... I am almost positive that I was not this person in a past life and yet I seem to be connected in some way to his thoughts from that period. Does anyone have an explanation for what is going on that would cause this to occur?
Lakey

Several alternate hypotheses suggest themselves based on one's own considerations & attititudes.

A. Psychic: picking up another's thoughts may not be limited in time/space

B. Entities: entities sharing ideas & images picked up from another

C. Akashic Records: ability to 'tap into' underlying information networks which transcend time/space

D. Self-Delusion: mocking up data to support an hypothesis or personal belief

Others can be imagined according to one's own beliefs & bias.

2-way-comm is no longer taught or practiced.... it is definitely a lost art....

Did you know that now there is an approved list of responses to be used in TR4? a long list that is supposed to cover every possible origination and what the allowed response is? jeez.

Marina

I have an approved list of 2wc stuff:

Holy shit! Tell me more!

Wow! Incredible! Give me a second to wrap my wits around that. ... What I don't yet understand is... Tell me more about that.

Really? Tell me more... Paint a word picture that I can see.

That doesn't make sense. Help me understand...

You can nudge with any of the prepcheck buttons, asked once, if 2wc slows down to a halt with no resolution.

There's no substitute for being alive. That about covers it.

Ted, thanks for your technical pointer on the composer's pictures.

The "test" we are using is the PCA, similar to the OCA. Test is really a bad word to use for it. Nothing is really being tested; "profile" or "analysis" are better words to use when refering to it. PCA stands for Personal Capacity Analysis. There are a couple of differences between it and the Oxford Capacity Analysis used by the Orgs. The Oxford has 200 questions and the PCA has 210. Most of the first 200 questions are quite similar although sometimes they are worded slightly differently.

The main difference is in the answers. The OCA has only 3 categories, "yes, no and maybe". The PCA has these 3 but also adds "mostly yes", and "mostly no". To me, this is a huge improvement.

Often, taking an OCA profile, neither yes or no really filled the bill and you were instructed to use maybe as little as possible. Too many maybes and the test had to be thrown out. By adding the mostly yes and mostly no answers, it is much easier for most people to answer the questions.

This profile, developed by Raymond Kemp in the 1960's is available on the internet at no cost. The person takes it with the computer turned on and the answers are entered on the computer and then the computer instantly tallies the scores in each category. It would also make the graph but most people do not have a plotter on their computer so the graph is usually done by hand.
Lakey

The OCA used to really bug me. I thought it was a stupid test. I remember there was a question that was something like...would you prefer to walk rather than ride? I don't recall the exact wording, but I remember thinking.....well, doesn't it depend on whether it's snowing in below zero weather or raining or it's a beautiful sunny day? I couldn't see how there was a definite yes or no because it depended on the circumstances, so the only answer could be maybe, which I think stuck me in a low profile on the OCA....maybes made me seem like I was indecisive. I thought some of the answers depended on the circumstances and there were no circumstances given. It seemed like such an invalid test. I thought it was nuts.

Is this new test any different?

Me too. Although I used to chuckle when it came to the IQ test because I used to remember the answers. Same old questions, same ol, same ol.

Yeh....one's IQ goes up because one has taken the test so many times that they now know the answers. :dieslaughing:

HI Guys, Thursday morning here in NZ. Thanks for all the good wishes. I just popped into the hospital where my wife aorks and am using their pooter to catch up on things. All basically OK here. I have obtained my own generator so am able to have continuous power - though not enough for a hot water cylinder - mind you we don't have any water either. reminds me of the old saying "If we had some eggs we could be having steak and eggs, if we had some steak." Still no powwer or water in my area. Roads being fixed up amazingly fast - the reconstruction and emergency services people are absolutely AWESOME in what they are doing. It looks as though about half the CBD of Christchurch is either already destroyed ar will need demolition and rebuilding. I'm on the eastern side of the city and it's the roads and pipes etc that were most damaged. Some houses too but most survived pretty well.

