This is what happens when a bunch of kids hear a popular instrument and want to play it, only to find there are no jobs. Srsly, they are very good but putting amps on the tailpieces and shaking the crap out of the instruments probably made them (the instruments) want to hide in their cases for a century or more. With that amplification I am surprised there are not crack problems. And I truly must be an old old fart, because their oh so pretty hair did nothing for me (even though I once had the long stuff.)
I am off to play Beethoven, Schubert and who knows what else, without amplification. Be back in a week and a half.

You would know if you took it back then. Supposedly the purest form available of any hallucinogen: Mescaline, LSD, others. I believe it came from the idea that certain researchers and governments were using these drugs for "research" and so they prepared pure forms of the drugs, which could be stolen and dropped on the flower power market of the times.
As it turns out, the U.S. government (C.I.A.) was indeed experimenting with LSD, using it on psychiatric patients in an attempt to "wash" the patient's mind and prepare them for "new" programming. This was done to over a dozen patients here in Canada at a hospital in Montreal, PQ. Whether or not the Canadian government was aware of the U.S. government's meddling and unethical human experiments is unknown but it is true, it really happened. There has been a documentary on it and lawsuits filed against the doctors involved and the C.I.A./U.S. government. Oddly enough, this is one case where hubbard's rantings and paranoia turned out to be legitimate. This is what could happen to any of us when we drop our guard and not monitor our "professionals" and governments. :confused2:
