What Exactly is Golden Age of Tech II??

So I just got my latest issue of Source magazine in the mail, and although I've only just glanced through it, I did see a few mentions of Golden Age of Tech II throughout. What is this? Has there been any confirmation on it (if this has already been discussed, I'd be happy to read a prior thread)? Has it been officially released yet? Is this another money making scheme (well I think we know the answer to that without knowing what it is)?

Now listen, I've only heard a bit of the fantastic megatheta super dynamic stuff on this latest line up but suffice to say that it's very A-B and really, really terminatedly handles any and all arbitraries on the training side of the Bridge! TERMINATEDLY! Got that? COB really stepped up to the plate and smacked a home run on this one! HIP! HIP! Way to go RTC! This makes Ron's postulates absolutely gooey like super glue so you know with certainty those babies are gonna stick!

So far it seems like it cut all that photography stuff off the Student Hat so that when you graduate you won't feel like you just did a level 300 class in photography! Can you say theta, on this planet? Also, word has it that all that L&N stuff is off of the Pro Metering Course because, silly, you don't learn that until Level III or something crazy like that!

Now, beat it over to the nearest reg so you can retread those Levels and gain the certainty to cement your eternity for real!!!!

Hopefully by now, you've lurked enough to know what GAT and the re-release of the Basics was all about. Davey hasn't had anything knew since the old man had his bucket kicked, so he's been squirrelling. GAT was some re-pricing and forcing people to re-do services (at their cost, of course). I wasn't around for that, so I'm not so sure what all was squirreled with GAT, but I seem to recall hearing about some new-fangled overpriced e-meter. And then the re-release of the Basics involved the removal of some racist and homophobic rants from the old man's writings, and more regging people to re-do their lower bridge.

While none of us know what exactly was squirreled with GAT II, we can draw our own inferences based on history repeating itself. And we can hope that the third time is a charm for the people who stuck with the cult after the first two squirrelings.

There no such thing as anything new in Scientology but to fake out all the faithfulls they have to rehash same old crap but wrapped it differently. Ya know 5 versions of the TRs course, 6 versions of the metering course, redoing objectives for the 3rd time or having to go back and redo the grades after doing OT levels. And let's not forget rewriting the books. This is all brought to you by the Church who constantly rewrites history.

GAT II (Golden Age of Throw-up Phase II) is the latest in the Tech Degrades brought to you by COB RTC. Since RTC holds the trademarks, I guess he is of the opinion that he can change or alter anything he wants to anytime he wants to and call it "Ron's brand of Tech" and the robotic Scns all take it in hook-line-and-sinker. Except the ones who don't and instead of a shiny KSW award, they get brand new goldenrod with their name on it for questioning the "leader" of Scn. The irony being that KSW #1 explicity states that you are SUPPOSED to fight tooth and claw to aovid anything like what GAT II is presenting.

GAT II is supposed to remove ALL arbitraries from the Lower Bridge once and for all (or at least for another 25 years until the renewed copyrights go stale). As posted earlier (above), they are doing this by shortening up and removing all the arbitraries that Miscavige installed with GAT I in 1996 which made it impossible for anyone to easily become an auditor. There are all new glossaries and course packs for all the lower Bridge and SHSBC and maybe up to Class VIII. There is also a new E-meter which may or may not be part of this new line-up. While we know that all of these things exist - and have for some time - it's all speculation how much will actually be released this August or September (or October) when GAT II is supposed to come out. There are also new digital training aids which everyone is going ga-ga over which are supposed to remove any barriers to being able to spot instant reads (even though no one really had any trouble with this subject until Mikavivitch got on the Tech lines).

Because most existing Scientologists have only been around since 1996 or later, they have only known what Scientology is like with these arbitraries on their lines, and don't remember how simple and easy training used to be (even on the old reel-to-reels), they think that this is the "solution" for all that ails 'em and they will praise Miskavivitch for his "genius" in removing all the arbitraries he put there in the first place. And as an added bonus to all this, he has also cut down the processes on the Expanded Grades checklists so now you get half the result in 1/10th the time. Is it all wonderful?

These "new" releases also provide income for Flag.

I saw somewhere that staff from all the orgs were being sent to train, (again).

This is always a solution to income. All the Orgs are forced to send several staff and then billed for the training and berthing...(the longer the better..)

So when flag are not getting many public in - this is a good solution. These students have no choice. Their Orgs have no choice, and the money just has to be collected. Easy.

It is the regurgitated version of the Golden Age of Tech I which was a regurgitated version of LRH's tech. David Miscavige takes out things that may make one more aware about what Scientology really is and replaces it to suit his antagonism. It is squirreled tech from squirreled tech from the master of the con's - L Ron Hubbard.

It is a nice money making machine to keep the cult going!! The "WHY" is a constant changing item that overall makes the cult lots of money and gets the older people out so it cannot be detected. :coolwink:

Practically nobody did GAT I academy levels. In 10 years I think I saw maybe 4 people on them.

Davey still has not removed the Basics as a prerequisite training step, so McSquirrel isn't going to see much happening with his latest fail.

They are an example of some of the very stupidest people on the planet.

They can't learn from experience - because their crazy belief system over rides everything.
