What's new

AOLA in the Early 2000s

I was at AOLA from 2001 thru 2003 and a supervisor trainee at Flag from 2003 to 2004. Anyone here think they might know me? Anyone know what happened to the Captain Stephanie something from that time? She disappeared and all if a sudden Cal Cole took over.

I don't know what happened to Stephanie. She was a royal bitch to me when I was trying to do the leaving routing form to return home after my service. I should thank her for helping to open my eyes.

Hi Adam, I may know you, I was at AOLA from 2002-2004 in Div 6. To answer your question Capt. Stephanie, routed out of the Sea Org. I thought it was for medical reasons, since she was ill for a while, but I found out later that the MAA was collecting data, KRs and such, and when her file got big enough, turned it in uplines, and she was removed from post. It apparently wasn't received well, eventually the MAA who turned her in, got kicked out of the SO, and he told me at a party that was a big reason for his demise in the SO. Capt. Steph is now living in Perth, Australia and seems to be doing well, at least per her facebook statuses, enjoying ski trips to Switzerland and such. I'm not sure if she still practices Scientology, but she has a lot of Scientologist friends. Cal has been CO for a while. I like Cal, he was always good to me, very approachable, very friendly, and we both enjoyed talking about sports.

He was a level headed guy, especially next to Stephanie. I would like to know which MAA that was and would like to go to one if these parties haha. I still live in LA and I'd like to hook up with some old friends. Shoot aPM and I'll tell you who I am. I'm trying to be discreet because my family are still scientologists and I don't want to be forced to disconnect from them.

I remember that rumor about her health. You never really know why people leave.

Ditto. I think she was like that to everyone.

The MAA was Scozzi. As far as getting invited to Scientology parties, I don't get any invites anymore...

I always wondered what happened to that guy. he's still a scientologist? How can people go through that and still have faith in that religion

Yeah, Scozzi is still a Kool-aide drinker as far as I know, he recently got married, he told me that when he got off-loaded, he was begging to be put on the RPF. LOL. Anyway, I have no ill-will against him, hopefully he will speak up one day, I am sure he has plenty of stories.

She was Stephanie Carey at AOLA, for a while, until her divorce got finalized, then she went to Robinson which I assume is her maiden name.

I remember her husband in div six was rpf'ed and routed out. The events guy. Cool dude.

I was around at that time, by I have trouble remembering what happened when. I could have been at any of a dozen orgs, or on one of my multiple stints on the EPF or RPF at the time.

I was too shoot. Young and impressionable and stupid. That's who they recruit. I still am in shock about how brainwashed I was

I was public at AOLA at thata time, back and forth from Minnesota. Our paths may have crossed. When I was in the SO I worked with Cal for awhile, and then would see him when I was at AO after Stephanie the biotch was gone. Always liked Cal.

What happened to Stephanie's husband? I can't remember his name but I think I did a few recruit tours with him.

I'm sure you did. He routed out of the Sea Org after being on the.RPF. Stephanie was gone shortly after.

She didn't used to be.

I was AOLA staff from 1982 until 1996. I knew Stephanie before she was an exec. She was a nice, levelheaded girl.

Then again, that was my opinion of Debbie Cook also before she was the CO FSO.

The CO post in a high profile Sea Org service org tends to not bring out the best in people....

Can't imagine why.

Bill Carey.

His job was the Int Events In Charge in PAC.

If you were to be sent to Hell, and Satan was to give you the worst job in the place, my guess is that it would be something similar to his post.

Absolutely agree. How fitting they were posted in the boiler room.
