I didn't go to Woodstock because I didn't have a ticket. That's how my luck was as a hippie. I was an anti-war activist, hiding people to keep them from going to Vietnam. And I was at some of the big DC protests.
Earlier, in 1964, I got to see the Beatles. Later I saw The Stones (of course), Janis Joplin, Hendrixs, Cream, Jethro Tull, Zepplin, and even Blind Faith. They were the good old days.
Once while on staff, a bunch of us went up to Baltimore to see the Moody Blues. Was anybody here with me on that trip?

I went on that Baltmer trip wit ya.

Might have posted it on another thread, but one day I had breakfast with Don Brewer, tea with King Crimson and dinner with Janis Joplin. This is absolutely true!! :yes:

I'll believe it. I don't know what's sadder.

Thanks to my current enlightened status, I'll just say:

Lady supermarket with an apple in her basket
Knocks in the managers door;
Grooning to the muzak from a speaker in shoe rack
Lays out her goods on the floor;
Everything shes chosen is conveniently frozen.
Eat it and come back for more!

Lady window shopper with a new one in the hopper
Whips up a chemical brew;
Croaking to a neighbour while she polishes a sabre
Knows how to flavour a stew.
Never need to worry with a tin of hurri curri:
Poisoned especially for you!

No use to complain
If youre caught out in the rain;
Your mothers quite insane.
Cat food cat food cat food again.

Lady yellow stamper with a fillet in a hamper
Dying to finish the course;
Goodies for the table with a fable on the label
Drowning in miracle sauce.
Dont think I am that rude if I tell you that its cat food,
Not even fit for a horse!

No use to complain, if you're caught out in the rain.
Your mother's quite insane.
Cat food cat food cat food again.

Ah, you noticed the silent T, but then you would, wouldn't you?

I sort of recall lovely Rebecca Sweigert on that jaunt. Do you recall?

I remember the ride back. There were six of us crunched in the back of a little car like a rambler. Unfortunately Rebecca wasn't in the back with us. I think she was in the front, probably with you.

Sweet Rebecca

One time long ago-there was a beautiful woman named Rebecca an auditor by trade and a fair haired damsel who made the men swoon in lust upon seeing her lovely form. And then there was this very rich guy who paid the expenses for a team to visit him at his county palace. So I, the reg, and Rebecca the auditor went off to visit him and introduce him to the joys of and auditing session. The reg was housed in a quaint little cottage while Rebecca stayed in the main mansion. On the way home to "fcdc" she said with a sigh how she had hoped to stay with me the night before in that big ole bed in that little ole cottage, but fate intervened and that night was not to be. So-no thanks to TAJ for restiming me by bringing up her name and reminding me of a "lost opportunity" to enjoy her charms. Waaaaaah!

Well you guys were hornier than I. When I looked at Rebecca I saw a near angel like Dante's Beatrice. She guided me through some rough times when I was a young staff member and was one of those people who helped build my character. She will always be a guardian angel to me.

Well that goes without saying. You hadn't really reached puberty at the time had you? :omg:

Just about. Luckily though, I had already been a hippie. I was a POW during the sexual revolution. The first time I had sex I was scarred and nervous--after all, I was all alone. Before I was on staff, I dated a girl who worked in the carnival. She had the entire map of the United States tatooed on her body. One night we went back to her place and....Wait for it....By the time I got to Phoenix she was sleeping.

TAJ-regarding your comment that Nozeno and I "were hornier than you" -I feel compelled to respond. I checked with my mind and my mind said "no comment", then I checked with my theatan who said "I don't give a fuck" then I lastly checked my?????? who said"I'm like a boy scout and I'm always prepared". What can I say-life is full of challenges and opportunities and its' best to be ready!

Then he checked his crotch and his crotch responded...."not so much".
