Need some help from the Aussies...

I've lost touch with a dear friend and very special person over the years... Arthur D. Cooke. His last known address was Beacon Hill, NSW which I presume is a suburb of Sydney? His phone #s and e-addy have gone dark. Back in 2001, we spent time together at Wellspring Retreat in Ohio (USA) a cult recovery and resource center www.wellspringretreat.org He was a former manager for the famous Sydney Opera House, and moved on to get his degrees in psychology/counseling to help others with more personal issues of cults, spritiual abuse, relationships, etc. The guy had thee most fabulous sense of humor too.

Was hoping for some down-under mates to help me reconnect again. Thanks for any clues or help.:)

I also cannot help, but the northern suburbs are the posh bit so he has probably landed on his feet. When I get back in five weeks I could maybe go in and search the electoral roll for you if you think that would help? There are also the Australian white pages of the phone book online. Best of luck in finding your friend!

Hey Purple:)

I forgot that you would be away now.

But while you are in the USA if you end up needing someone with whom to chat feel free to contact me.

I'm up a few hundred miles north of where you will be in the east coast and we could chat by phone if you'd like or if you end up needing a friend while you are here.

I hope the trip is everything you hope it will be and even better. :hug:

I just had the most wonderful day with Tory. I was saying to Sallydannce - I can't remember the last time I felt happy. But I was happy walking down the pavements of Los Angeles today. Even the Industry of Death museum couldn't kill my joie! Thanks for the kind offer and I will probably need to take you up on it. I wish I was just staying in LA most of the time now.

My youngest daughter gave me her care bears - Love-a-lot and Funshine. Love-a-lot went all the way to Winston-Salem with me to remind me of her and she had my bear, Tedda. Care bears will always be special to me! I'm glad you like them. I was saying to someone the other day that I think you understand me more than anyone else I know.

His Beacon Hill address appears to be his office address vs. residence from reading his card.

I was only in LA for two days, Red Valiant, but one of the hugs I gave her can be from you! It was the best fun!
