A New Introduction - My Daughter

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to introduce my daughter, Aurora. Yes, certainly, she can speak for herself and she will, but, she and I discussed doing it this way and we have our reasons.

I wanted to introduce her because I think she is one of the most amazing people on the planet and frankly, she's not going to tell you that!

It has been intimated to Aurora that she might have to disconnect from me and her step dad but Aurora has decided to think for herself.

When I decided to really look and then make the decision to leave the church, Aurora still considered herself a Scientologist. She grew up in Scientology and took all the kids courses when she was young. Later, when old enough, she did her Purif and Objectives, did her VM course at Flag, did a course on the Freewinds and was on staff for awhile.

She has opted not to disconnect. I will let her tell her story. Please warmly welcome my beautiful (and very funny) daughter Aurora.

Whatever you do, don't introduce your daughter to the wolves on the FCDC thread.

Welcome Aurora,

Cheers for self think.

What little I saw of SCN was they tell you to think for yourself.
Then they supposedly give you the tech and tools to do so.
Then they tell you what to do and think and if you think otherwise
they tell you that you are supressive and you have to think better.

Wow! everybody, thank you! I'm overwhelmed!

As far as my sister goes... I've already told her and originally she agreed to just "play dumb" to what was going on but her mom is on OT VII or VIII? and she stopped talking to us a few months ago. My sister has just recently started getting auditing so that's probably why it's coming up again. Originally, her husband seemed in agreement with me and I know he's got some upset with the judgmental-ness and fake ethics of the st louis staff and public but... guess he doesn't want to make waves or something. Or he believes someone's going to fix it if he just waits long enough or writes enough letters.

and lol at all of the fifth element comments! Just to be clear, I wasn't just randomly expressing my love for a movie; I was commenting on Zorg's name and picture.

My FAVORITE movies are The Good The Bad and The Ugly, In Bruges and 28 Days Later. My favorite food is Thai and my favorite authors are Sarah Vowell and Bill Bryson. lol.

and, screw it, anyone with a little time on their hands could find out who I am so I'll just out myself... My full name is Aurora Suges.

Beware the boob thread Aurora, that's all I have to say. :dieslaughing:

stay clear of the Apollo thread too.

in regard to your sister getting auditing, FWIW, my daughter, now 31 , got some auditing in a Scientology mission a few years back from Jack Straw (on ESMB). Since she had been getting auditing all of her life, we told her some guidelines as to what not to say. She didn't say them, and the auditing she got in a Scientology mission setting went very well.

if your sister doesn't mention certain things, nothing bad should happen.

Well, one bad thing will happen: she'll be contributing to a group which actively destroys families, subverts justice, targets critics, and abuses it's staff. Other than that, though, nothing bad will happen.

Will there be joking and degrading too? I'm in!
By the way, the fifth element is one of my favorite movies.

Joking and degrading is a must! It's called having fun, poking fun and being silly: with silliness being the highest order of existence, according to the Tibetan Buddhists. I'm all for it when I'm not in my evil Zorg personality. Hubbard was such a sourpuss when others were having fun on their own!

...and yes, The Fifth Element was definitely a sleeper! I've watched it 5 times. My younger son, when he was 7 watched it and went into hysterical laughter for 5 minutes during the battle scene on the spaceship where Chris Tucker (Ruby Rhod) and Bruce Willis (Korben Dallas) were crawling under a pool table, using it as a rocket and gun shield from the nasty Mangalores. It was Chris Tucker's hysterical screaming tapering off to nothing that did it for my son. It was so cool to watch my son belly laugh like that during a movie; he had us all in stitches, laughing away at a silly movie! What a good feeling!
