I used to hang with Dave, too. Funny guy, talented musician (former Berklee professor). Hope he's well and off lines.

When I first got to Boston org around '79 there was a guy who worked in Div 6 for I believe the Day org. I think his name was Peter Corona, but not sure. He was a drummer. Do you remember him at all?

Or does anyone else here remember him?
 
Sure. He was great! Dunno what happened to him. He played a solo at an event. Lots of great musicians in that org.

I liked Peter a lot.....even though he was the guy who evaluated my personality test and helped suck me into the cult. :duh:

He got Declared SP in the early 80's, for what I have no idea. :no:
I never agreed with it though.

I was at an event, perhaps the same one, where he played a solo. Great stuff! :thumbsup:

I remember Peter. He rocked. :thumbsup: As to his SP declare I think he had the "get me outta here" cognition. I seem to remember his exit was a bit messy. :D

I was wondering if anyone has news of Michael Phillips or Jim Lee from Boston Org - are they still in or have they gotten out?
 
Jim Lee was the snr C/S class VIII for Bsn Fnd, he was hooked up with Paul Ledoux's ex-wife Kelley. Mike was the C/S for Bsn Fnd and got married. He and his wife Devorah became public and I believe went to California but can't confirm that.

You were from that time period? I probably know you, I was Fnd sataff for over 7 years.

Thanks, Freethinker. I was friends with both of them on the outer org trainee program at Flag - I knew Jim best because we interned together. I just saw the title of the thread and thought I'd check to see if anyone knew what happened to them.

I also heard that Mike and Devorah went out to LA. Heard that from Linda who was the Snr CS for BSND a few years back. She was going on and on about how messed up Mike was and how he screwed things up tech-wise.

Same old pattern. Tech doesn't work. Kick someone out or make them miserable enough where they finally leave. Blame them for the out tech. Tell everyone that now things are better and standard and we're doing things 100% KSW. Still doesn't work, lather, rinse, repeat.

Oh poor Paula Marquez... She died of cancer, you know. They sent her to this holistic place somewhere, maybe Florida? The idea was that they gave you chemo but flushed it straight out of your body so that it didn't make your hair fall out. I remember she came back to visit once and she looked like a shadow of her former self. Like a skeleton.

But she had all her hair.
 
Still bugs me to see people who became lifers.
Though plenty bailed in the late 70's too.

they'd turn and attack on command.
I saw a show documenting the workers at WWII concentration camps.
Showed them laughing and drinking beer at meals after "work".
They seemed so human, but they were doing hideous things.

Not to saw it's equivalent, but there is an element of the same.
If you're in the party, it's all good, if not, watch out.
Yet there were some apparent friends in Boston in my youth, maybe.

Watching youtbe videos of Scientology spokespeople clearly lying is amazing.
Creepy when you can't really tell who you're talking to because of some stupid TR's overlay.
