Example of lying in general

Here is an example of how people will say "It never happened," to cover something up. This is not in Scientology, just in life. The proof was on a video tape and showed that the ones who said, "Never Happened," were the ones who helped cause it. Thought it might be interesting to ESMBers.

(5/14/10) "KENNEWICK, WA — Three adults were arrested Thursday after a YouTube video showed them encouraging two teen girls into a brawl in Zintel Canyon.

Kennewick police were called to the canyon about 5 p.m. Wednesday because a fight was reported.

"By the time officers arrived, there was no fight, but there was clearly still a confrontation going on," said Detective Chris Littrell.

"The officers saw two groups arguing but no fighting. They interviewed several people, including adults who told the officers there had been no fight. The officers took down names but since there were no injuries, they then left the scene," he said.

But the next day, a concerned parent called Kennewick police to report that the fight in Zintel Canyon was on YouTube.

"The video gave a good (identifiable) angle of the location in Zintel Canyon, and those adults who claimed there hadn't been a fight were seen encouraging the fight between the teenagers," Littrell said. "The video shows a definite rioting situation."
