Curious if anyone has seen ghosts or witnessed paranormal activity.

My daughter asked me "What is that man doing, sitting in the chair?" Freaked me out! She was about 2 or 3 years old at that time.

Oh yes. I've been having interchanges with "dead folks" since a very early age. Many, many people experience this as it's a part of life.

I had, when I was in $cientology, these paranormal phenomanons.
Not funny stuff though.

I had to moove from 2 places.
( it was real as my roomate experienced the exact same phenomenas same time - it woke up us - but I could figure out what it was and handle it)

When I left $cientology, it all stopped.

I think I became like an antenna , as too much involved with space opera, aliens, and past lives..
The Hubtard stuff...

The day I left was my first day back to present time, here and now!

I bow in respect to your ability to do what I can not.

I've had a few interactions with disembodied people. One had been murdered in a parking garage and she wanted me to discover her former body and report it to the police.

I'll share that episode tomorrow.

After learning about Thetans and stuff, I was no longer scared, but after I left, it scares the crap out of me!

I haven't experienced anything like that at all.. I have only heard scientologists tell tales about it! - And, since they are the authorities on the human mind, explain what spiritual shortcomings was the cause that I didn't experience anything after which they suggested that I buy various unrelated and expensive Scientology services.

From what I read the spirit guides that follow us all around can be far more readily perceived by very young children, who after all only recently left that realm themselves. The children usually soon "grow out of" the ability to see and communicate with these ever-present entities. Why? Well, have you (the reader) as an adult ever told a young child that they are imagining things and there is no-one there?

I don't know if that is the only reason. Maybe they just stop talking about it. :)

EDIT: Calvin and Hobbes is worth looking at again in this light.

I do have a vivid imagination though.. And I do like ghost stories:
Last night I woke with a jolt! - My hair stood on end all over my body. I had no idea why i suddenly woke... maybe something I heard.. Maybe someone was in the house! - I raised myself on the elbows.

What I saw shook me to core!

There was a big fat bloke in the bedroom mooning me with his pants down!!!

"Shit!", I yelled, "Get outta here!"

"Look!", the guy shouted and pointed to his bare ass with his finger. I'd seen that more than I cared to already. There was a collection of small angry reddish marks on his buttock.

I freaked! - "Just get the hell out! - I'm not into that kind of stuff! - I'm so square the corners will hurt you, so just ferget it! - Out!!!"

"They murdered me!!", screamed the guy and turned to look imploringly at me.

I was to be even more startled! - It was L. Ron Hubbard!!!!

This guy died in 1986! I was at a loss for words, but not of goosebumps!

Hubtoad leaned over me and screamed in my face, "They pumped me full of vistaril!! - They murdered me!! - The little runt! - Kilt me with a psych drug!!!"

"Yeah, I know!", I stammered. "Figures.."

"They stole my religion and my money! - They've used it all up!! - They alter-is and drive the church into the abyss!!"

"So what! - Your religion is a fraud!", I said belligerently.

"It works!!", argued Hubtoad haughtily.

"Oh! - Does it? - How?"

"Earned me heaps of money!", snapped Hubtoad. "You judge that by statistics, and income is THE vital statistic! - You ought to know! - You're trained!!"

I made a derisíve farting sound, "You're full of shit! - How about using your own fake Purification Rundown and get those psych drugs out?"

"Think it'll work?", asked Hubtoad incredulous.

"Yeah! - Only thing wrong with it was duration! - You have to be in the sauna for millions of years. Won't work otherwise!"

Hubtoad stared at me, "True? - Your'e not trying to pull my leg or anything?"

"Nope! - Cross my heart and hope to die!"

With that Hubtoad disappeared and I lay down to sleep again. Satisfied that he was in a sauna somewhere and out of the way for a good long time!

All of OT 3 - 7 deals with ghosts. Hubbard called them body thetans. They are disembodied spirits and when grouped together by some force or through misidentification they are called clusters.

For many years I audited ghosts (body thetans). I really believed in it at the time but these days I wonder if I was just mocking it up. I decided some years ago that I was just creating these invisible entities myself and quit doing it. As a result, my space became much quieter.

There are a significant number of people who have testified as to seeing ghosts and who believe that ghosts exist and I would not wish to make less of them just because I don't see what they see. Perhaps ghosts do exist but they do not play a significant role in my life.

Nothing to do with scio, but, yes I do communicate with people who have departed the physical plane & are currently part of the - for lack of a better word - ' universal consciousness '.

Don't see it as any 'special' ability but more of the willingness to listen and drop away from accumulated judgments about life.

I sincerely believe anyone can communicate - and learn - from those who have gone before us.

And, yes, a rare time or two I'd had a person 'appear' to me and let me observe them gentely attempt to communicate with a loved one still here just not listening.

That next level of existence looks pretty neat.....we'll all get there !

Added : And of all the BT's & clusters done on the ot levels I never encountered even one I'd felt I'd knew at any time. Anybody else ? Anybody 'see" a BT or cluster they felt had been someone from on their 'track" ?

One of thing old hubs managed to do was cleverly mix in his fantasy with some pieces of truth & spin it with his way with words & sell it.

He was one deadly old bastard.

