Dave - too bad about Cruise

This thread reminds me of a picture I made and posted here back in September 2007.

It's only a matter of time...

Tom Cruise, regardless of his fame and fortune, is just like the rest of us.

Hopefully he doesn't "have to be right" too hard.

Quote from Jeff:
Just a comment - I seriously doubt that Cruise's current behavior is the result of an "ethics handling" from Scientology, as has been suggested. No one would "handle" him except Miscavige, and Miscavige would ONLY handle him in the direction of more high profile dissemination. No, this is a revolt against Miscavige - there is no doubt in my mind about that.

I tend to agree. This guy has had so much bad publicity, lost his main studio, victim of a stalker, I think he's reached the point of finding the why: His arrogant, know-it-all 'cause I'm a Scio, big mouth.

There was a rerun of Doprah's big interview with TC on Thursday. He was more low key there also and again referred to the website. when questioned about acting like such a douche to Matt Lauer he states two or three times that he was feeling pressed. Hmmmmmmmm???? Wonder by whom??? Also, I was quite surprised to hear him say that it is the parents responsibility to decide to medicate their child or not. Talk about a "reasonable" answer!!!

I wonder where DM got the idea that TC would launch the Mark VIIII on Doprah's show? It just goes to show how completly out of touch those two buffoons really are.

Jeff, I have one question........when are you launching a book!!! Following the Complex I have a feeling there is a market out there for it!!!

I agree he is very subdued, so much so that I find him unconvincing. His demeanor now is the polar opposite to his (fake ) euphoric, maniacal couch jumping escapades when he was promoting War of the Worlds....and we know how that ended up. don't we?

This ^^^^^^^^^

I can just imagine the two of them (TC and DM) drilling this new TC valence ... as part of a program to 'handle' the out PR in Scio ... I do not buy any of it though I sincerely hope I am wrong.

I am surmising only but I do think Miscavaige is rabid enough to ream anyone who gets in his way - cash cow or not. He probably thinks it's for TC's own good - twisted little twerp that he is. He had a very good teacher - good old Elron used to make people jump off ships to teach them a lesson. What's a little face ripping between friends?

Regarding TC's crime - I seem to remember reading long ago, that bringing $cn into disrepute or public ridicule was regarded as a suppressive act. There's enough meat in couch jumping to last a good few ethics trips. I do think TC has been reigned in, and I think, if he's ethics bait, a mere danger condition would be much too "reasonable".

On the other hand maybe TC is on his way out. I hope he is. BUT, they have got his pc folders. Who knows what they can do with those. Such a god awful trap to be in, and all of us who have had auditing are potentially in the same boat.

I don't DM has done any handling of Cruise. These incidents of couch jumping, et al came awhile ago. Why would DM wait so long. In fact, I think DM thought Tom was doing great. I think DM thought Tom's initial "don't be glib" Matt Lauer interview was great PR.

No, This is Cruise pulling back on the Scn thing on his own, or at least not because of anything DM said.

I'm absolutely sure DM LOVED the old Lauer interview. Probably watched it over and over with lotion and kleenex nearby. That was when he was being DM. Now he's being someone else. Maybe himself who knows?
