Welcome Techless! One of these days I should organize a Boston SP Party. I'm in CT about 100 miles from Boston.

Anyone interested?

Anyone remember Mike Frizella?

What happened to him? He was in the Tech Div back in 1976-77. I don't recall if Day or Fdn.

hello bahhstin!

i'm back here until nov 6

i want to see "the master" again and i'd love to find two or three others who would like to see it and discuss it over cofee after.

any takers?

Actually, I was never declared there or anywhere officially. I think...
I'd left staff before 2-year thing, so was a free-loader and then paid it back (relatively minimal $$) about 5 years later after getting back to Chicago and on-lines. Maybe it was friend/Phil S, who was in treasury dept when I was there and after, who 'minimized' my dept?? Hmm, just thought that...

It was really only after this major, desperate ethics cycle about 5 years back now, that I realized ethics tech was set-up to achieve what's being/been achieved (i.e total allegiance and no way to question...) or any recourse towards truth for that matter, that I silently said F-it and just stopped doing or paying much attention to. Also major divorce cycle occurring at same time (why have just one nightmare when you can really F it up with scn being involved?)

There'd be so much stuff I could say, about the staff experience, and how I perceived things - always to the end suspecting 'somethings weird here', but I really would feel like an idiot compared to those who've been so much farther in, and abused that much more. I suppose it's all relative though, and that the breach of trust/truth can suck for anyone equally as much as the next, whether financially and/or spiritually into and for whatever reason. That's the crap I'm still getting my mind around. And I'm a bit paranoid to just say everything, cause, well hey: how does one explain, what for all practical purposes should NEVER have been needed to be explained right?
Yet, here we are...A-duh...
Suppose I'll have to spill all eventually just as a matter of attempting to repair things. I'm just still at point of everything sickening me, mainly regarding other's experiences, that I simply do not wish to offend. And God knows it's probably pretty easy to inadvertently do so around these parts - last thing I want.
But geez, its sooo hard when it's all still going on out there (or in there- whatever)

But I do have good feeling about this whole place, and hope the best for everyone.
Currently, I'm in some kind of denial about how my dying, in-pain body has been making me feel like 85 years old lately, when it really shouldn't be doing that...
Crap: what could've caused that??
No need to answer that...

To Techless:

Always a pleasure. Looks like you've got happy memories of the experience--it wasnt' all bad. Did you get declared?

Well, it wasn't really like great or anything, it just wasn't as horrible as I've been seeing...yet it did clue me in to never be on staff again!

I'm pretty certain Phil S is at Int.
Yeah, I'd heard years back now that he was way,way uplines...poor guy

Pietrunti...I'm pretty certain he's public.
Yes, Nick I believe, he was one of those that made me seriously question everything...very quiet, hard to get a read on...never quite sure what he did there in Div 6!

Patti seems to know more about where different people are.
Yeah, definitely-we've been PMing and I am trying to remember her!

I'm very much interested, but whether I can go or not depends upon the timing and my financial circumstances at the time. (I'm still down here in Tampa for now)

Ok. Phil Frizella. Amazing somehow how a name immediately connects with a face in your memory. He was Tech Sec back around 1975 to 1978, right?

I was public and the whole day staff and evening staff thing wasn't something I differentiated.

These memories are almost 40 years old.

Boston Org circa 1975 to April 1978

Maryann Antonides
Don Currier
Elizabeth Currier
Tom Ford (or maybe another Ford) (who pulled me in from Copley Plaza)
Debbie French
Rick Furbush
Richie Gambino (and his wife) (I thought they always looked like twins.)
Ken Getler
Laura Getler
Julie ...
Alan Klebanoff (Course Supervisor)
Rhonda Lee
Vicki Lester
Angus MacDuffie
John Mageroski
Joe Nuccio (Qual Sec)
Patty Perrin
Debbie ...
Dave Scimemi
Ken Sereno (Case Supervisor)
Rick Siegal
Paige Wohlgamot(?) (Qual or Tech)
Gene Zimmer

This was just off the top of my head. I also recall several people from the GO there, but I can't pull up their names right now.

Steve ...
Greg ...

I interacted with all these people, some much more than others, so if any of you are here, say hi. Any previous debts are forgiven, so don't be shy.

Boston SP Party, how cool is that!

I'm totally in for that Pooks, as long as we don't have to throw an SP into the Boston harbor before we go to your place:)

All those you mentioned are no longer in Boston field. Haven't been for many years. Kleb I think was the last on that list - he was basic course supe on Day but left at least 10 years or so back.

Edit: John Mags was around past Klebs departure - as Senior C/S Day, but he's long gone too.

I saw John Mags working at New York Org in the summer of 2011. He's very much still involved to my knowledge.

People still on the bridge from the list below

Tom Ford. May still be in the Hole at Hemet
Tim Ford still on the bridge living in CW
Alan Klebanoff joined the SO not sure if he's still in.
Rick Seigal still in SO
and there are a few others that I'm not sure of.

Joe Nuccio

Great Find Type4.

I might have been there.

Recognize Joe Stover and Alan Klebs and that Qual woman, Rhonda, who married Peter Cuccinata and I think Peter Chrambanis, Jud Hines.

What's really strange is the lack of pics from that era.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice find T4. The guy on the left with the beard in between the people with the signs with something triangular hanging from his neck, was on staff when I was in the 90's. He worked in CF.

Believe it or not, The guy on the right I believe is Joe Stover. Some sad news about Joe, he died 2 weeks ago from emphysema. He was at work at the "T" when he died. He was 68. RIP Joe.