After 26 years in scn and many hours of auditing (mostly sec checks, but some bridge stuff up to grade 1), I never saw a ghost, spoke to a ghost or recalled even the slightest glimmer of a past life. Yet I still firmly believe in reincarnation. I have occasionally felt that "standing hair on the back of neck" feeling which can be attributed to a ghost watching you, or maybe I just sometimes get scared. Who knows? I guess it just depends on how you choose to define the phenomenon when something "other worldly" happens.:confused2:

I once saw this dog barking and growling at nothing, as if a real person was there, teasing him. This made me feel that he could see ghosts! That creped me out!

I like to think my Telepathic Sex thread http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthread.php?31175-Telepathic-Sex is the ultimate woo-woo ghost story. In brief summary:

(1) My XBF, for whatever reason, started dreaming of a "dream girl" on a regular basis.

(2) He didn't realize that was ME and that his thoughts were acting as a telepathic message transmission that were actually reaching ME across the ocean.

(3) When it happened, I felt ecstatic, like he was right there in the room with me, showing me his affection.

(4) It was like being high on a drug, the only problem being withdrawal, each time it stopped. I became his emotional slave, enjoying the highs and suffering through the lows.

(5) I felt compelled to locate him and write him a letter to which he never replied. Apparently, he was content to dream about his dream girl, while wanting nothing to do with the real me.

(6) Once when it happened I sent him the telepathic message "call me" about 70 times. I think at this point he realized what was going on, that his "dream girl" actually existed and that he was actually in contact with her (meaning ME).

(7) After that happened, I never got a telepathic communication from him again. Since then the suffering that this whole episode had unleashed was gone. I still miss him, but the feeling of intense heartbreak I had was gone.

I don't blame anyone who doesn't believe me. I hardly believe me myself.

I once saw this dogmatist[SUP]1[/SUP] barking and growling at nothing, as if a real person was there, suppressing him. This made me feel that he could see BTs! That creeped me out!

[SUP]1[/SUP] dogmatist -noun. 1. An arrogantly assertive person. 2. one who commands others with dogma (-a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true). 3. Mankind's 100% standardly infallible savior, L. Ron Hubbard.

My daughter asked me "What is that man doing, sitting in the chair?" Freaked me out! She was about 2 or 3 years old at that time.

after my mom died, I was looking through the stuff she had saved and found report cards and pictures Id drawn going back to nursery school... I noticed a note, I was called Naldi back then... the note said:

"Naldi has an invisible playmate that plays with him"

I don't recall this...

Kids most often have their natural uninhibited world view crushed as they get older, and I became convinced eventually that the only things that were real are those that can be scientifically measured...sort of takes the magic out of a glorious sunrise, when you once felt that you could feel the plants awakening...

That view started to change after certain implausible events occurred BEFORE I entered the scn war in 93 so I can't think it was osa) that changed my mind in a good way.. perhaps a childlike way..

Anyhow, here's a story that happened to me:

In 2004 I drove to Savanna for Christmas from DC to see my son. I was sleeping on a big lazy-boy chair... I was awakened several times, hearing someone talking in a high pitched squeeky voice to their old white dog sleeping in front of the Christmas tree. "Oh you cute little thing, you are such a sweetie..come here let me hug you, etc etc etc)" each time I woke there was no one there, just me and the dog sleeping in front of the tree, in front of me, in the living room by the fireplace on Christmas eve.. Exhausted from the long drive (600 miles on I95), I went back to sleep, only to semi-awaken 2 or three more times and open one bloodshot eye to try see who was talking to that damn dog...I was so exhausted that decided I was not going to deal with this now, so i consciously chose to rationalize what woke me, so rather than be further concerned I just decided that the dog must have a little chew toy that made squeaky sounds...

Around 7 AM the kids woke me up playing with their toys...I made a cuppah coffee and looked around, there was no 'chew toy' to be found. I told my son's mum about it and asked her if the dog had a chew toy that squuked and she said no he doesn't, and her eyes got kindah big and she said, YOU NEED TO TELL THIS TO CHRIS (her current husband) ... So Chris stumbled out after a while, and I told Chris and his eyes got real big too and he looked me dead in the eye and said, "That is how my brother used to talk to that dog, he would do that any time he visited." -pause-, Then he said "My brother committed suicide 2 weeks ago, those, pointing to a vase on the mantle over the fireplace 6 feet to the right of the lazy boy chair, are his ashes."

Oh my god. If they don't explain this afterwards to these people, I would call this sort of prank extremely unethical. :screwy: If they enlighten them... well, fine. :p Sorry, I like all sorts of dirty humor, but I just never was much of a fan of these "candid camera" pranks... That was some sort of annoying hype some twenty years ago I'd say, I guess it was the big thing before all this insane "big brother" crap came up. What bothers me with this type of show, is, you never know whether they will tell the witnesses, or won't. Sometimes it is obviously that they don't, like with some really disturbing things the "Jackass" crew & Pam Margera did - on the open streets. The long term effects on some witnesses might be awful. For example, they ran around in hazmat suits carrying a leaking container, or let people overhear an "old man" (Knoxville, I think) and a little girl exchanging perverse stuff, or they staged attempts of kidnapping, - while people were watching from near and afar. -- Well, sorry for the rant, but some things... :confused2:
