End of Scientology - Warning signs to Scientologists

End of Tmes - End of Scientology:

We now have extraordinary evidence that public outcry against Scientology is hitting critical mass. Witness the over 6000 comments in a one-day-old Yahoo News story about an ex-Scientologist held captive on the Freewinds that has gone viral.

Witness today's breaking story of the outrage from local citizens in Clearwater when the Church of Scientology's role became known in a charitable fund-raising event for the city.

http://www.wtsp.com/news/local/article/223873/8/Scientology-criticism-forces-Ruth-Eckerd-to-cancel-show

The iconic Ruth Eckard Hall had to literally CANCEL a major event because of the vicious backlash by long time (wog) supporters and patrons of that institution.

It has now become commonplace for Scientology-the-Stat-Crasher to "ruin utterly" the decades of goodwill and public support for previously beloved actors, celebrities and institutions. And they do it quickly these days. Simply an announcement that mentions Scientology is involved is enough to create a negative pr maelstrom that is nearly impossible to recover from.

Celebrities and VIPs and institutions (and their managers, agents & board members) will note these horrific meltdowns and take appropriate measures to maintain a very safe distance from the cult of Scientology. That is a very good thing.

CLEARWATER, Florida -- Ruth Eckerd Hall announced Thursday afternoon it has canceled an upcoming fundraiser after negative reaction poured in due to its ties to the Church of Scientology.

It started with a mass email sent out by the non-profit music venue Wednesday morning. The email was an invitation to a January event at the Church, featuring David Pomeranz, a known Scientologist.

But it went to Ruth Eckerd's entire mailing list -- from anyone who has attended one show there to major donors -- leaving some furious about being asked to go to a Scientology function.

Some who received the email questioned if it was a violation of privacy and want to know who has their personal information.

On the Hall's Facebook fan page, one person wrote "I find it degrading and beyond insulting."

Another took it a step further, posting it "actually makes me want to stop being a member. If you continue to partner with Scientology, I will be unable to associate myself with you."

Ruth Eckerd and the Scientologists were partnering on the event to raise money to help restore downtown Clearwater's Capitol Theater.

But perhaps realizing the mistake, a few hours after the original mass email, Ruth Eckerd CEO Robert Freedman sent another email, clarifying the fundraiser and putting in bold type "the Church does not have access to any of your personal information."

10 News tried to reach Freedman for an interview throughout the day Thursday, but a spokesperson told us he was not available.

Then, late in the afternoon, the spokesperson sent an email saying the event had been cancelled due to a "significant number of negative responses."

I love the smell of a dying cult in the morning.
I do.
I really, really do.

This just came in. . .

They're being ripped to shreds in those 6000 comments, actually 6317 at the moment I write this. Look at the comments and the stats on which comments are "liked" and "disliked". Here's some examples of what I'm talking about:

Comment: Why is Scientology immune from criminal investigation? If the Catholic Church can be investigated for child abuse, why can't the Scientology be investigated for their abuses? Why the bizarre code of silence?

Comment: L Ron Hubbard was a science fiction writer. Scientology is a money making scam. Anyone who believes anything else is a fool.

Comment: Reality Check: if your religion was created by a failed science fiction writer then maybe it's not the path to enlightenment...

Comment: I believe her, Scientology is a cult plain and simple.

It looks like there's hope for this world after all!

I recommend going onto the Yahoo site and leaving a comment. It's a great set-up.

People can reply to your comment and you can have a conversation with them. It took 2 minutes for me to get a reply after leaving one.

One of the many things that is remarkable about this letter is the hundreds of millions of dollars that Scientology has spent to try and make people love it.

But anyone who is out in the world knows that if you bring up the subject of Scientology (or just stand near the front of an Ideal Org and listen to the comments of the passers-by) it becomes immediately obvious that virtually everyone who has ever heard the word Scientology dislikes it. And often hates it, as evidenced by the sample letter to Ruth Eckerd Hall demonstrates below:

Mr. Friedman,

Please be advised that I, my wife nor any member of our family would ever attend an event hosted by the so-called Church of Scientology. I find it degrading and beyond insulting that you would send out such an email solicitation. It is the broadest of assumptions on your part to think otherwise. Please be more judicious in the manner in which you, as the CEO off Ruth Eckerd Hall, conduct your efforts regarding fundraising. You've enjoyed a celebrated career at Ruth Eckerd but you have now seriously tarnished your reputation with this association.

