In my opinion, he's probably not an OSA troll - but don't take my word for it. Just search this forum for posts by user "Vinaire" and form your own opinion about him.

What is his user id? How do you know it's Vinaire?

For those unaware of who Vinaire is, he is not and could not be OSA. He's a nice guy with viewpoints some here don't appreciate or agree with but he was a valuable long time member who I and others respected. You can read his ESMB posts here

Vinaire used to make a lot of posts here. They always seemed to claim some kind of lofty spiritual altitude, but I could never really identify any clear meaning to his posts. At least they never seemed dangerous in any way I could see. So maybe he was and is a really wise guy, whose wisdom was all above me. Or maybe he was just a harmless amateur guru, a would-be fisher of men who kept casting his line into the water, with no bait or hook.

He is a person that was preaching his "knowing how to know" cult interpretations ad nauseam complete with meaningless incomprehensible Elcon cult terminology explanations while derailing threads and admitting he was conducting psychological experiments upon the board members here. His Guru-tek wasn't received with applause probably having something to do with people having had enough of $cientology in the first place. Folks are funny that way after being in a cult and all.

The only thing I remember about Vinaire is back when I started posted here he used to try to get me to stop posting about OT III, so naturally I went out of my way to post about OT III. If you take the time to try to understand his posts is usually making a good point of some sort, even though it is almost all Hubbard-derived and can sometimes seem obtuse. As I recall, he went to MIT and is a nuclear engineer. I enjoy talking about points of philosophy with him, he is very very bright.

Let me clarify. I have seen his (Vinay) posts at the Underground Bunker and they are off topic. He has his own blog - http://vinaire.me/2014/02/27/scientology-and-the-ultimate-reality/ - which is a place where he can discuss what he wants to discuss. Even here at ESMB there is a place where he can discuss his viewpoints. He should respect that but he does not and just talks about and links to his blog all over the Underground Bunker comments area. I have a problem with that. It is trolling and very "OT."

Why you ask?

When I was first looking on the internet – looking for what Scientology was really all about – it was hard at first sorting through the crap. His comments are CRAP to people looking for the truth about the Co$ and its crimes, cruelties, history, etc.

I feel responsible to not let a bunch of bullshit present itself to lurkers, people looking for the truth of what Scientology REALLY is.

If someone wants to experiment in the “possibilities” of scientology or whatever – IT DOES NOT BELONG at the Underground Bunker! He may want to discuss such viewpoints here at the forum "Other Flavors of Scientology".

If anyone comments on such things, like Vinay, he should be respectful and keep it to his own blog.
