Around 1978-80, I met a guy at Saint Hill UK who was from Boston. His name was Bruce. I can't remember his surname, but I'd love to know what happened to him. He came over to SH a couple of years running during the US summer - a good guy, and was very friendly with our family. He was of slim build, dark hair, quite longish in the fashion of the day, about mid to late 20s at that time. This would make him mid to late 50s now. He looked sort of Jewish to me, you know longish slim face, good Jewish-type nose. The last I heard from him, he had moved to Clearwater with a girlfriend, though hadn't joined staff as far as I know.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Bruce Silton, I think. I knew him from my Letter Reg days in the late 70s. Nice guy.

Warren Friske married my hubby and me. Warren was B1 in the GO and handled internal invest but also did some dumpster diving for the cult.

He blew and went to help Michael J. Flynn iirc.

Divorced Joan, became the ED of NY org (not sure if Day or Foundation. Richie is currently working for the DC org.

Paige Wolgamut,

Paige married John Perkins, had a son named Evan and they moved to Delphi Oregon. Data is 10 years old

Larry is living in South Africa with his wife Jessica and is one of the most indoc'd Scios ever made.

Larry's sister. She died in the 80's. I forget the cause.

Tom and Tim Ford,

Tom Ford was at Int for many years. I don't know if he's still there.

Tim lives in Clearwater with Cindy (formerly Dragonetti). Their oldest son - was recruited into the SO.

Chris Garrison,

Chris and Ellen divorced, Ellen moved to LA and Chris is a grouchy old man in Boston.

Paul Discher, last I heard he was still in the SO in LA

Mike St. Ormand,

Mike St. Armand, married the DG Finance Maureen Nagels. The had a daugther and all moved to Narconon in Oklahoma. Mike was the held the OSA post there and Maureen ran the finances.

Michelle Savello, Peter Cuccinatta,

Alex Siberski, I think he died but I'm not sure on that

Wow! That's three divorces that I was unaware of. Do you happen to know about the status of Janet Francis? Is she still IN?

Why aren't the Scio's applying all that wonderful 2-D Tech so that their marriages last at least one lifetime? :confused2:

They're applying the same tech Hubbard did!

Actually, no, that's mean. I'm sure most of them didn't marry wife number two before divorcing wife number one. Also divorces aren't fun or nice to joke about, but you'd think they would stop with the smug already since their plan clearly isn't any more effective than anyone elses.

You're right that the divorces aren't fun or nice to joke about. And that certainly isn't my intent. I know all three of those couples and feel bad for them. My target is the CoS which tries to promote this image of being family oriented and of course that is total bullshit. They will attempt to help out a family relationship IF it is in the interest in the CoS, but if the relationship is "inconvenient" for the "church" then they could care less. Any family relationships that are inconvenient for the CoS are potential targets for destruction. :grouch:

No I don't know what happened to Janet, I would guess she's still in. She was pretty hard core.

Thanks BWG for the CGarrison pics. And BWG, I must say I love your outfit. Fabulous. Well, I almost cried seeing how pitiful Chris looked handing out flyers in Harvard Square for CCHR. Is that what 40 years in cos will get you? YUK. I still think he's great, albeit extremely out of it.

I knew Discher joined the SO but thought he was out.

Funny coincidence about Manny. When I first met my wife she lived in Allston (neighborhood of Boston) and there was Manny living next door with his wife & family of 5 kids or so. I'd already been quietly disaffected from the church at that point. We said hello to each other but never had a discussion. I'd just assumed he was out but my curiosity never got the better of me to ask. Now I wish I had. I could tell he had his own business seeing the work trucks with his name on them outside his house. I always thought he was a really friendly person both in Scn and when I ran into him afterwards. My wife said he was a good neighbor and always friendly.

People change. I knew Manny as a great lover of the 3 Stooges. He made terrific money as a waiter at some classy Beantown eatery. He had a fabulously graphical obscene sense of humor. Very likable guy. Nice wife who wasn't really in but tolerated his interest.

Anybody know what happened to Gerry Mazzarella? He was a true John Bircher and a very interesting, fun-loving guy.

Angus McDuffie moved out to LA or Portland, somewhere west. Was declared at one point maybe mid-90s I think. Not sure of circumstances or current status.

Don and Vikki Dewsnap were on lines early 2000's anyway. Living in Watertown I think.

Bobby Lorree still operating his tree company. Saw him in my neighborhood a year ago. Married Renata, divorced. She had a kid, but I don't think it was his. A bit foggy on that.

Dave Scimemi! I loved Dave. He came back on line every few years, then disappeared. I think I saw him in some ideal or promo piece a couple years ago. So looks like he's up for another round.

Miriam Bright was at Gold I think last I knew.

Colbe and Gerry Mazzarella had a lot of issues with the Catholic Church and Scn. Eventually went with the former I think.

Richie Gambino was a NY org staff, married to Joanie Gambino (Programs chief CLO EUS) while I was at CLO EUS from 1988 - 1991. He was always rushing out the door in the morning to get to the NY Org.

In my time frame at CLO EUS, Jerry Indursky was ED NY org, his wife, Debbie Indursky was the C/S.

The Gambinos had a son named John Gambino about 5yo back in 1990. Also had a daughter named Jennifer who was 15 back in 1990, she joined the CMO EUS back then.

Is Joanie now in DC?
 
Fred Dumaine was in HCO Boston Fdn in the mid 80's. His family was really rich and had lots of anti-Scn and government connections. His status as a staff member and illegal pc was constantly in question. But eventually made it into the SO at CLO. Then got offloaded and had a massive freeloader debt. Was doing big time FSMing, using commissions to pay off his debt. Then that practice got called into question. i.e. should a freeloader get fsm commissions. Not sure what happened with that.

I remember him showing up at CLO and becoming a member, but can't remember what they posted him as, my memory of him has him in a tan colored trench coat and a bushy mustache with wavy brown hair.