Some interesting posts here. Lakey, your question particularly interested me. I have found that I can often "be" a person or place momentarily and jus "know" what is there or what their viewpoint on things is. Also with places one can move on that place's time track as it were and know it as it was in the past. Of course none of this is "provable" but it is very real nevertheless. Hearing music and knowing what the composer knows should ea normal thing.

Also, thetans without bodies can recognise each other. There is a beingness-tag of some sort. Another phenomena I have encountered is that the more free the theta is the more easily it spots when another being has attention on them. This is the old "someone is watching me" phenomenon taken to a much higher level, It is a normal theta perceptic I beilieve.

More later.

Thanks MAB. Very helpful list! One thing about "A.", this person has been dead for over 200 years. I wonder if he is still thinking this or if I am picking up his thoughts from that time. B. and D. are also strong posibilities.

Leon, it must be rough without hot water and so many essentials. With half the city being wrecked, it seems as if it will be a builders paradise for many years to come. Do people have insurance for earthquakes in NZ so that they can quickly rebuild?

Great comments on my tech question, they are very helpful.

Face:)

I read it and it was short but sweet. I remember reading in Pierre Ethier's Whistleblower thread that wealthy cliental who wanted to be audited by Pierre or some other top Class XII were able to pay extra to get who they wanted. The going rate was around $750 per hour and if they paid extra for Pierre, for example, they could get him for $1,000 an hour.

How much was given to Pierre or other premium level auditors? The answer is $1 an hour and that was true whether the client paid the normal rate of $750 or the premium rate of $1,000. If Flag fleeced their client for the extra $250, the auditor was not given one dime of that extra sum!!

It seems as if LRH purposely wanted to keep the rank and file staff members in a lower economic condition. He did that by choice not by necessity. No matter how much an Org made, the staff members did not share in the surplus - the one exception being that they often had a bigger food allocation in their very good weeks so that the staff ate better than in a normal week.

Even that may not have been generosity but rather a calculated move based on the fact that better fed staff would have more energy and be able to accomplish more if their quality of food was higher. In any case, the staff really appreciated it when good food was served. It caused their morale to rise.

Glad to hear you are doing OK, even though the place is still 'roughing it'.
I don't hear any reports of looting like we get in the states in such a situation.

My God, still no water. I can't imagine what that is like. How ya gonna make ice cubes for the lemonade. But I guess flushing the toilet is a more pressing problem. Been there__ filling up the tank by hand with plastic gallon jugs.

I kinda feel when it happens that its like linking into the Akasha via someone's life print. I have a thing about being responsible for someone else's point of view and ingesting info thereby. That method got booby trapped for me a while back by someone who protested . I often have the sensation of knowing how to know anything I'm inquisitive about by extending my feelers into the invisible library.

What you experienced as talked about in your post re the music hasn't happened to me since I was a teenager. Maybe my ego is too encapsulated these days. :) Those are good experiences to have. Such a happening affirms your limitless nature. :coolwink:

Power has come on and my internet connection has just been restored! So just the water now. Whew. Good to be back.

Hatsy, anything that was ever knowable by anyone in this universe is knowable by any thetan in this universe. Everything can be accessed, regardless of time or place or any other limiting considerations. This is simple basics.

The trick is to be it without also spotting that one is just being it. This is why I said it was momentary for me. As sooon as I become it I spot Hey! I'm being that, and of course instantly pop back into being who I really am. I haven't quite got the knack of holding that position.

Well now, this is vintage Face at its best!!

Numbnuts here posted the wrong link...here is "Shooting Stars", Part Seven

http://www.forum.exscn.net/showpost.php?p=544047&postcount=52

Fascinating read Face!! Your post is so informative. The limitations of Diana Hubbard really show up. A good look at how Diana's influence and power waned in a period of about 3 years is availabe by reading Mike Goldstein's story.

