Being resourceful is the Slavic way. It's amazing what people live without. But it's not difficult if no one in your village has a shower, or that you had to pick nettles to make green borscht, you don't feel hard done by. You have the time to pick wild fruit and make jam.

But when the public walk into the Org smelling of shampoo and soap, there's ads on the streets for mobile phones, tampons, chocolate and even tramps drink alcohol then you get a bit pissed off.

We could only rarely afford second hand clothes in the SO. Flag was wonderful, there you could buy soap powder, soap, cigarettes, coffee and second hand clothes all in one week! Luxury!

VaD, I'm not sure they were bad translations, most of those FO's were really written badly in English.

Re: To Anons

Anons!

I wouldn't dare post my story on 4chan, or even WWP.

But I guess *The rules of the Internet* apply, and anyone can copy/paste my words and give them a spin they want (interpret, twist, make fun of...). - I can't do anything about that. What I posted is already in the Internet, isn't it?

Therefore, my disclaimer to Anons is this:
Yes, I was dumb. Yes, if, from the height of my experience now I could see what I did then, I would have acted differently. Yes, maybe, I'm still dumb sharing my story with the Internet. - You have a choice of how to interpret my messages... And I will tell what I feel I have to tell.

Hi VaD, I was dumb too. :duh:

Have you tried to explain someone things you have no clue about?
