Awesome dudes!
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

:hysterical: :bigcry: :dizzy:

Your correction list is just too close to the truth. Although they don’t use this actual list (yet!) this is pretty much what does happen in the orgs right now.Axiom142

Hey Ax, thx! I know it's been a while, but here is a reminder...

The standard sequence is:

1. Cry

2. Laugh

3. Attest

4. Donate

5. Repeat 1-4

You must have been quite a good auditor at one time, perhaps still are.

kudos

Nah, the only auditing I ever did was "solo". Oh, and co-audited objectives in the 70s. But, I had read ALL of the HCOB volumes in my spare time, early on in my Scn career, so I had read over every list ever created! And, having been on staff, both in Cl 4 orgs and in the Sea Org, and a public person at CL 4 orgs and at Flag, AND being horribly honest with myself all along about the various aspects of WHAT and HOW one can get PISSED OFF dealing with the Church machinery made all of this VERY REAL to me!!! :grouch: :grouch: :grouch:

I experienced most of the things mentioned in the list or saw them happen to others. :omg:

It seems to me that ANY Church member would have plenty of "charge" in MANY of these areas simply by the very nature and relentless continued behavior of the Church of Scientology.

Yeah, I know, talking to a person who has no experience with the C of S doesn't cut it. They just have NO idea!

I realize I fall into this category (and I'm sorry to butt in), but I can't help offering my thoughts on Gadfly's views regarding the issue of choice.

For all the reasons given prior to this post, it is obvious that many of you had little or no choice about entering into the Scientological trap.

However, each of you has exercised your wondrous power of choice in exiting the Scientological trap.

And that's awesome.

CHOICE is a celebration in and of itself.

Wow, I really like reading your articulate and personable account of your scio history.

I reposted your list to IVy, and a friend Dan Koon asked if I would let him repost it on his list. OOPS.

Can Dan post it on his web site?

The Gadfly Disclaimer: Anybody can take anything I post here and do whatever you like with it. Send in e-mails, upload to web pages, copy and paste to discussion boards, and even change it or assign it other-authorship (it will then have a much better chance of "persisting" if "altered" in some way - an inside joke based on Hubbardian theories of "alter-is", "misownership" and "persistence").

The IDEAS are what matter! Spread them far and wide, and may Scientology soon be a pale shadow of its already self-destructing self!

I am still offering anyone a copy of the essay, "The Three Basic Scientology Beliefs", and encourage it to be spread widely, as it does explain in a very unique way WHAT and HOW the Church of Scientology does what it does to the minds of participating Church members. See:

And, here is the completed Scientology Repair List:

CHOICE is a celebration in and of itself.

I got involved quickly in better times (1968) and got out when storm clouds appeared, at least for me (1976).

As far as I'm concerned, for the price - in terms of money and time - the results were amazing and fast, and weren't attainable anywhere else that I knew. They (the results) have lasted forty years.

If the whole ship hadn't gone to the dark side, I would probably still be a customer. But evil is evil, and the Co$ is certainly the epitome of evil.

You are a child of the Universe, no less than the moon and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the Universe is unfolding as it should.

Yesterday at my counselors, I finally figured out what Scn stole from me.

My ability to see the gray areas. Not just right or wrong, black or white but all that in between those two.

Well done!

What is "in between" the extremes makes up 99.999% of all life!

Extremes involve "ideas", and have little meaning outside of a mental framework. But the "grey areas" are everywhere you look around you. The "grey areas" involve the stuff of experience and life.

Great post, Kathy!

PTS/SP - so black & white. The concept of Scilo being the only ones capable of "saving" others, so black & white, so BS. So extremist, such fascist religious zealousness with no place for disagreement, argument or interpretation.

This is big Kat. It may be universal. We are all waiting for how you make it through this. It really does describe the Scientology Matrix. No grey. Wow. No wonder I thought I had all the answers. No wonder I feel so uninformed and helpless. I gotta learn to accept and enjoy the greyness.

Thanks again for taking us with you through your recovery. :smoochy:

.......pleasure, delight, joy etc at being pregnant. It's a silly little thing, but for some reason, it's one of the few things that "sticks", and it's a regret I sometimes have.

carmel.. this post breaks my heart. i went through the same thing, and its ugly and horrible, and definitely one of the things that i hate the most of my experience.