When you look at the Hubbard family and what condition each member was in when Hubbard started to wane, it is quite revealing. A thumbnail sketch of it would be:

Mary Sue - Away serving prison time with a thereafter tarnished image so that it would be folly for her to stay on as a C of S executive.

Quentin - Dead, this gentle soul was never the man's man and firebreather whcih Hubbard required as his successor.

Arthur - He appears to be an intelligent man, mainly interested in pursuing a career in art. He never showed interest in being groomed for a C of S Executive position. He appears to be focused, knowing what he wanted in life and he has achieved a career as a successful artist.

Suzette - From what I saw of her, she was pretty with blue eyes and red hair and had a nice energy about her but she did not have much ethics presence and showed little interest in Scio tech or admin.

That left only Diana as an heir apparent to LRH. Diana did have charisma and also Ethics Presence. She could command attention.

Thanks, Face, for telling us that she did not have much tech training. I, for one, did not know that. She did have significant admin training, right? She appeared to be the best family member to assume part of LRH's legacy. However, when push came to shove, she could not fight it out with DM in the trenches. Apparently, she was easily coerced to knuckle under to him. It is sad to me that no one now knows what she is doing now and that she has never written a word about her views on C of S nor her Dad's or DM's management styles.

In summary, LRH's family members do reflect, somewhat, who he really was. His children remind me of the type of offspring who grow up in upper middle class homes in England and the United States.

Nibs was an interesting man but a quite ordinary person when all is said and done and his sister Kathryn is never mentioned at all, anywhere.

Alexis was disowned by LRH for no good reason. From what little is written about her, she appears to be a delightful person. The 4 offspring from Mary Sue are covered above.

On LRH, I agree with you that LRH did know full fell the wretched conditions under which staff lived. I do have a little first hand experience on this. Not only did he care nothing about a person's personal dynamics or whether any of their basic needs were being met, but contrary to his own policy on playing "musical chairs" with stable staff members and moving them around too much, he personally would raid Orgs and rip off their most valuable staff and bring them to where he was so that they could serve him personally.

Not only that, but if such a person was ripped off from another Org and did not work out at his Org, that person was not rehabilitated and sent back to where he was last doing well but instead was labled insane and incompetent and kicked out on his ass and assigned a large Freeloader debt. CANDY SWANSON SEEMS TO BE AN EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE. HE TREATED HER FAIRLY.

I THINK THAT HIS WANTON TREATMENT OF STAFF, ESPECIALLY POTENTIALLY VALUABLE STAFF WAS ONE OF HIS BIGGEST ACHILLES HEELS. IMHO, in his treatment of staff, he was in the condition of being STUPID. He wasted extremely able and brilliant staff who wanted badly to serve him with almost no compensation. After wasting such a person, he would "replace" him with a someone who was just a body and just a name.

The problem is that in truth the discarded valuable employee was never replaced. The replacement was just a camoflauged hole.

Here's Roger's observations and experience on the question Lakey asked to which there have been some very good answers already :D

Inherently, we are infinitely present. That is, without limit as to time or space. We screwed things up by introducing the appearance of "location" and/or "limitations" of being.

Thus we, in truth, can be aware (at) anywhere we choose . . . if we have any remaining (or restored) power of choice or volition of doing so.

But the thing not discussed by Lakey nor in the replies is the issue of the original intention of the musician that Lakey became aware of:p

Here is Roger's explanation on that point. It is a point I have dealt with on a number of times and found to be factual.

The thought/intention created or envisioned by the musician, as articulated by Lakey, was created without any time constraint. In other words it was created to continue in existence as the musician's ongoing solution continuum . . . and thus, the moment Lakey contacted the Being "to see what was up" Lakey will have collided with that ongoing continuum of "now in existence solution."

It isn't/wasn't a past that was perceived . . . it was the now continuum that had been created/emanated in a point of time now considered to be (or is viewed as being) in or of the past.

These are the subtle distinctions regarding time and space that one can learn to discern as one advances with one's awareness.