Candidly if the so-called farce that is Scientology contributes one cent to the renovation we will never set foot in the Capitol Theatre again. You made a grave mistake Mr. Freedman.

So, what is it that makes people loathe Scientology so much that they would not step inside a theater that Scientology had anything to do with?

That's a big question.

Maybe a simple answer is that Scientology is hated because it is being "duplicated". People are perhaps just mirroring what they see and feel--and Scientology is one of the most hateful organizations on the face of the earth.

You fucking DB! They hate Scientology because they have gone PTS to the planetary SPs who want nothing other than to block ALL of our paths to Ron's amazing & wonderful BRIDGE to Eternal Freedom!!!!!

Jesus Christ on a Stick, any sensible sane aware person (Scientologist) would KNOW THAT. :duh:

That is enemy line! Don't you CARE about the future of this planet??????

You are definitely learning and coming along. Good use of foul language, that is one of the distinguishing hallmarks of a true Scientologist. However, I do have to take you to task for one glaring outpoint ... YOU FAILED TO ASK FOR A DONATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the point of spending time admonishing someone without giving them a path to redemption via donation? Donations are good for the soul. Sorry, but I am going to have to write up a KR on you for this. Perhaps what you need is to be sent to cramming.

Most of the Scientologists I talk to in Clearwater do not believe they have bad PR.

Really. I'm not talking about many people, but they are believe that the public doesn't trust the media and that people do like the Church.

Amazing.

You know, I don't think that hilarious comment is probably very far off from the truth of the OPERATION to get that fund raiser done.

I speculate, but. . .

Somewhere in Int Management and OT Ambassador program orders is an "Eval" and a program to handle it. The sit would be something like "Scientology as a third dynamic is not real to Wogs" (and therefore there is an ARC break or "disconnect" which prevents them from having a direct com line to the Commodore and his life-saving technology).

Thus, the "bright idea" is to "rehabilitate the purpose of degraded theater, thereby blowing off the stops and salvaging it from the dwindling spiral. . . on this planet." (Scn hyper-speak for fixing up the old theater). The genius idea is to use Scientology artists because they are the leaders of the new civilization.

And many pale, skinny, nervous Sea Org members went to sleep at night fantasizing about tens of thousands of Clearwater residents showing up at their new theater and having wins---just a hop, skip and a jump away from the friendly confines of the "friendliest place in the world" Flag.

Dreaming further, they had fantasies of Scientology-hating dogs suddenly breaking out with VVGI's and applause. And enthusiastically rushing up to Scientologists after each show and thanking them profusely for bringing the Golden Age of Clearwater about.

I promise you, they really, really, really thought this was going to work!

They just didn't account for one small, insignificant detail....

People hate treacherous, lying cults that steal their money.

We, 8 million Scientologists are very sad about all this SP shenanigans in the media lately, but since it's only on the Internet, that was invented for porn only, by people who rape everything in their sight, we also laugh and laugh, while expanding exponentionally, straight up and vertical, in unprecedental ways, trying hard to meet public demands of visiting our Ship To Total Freedom! Join the most ethical group on Earth! You are invited. Many called, few are chosen. Love, 8 million Scientologists.

Remarkable!

And when an indoctrinated Scientologist does rarely come to realize that the public at large truly dislikes Hubbard and the "religion" of Scientology, they attribute it to the wog's reactive minds.

I hate to repeat my entheta cognition again here, but since I am a "computing psychotic", I shall do so anyways.

COG: Any Scientologist in the world who has access to a computer (and still makes donations for Clear, OT, IAS, SuperPpower, Books to Libraries and the other dozens of projects) actually deserves to lose their money.

It's like people who lose their rent money gambling. They deserve to lose it. When they lose enough and experience enough pain and personal destruction, they will figure out that it is probably not a good idea to gamble.

Thus (here's the really big cog...lol) Scientologists who are getting bilked, scammed, hoaxed and defrauded daily are actually on a Bridge off the Bridge. With each loss and enturbulation, they are getting closer to the cult exit door.

I actually believe this. It's just that many Scientologists have very high tolerance of abuse--a "case gain" they would be much better without.

True Scientologists are love being abused in every way, but only by other true Scientologists, because it proves that it's a tough universe and only toughest thetans will survive.
