just grateful that I lived long enough to do it and that so many others came into my life—many of them here—to be, like you, signposts and lights along my pathway.

I don't know what to say. I've taken great solace at times in thinking that most don't take me that seriously when I talk tech. There's safety in that and hardly any responsibility. Kinda like being a column of air blending in inconspicuously with those of a higher altitude. Thanks

Indeed. In the hands of those who wish to assist a client some of it can be very beneficial. For example, Mary Freemans personal integrity programme gets wonderful results. However its really about case handling. Below the latest example.

Wins and changes on First Dynamic Ethics Program

When I started in Scientology umpteen years ago, my goals were things like, “Find out why I am in such a mess; Get more able so I can escape this situation that someone else has forced me into.” Doing this First Dynamic Ethics Program I saw where these goals came from and that they weren’t really my goals. The other morning I woke up and perceived for the first time what my own real goals are. They are mine, they are achievable, and they make me happy.

For the last few years I’ve had a feeling of failed purpose, lack of goals and games, etc. As a result of this program, I now have so much future and so much interest and so many things to pursue that the former feeling is completely gone, and even funny to think of.

I realized along the way that it’s not possible to have true integrity when one is “disintegrated” or shattered into many different false valences. This program has helped me see the difference between false valences and my true self, and assisted me in strengthening the presence of my true self in playing the game of life. The things we found that were not the true “me” were things that had totally ruined my life time after time—and this will no longer be the case.

I had taken advantage of Mary's introductory offer on her website. She was quite gracious. She is very simple in her handling and gets you at first to see what you are already doing. Kind of like Phil Spickler talking about getting the PC to do what he's already doing in a process until he NOTICES that's what he's doing. Some tech supercedes 'thinking' and gets to the core.