One of the hardest lessons folks pursuing the self enlightenment path we are on have to learn (to handle) is that of being able to recognize and to unravel these types of nuances and in particular the trick of the "now continuum" and how it came about/was brought into being.

I'll not get into the various nuances of consideration or intention that bring it about at this time, but instead leave it to you to have the fun of discovery for yourselves

But what I will say is this, in the spiritual universe(s) it is all now, no physical universe time change except for what is actually introduced by you or agreed by you if created by another.

Rog

I think most of us do it, Lakey!

I agree with Roger and much of what else has been said about this...I've had these kinds of experiences my whole life, even as a very young child...and I'd like to add to what Roger shared with us...there is a lot more to communication...there is a lot more to us as beings than we commonly recognize, or are encouraged to recognize and explore and expand on in our corporately driven materialist based consumer culture.

If we really fully recognize and actualize the greatness of our selves as beings, it makes us very much harder to herd as corporate sheep, uh, excuse me...consumers and "good" compliant members of a civilized society. :eyeroll:

I think the ability to shift into and merge with other viewpoints is inherent in us as spiritual beings. This manifests in many different ways in our lives...Mark's list is good and can probably be expanded on...

Also, for us as physical human beings who are "herd animals" (and we are) think back to how much of our collective existence was spent during hunter gatherer days...how useful would it be for us to be able to communicate via reading body language and facial expressions, as well as knowing other individuals (both leaders and other group members) so well that at times it was as if you could "read their minds" in knowing when they would zig and not zag during a pursuit or a fight, etc. I think these kinds of abilities are:

1. Inherent in us as spiritual beings... AND

2. We, as human beings or our "Genetic Entities" evolved into genetic strains of humans with greater or lessor abilities to shift into "other" viewpoints, in multiple modalities and with multiple applications, as a survival skill! :)

I think both are valid and true, so it's all good! I think some people are afraid of using these inherent abilities or talents or have been made to feel wrong for sharing these kinds of experiences and so put up all kinds of blocks or rationalize away most of their experiences with this...

Lakey, I think you are perfectly normal in what you are sharing with us of your experiences with this...as well as pretty highly evolved as a sensitively aware being!!! :happydance: Do we really need to know exactly what it is and how it works, or can we just enjoy and grow through such experiences? And CELEBRATE that we ARE such big beings and have ALL of the eternal NOW to enjoy exploring it all in? I say, YES!!!

Leon, so glad that conditions are improving there...I know lots of people are working with a will to get the major infrastructure more functional. I have lived under all kinds of deprivations due to disasters, so I can relate to the relief of having the power back on, etc. Good you got a generator just as a back up for future uses. Very handy to have!

Still flowing love, prayers and lots of theta to Christchurch and all affected areas. Keep giving us updates about how you guys are doing...I have heard they may move the business district elsewhere, to allow time for rebuilding. One thing I have learned about man-made MEST, is no matter how beautiful or useful or your emotional ties to it...if it was built in the first place, it all can be re-built...artwork, architecture, landscaping, everything can be restored. It's just a matter of having the money, resources and political will to do so. I feel confident Christchurch will be repaired and restored, not matter how long it takes, because people care about it!

Christchurch is a lovely city that people around the world have warm fuzzies about, and care about seeing it restored (not like the 9th ward in New Orleans~ extreme poverty and mostly minority).

Ted...please do tell us your viewpoint of this time period from the Mission standpoint. If the Mission Takeover had not occurred, COS would be a very different entity today, I think with much less fraud and abuse of it's members...but oh well...what might have been doesn't help us end the abuses NOW!

Facey, I am so very glad you are doing this writing, I do think it is very valuable to get your viewpoints down for the collective future reference! Great job, Pal!

I am almost finished with this portion of my mest work, (whew!:whistling:) had to take time out for having the flu (My body said, "That's it! Enough with the hard work, I want a break!":D) and hope to be more back to normal online within a month or so.

Keep up the good work, everybody! Big hugs to all! :happydance:
