Does the idea of needing a proctologist worry anyone else? I mean, no one normal starts out in medical school saying "I want to spend my career looking at assholes!". So the ones who set out in that specialty from the start are a little warped. And they are the good ones.
Because, you have to imagine at the end of training, the budding specialist who isn't any good at anything else, but who still doesn't want to be a GP, says, "well, there are still lots of proctology residencies open, they'll almost HAVE to take me". And then you run into the old medical school joke: "what do you call someone who got straight C minuses in Med School?". Answer: "Doctor".
So, Dave B., given that, which would you rather do? See a proctologist? Or listen to another LRH lecture series back-to back?
