Any Christians?

Oh god...

This one makes me feel kinda sick. :)

It's almost like the end scene in BraveHeart, where he's having his guts ripped open and spread out before him.

Let's love bomb Alanzo! :happydance: :puke:

I'm not as confident as Paul in my estimations of people. I love the mock-up I have of Alanzo - but how complete and accurate that mock-up is - who knows? The real Alanzo is probably a complete arse!

Paul - can you point me in the direction of that interchange with Alan please?

If I can find it. It was 2-4 months ago. Running back through either Alan's or my last few hundred posts isn't a cost-effective way of finding it. I'll have to wait for some appropriate search terms to percolate into my consciousness.

I got into Scientology because I could not buy into the Christian doctrine, thinking Scientology was something new and unique, (well it was). Having been fooled and abused by that cult, I have now gravitated towards a naturalistic, humanist, ...oh alright, ATHIEST viewpoint. Yes I have now assumed a viewpoint thought of by the great unwashed masses as worse than homosexuality. I guess I just always find the road less taken to be more appealing.

And I must say it answered a lot more questions than it created. I am always open to changing this viewpoint but for now nothing has done so.
Being in Scientology has shown me how common just about all religions are in deluding their followers into a perfect god/being, us vs them, believe and don't think mindset.

No Thanks

I was a very devout Christian and started my own study of the Bible when I was a teenager and had some very interesting spiritual contacts during those years. What stopped me was the first time I viewed a past life while I was living in Lyon, France. I knew this was not part of the Christian scene and would have to work my way out of it. As a Scientologist I always made the link in my mind between the truths in the Bible (yes, there are some) and the truths written up by Ron Hubbard (yes, there are some). I guess I was attempting to integrate the two.

From my previous studies I knew that the Bible was not the unaltered "word of God", although I felt a great affinity for a Christ-like being.

My viewpoint today is that anyone who tries to give you a belief system, a religion, you don't need it, my dear, better to go and find out for yourself. Prayer done in a closet is 1000 times more revealing than prayer in public.

It took awhile but they all took me off, until just recently and I can't figure out how they found me being that I have moved numerous times. Any idea how they did this?:confused2:

Do you have any friends who are CofS Scientologists? If so, possibly one of them filled out a form with the names and addresses of a few friends who might be interested in a special offer.

If your moves were over a short period, the Post Office might have forwarding addresses for six months.

Unless you are super-rich, or very special for some other reason, no-one there is going to invest in a PI to track you down, or anything like that, just so they can have one more person on the mailing list.

Christian OT

I am not an ex -Scientologist, however my husband is. I am a Christian. I have never been a Scientologist, never would have been. Just when I think my husband is a Christian he'll come up with something completely off the wall. For a while I wondered where he got some of his ideas and it finally occurred to me how much Scientology still influences him. He can't get past it. He still receives Scientology periodicals and still talks about the effective methods Scientology employs. He says the "church" became corrupted and he left or he was kicked out. I am not sure which.

Are there any Scientologists on this board who has embraced the doctrines of Christianity? If so, any advice?

Hello,

I don't only embrace the doctrines of Jesus, I have been a follower of Christ for a very long time.
It is good to recognize the difference between the doctrines of Jesus, the doctrines of men and the doctrines of demons.
I am also OT.
I truly know the Jesus of the bible. He is very real, not just a concept or historical figure from a book. He was crucified and rose from the dead. He sits at the right hand of the Father and is coming for his church (the true church) soon.

I am also OT VII. It is Y'shua (Jesus) who prepared me, sent me to walk and talk with a select few at AOLA and CC.

Perhaps I may be able to bridge the gap of any communication difficulties between you and your husband?

I will be willing to answer any questions candidly.

Hi Peppin -

Welcome to the board!

How did you get around all that Xenu-implanted Christianity stuff that you had to study in Scientology?

Do you believe in the R6 bank?

If so, which part of your religion of Christianity is implanted and which is not?

Very good Questions

Hi Peppin -

Welcome to the board!

How did you get around all that Xenu-implanted Christianity stuff that you had to study in Scientology?

Do you believe in the R6 bank?

If so, which part of your religion of Christianity is implanted and which is not?

To answer your questions, I must clarify a few points.

1) As one who has experienced EP on OT III and has begun NOTS, I have indeed experienced the R6 Bank.

2) Having experienced EP on the Doctorite course, I am fully aware of the things I have done, the capabilities of us humans. I KNOW that there appears to be no limit to what we are capable of creating.

3) My religion as you put it, is not a set of beliefs but a knowing. Knowing of someone very real and more here than I am.

4) Christ means "The Anointed One" In Jewish theology the ONE who will fulfill the 100+ prophesies written of him by 40 people in 66 books spanning thousands of years.
His name is Yeshua. His name means "God among US".

All throughout my processing to OT Vii, Yeshua (in english Jesus), was literally with me.
I know that fundamentally, I am creating everything. Even so, when I am visiting my Mother, I still consider her very real and really a person.
Likewise, I know the person of Christ, Yeshua, and that he is also very real.
Any attempt to say otherwise not only flies in the face of documented history but also flies in the face of spiritual reality..for he IS reality.

It is of no doubt that suggestions that christianity is part of the R6. LRH said" If there ever was a devil, he created the bank". The ruler of this world certainly knows that there would be some to become clear and realize OT in these days. He will arrive after the church is taken out saying: " I am God, and so are you"

I believed it before, I now know better.

This person Yeshua is the only perfect man to walk on earth. He never had an R6 bank. He never experienced the pitfalls us humans fell into. He is God.

When I consider the whole track, I am blown away by his patience. He is so much that it is a huge understatement to say that "1 day is like 1000 years to him". He is God, He waited for the right time to take on a body and made himself also human.
There was an OT Vii at the Manor Hotel with whom I used to lunch with.
He once said that "Jesus went to India as a teenager". At first I thought this to be in error but this same Jesus told me two years before about this person and that he did indeed go to India. But not to study as he suggested.

While processing up to OT VII, some of us experienced the knowledge that everything is the result of a thought in a mind. For a moment, there was the consideration that I am but a thought in someone's mind. I found great comfort in knowing that the one who imagines me into existence is not only me, but Yeshua. " all things came into being by him". He promised us "lo, I am with you always". These are true statements.

You may get a hint that I have great faith in the one I know as Jesus. I have no problem in knowing him and also knowing me.
I will admit, that at first I was a bit apprehensive about dealing with the R6 bank. I could feel what I believed it to be. He told me I must deal with it.

Being about 10 feet from my body and having Yeshua by my side helped comfort me in knowledge and in truth. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"
I was very able to deal with the lies I had been subjected to. Afterwards, it was Jesus who said "look at your body". It was then I could actually see the BT's. I thought ....That's not right.

This is an unusual viewpoint. A sort of synthesis of scientology and the teachings of Jesus.

I like a lot of the things he said.

Thanks for your answer, Pepin, although I don't think you really answered what I asked.

But anyway...

Did you do your OT levels in the Church, or in the Freezone?

I did my OT levels in the 70's before the freezone.

The new mailings started last year, I hadn't received anything from scientology since around maybe 1991.

Each place I've lived since that time have been 2 plus years in durations and I never received any scientology mail, so its still a mystery.

For awhile it was about 10% or more of my mail, but its suddenly tapered down to an occassional piece here and there. It goes straight to the trash, I don't open it.

Thanks Pepin and everyone else for your responses. My husband thinks L. Ron Hubbard was a great, kind brilliant man. He says Ron Hubbard didn't speak of religion and he said L. Ron said religion or God was left up to the indiv. to figure out. It's my husband's belief that Scientology has been taken over by criminals.

I have at least 100 hardback Scientology books in my basement. If my husband goes before me those books will end up in a bonfire in my back yard.

I have no idea what a R6 bank is. Not do I know what O.T. is etc.

As I said before just when I think my hubby has it he says something like," Yes, Christ is a very unique spirit or I have accepted Christ as MY Savior or he'll say that, In the name of Christ is exactly the same as in the manner of Christ. Of course he doesn't believe in Hell and of course he believes demons are thetans.

I've always wondered why he gravitated to pagan eastern religions and now I see he is trying to validate the concepts he learned in Scientology. On the theory that see the ancients believed it too, it must thus be true.

I've been studying the Bible on my own with tapes, religious radio, concordances etc. I do drag him on retreats etc.

I feel bad that my husband has gone through this. . I had no idea.

I think there's a lot of good in Christianity. I used to be Christian. I think it has much wisdom.

I would never burn a Christian (or Moslem or Hindu or...etc) book just because I didn't believe.

I'm rather disgusted that you would burn Scn books, Carol.

I think it's good to respect the belief systems of others.

Great posts, Pepin.

I would hazard a guess that, in general, one can be a Christian and a Scn'ist at the same time if one is not terribly orthodox or fundamentalist in mindset.

I no longer believe in Jesus as God, but I'll tell you what- I saw the movie "the passion of the Christ" with my husband John and we were greatly moved. I felt I saw Christianity in a "new unit of time".
