Flagdown 2014: media coverage, etc

No one from the Clearwater Chanology Cell that was started in February of 2008 has anything to do with the Flag Down 2014 conference or the May 10, 2014 Megaraid. None of the Clearwater Chanology Cell members will be in attendance at any of the events for the Flag Down 2014 conference nor will they be in attendance at the May 10, 2014 megaraid.

Anyone claiming to make sure that the "cell lives on" needs to know that the cell remains intact in the hearts and souls of the brave people who took to the streets of downtown Clearwater to face Flag with pure hearts and lulz on February 10, 2008 and that are now literally scattered to the four corners of the earth. It lives no where else. Feeble attempts to pass yourself off as the Clearwater Chanology Cell will be considered a cancer and a lie. Lulz and mockery of your feeble attempts will be delicious. Enjoy your fail.

This chick is NUTS! She really does need professional treatment, she lives in a delusional world!

Agreed, Roger. I love the way she makes it sound like she and the 'cell' are the ONLY brave
people who remain "intact in the hearts and soul of the brave people who took to the streets of downtown Clearwater to
face Flag...." REALLY? REALLY AmeX? So ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
of the brave souls who DID take on Flag and many other areas AROUND THE WORLD...LONNNNNNG
Before you even thought about $cientology.... you just discount? :eyeroll:  :faceslap: :screwy: :stir: :wtf:

This *IS* serious delusion, and sad. I hope she gets help.

And to the many who faced things (and continue to do so) that this women has no clue of....I thank you from the top
and bottom of my heart. :bighug:

My vote is we keep getting together but in various different
places so it's easier for different peeps to go PLUS there is NOT the :bs: "Injunction" to rattle some folks cages.

London? LA? Chicago? Germany? ____(You add it)? Australia!! Hey....Ireland Take 2!! :)

That sounds fine.

Or what we can have an event in multiple places simultaneously.

We can have the event in London, LA, Chicago, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Clearwater, New Zealand, and elsewhere.

With the technology available now we could do that.

The different time zones could be an issue, but other than that there would be no issues that would prevent us from doing this.

I've been thinking about this very thing the past few days. Nothing came of it. Mushy mind ya know. :)

Seriously, with a bit of planning tek and an internet connection that stably works (zero ref to my buggy wireless connection!) anything is possible. :)

Type4 . . . . you are being bloody brilliant again!

If we really got our skates on, we could include some luscious locales like from France where the cult has been hit with FRAUD shit . . .

Like a wizz-bang WORLD WIDE CRUSADE to expose the crimes of the kult!

Ummmmm, and on that theme, I have just been reading this, linked from the Bunker . .
http://www.scribd.com/doc/222808669/501-c-3-Status-Illegality-and-Public-Policy-Considerations

It deals with causes for the revocation of tax exempt status, and these are the rules and regs and considerations as published by the IRS . . .

Note this delicious little aspect. One among many to hit the nasties with.
Pay particular attention to my highlight in red . . .

8. Church Illegality Issues The principles involved in these cases do not differ from the general principles applicable to all 501(c)(3) cases discussed above. In Church ofScientology of California v. Commissioner, supra, the court rejected the organization's claim that Bob Jones did not apply to churches. The court in Scientology of California stated that the Bob Jones court limited its application to churches only on the issue of whether the particular fundamental interest in eradicating racial discrimination was applicable to them.

The organization in Scientology of California was involved in a conspiracy to commit tax fraud. In addition to Scientology of California, another case dealingwith illegal acts committed by an organization purporting to be a church was Synanon Church v. U.S., 579 F. Supp. 967 (D.C.D.C. 1984). That organization was tied to a number of beatings and acts of physical violence, including putting a rattlesnake in the mailbox of two dissenting members' attorney.

9. Illegality Issues Involving Non- 501(c)(3) Organizations
A. Basis for Application of the Doctrine
Because these organizations' exempt status is not based on the common law concept of charitability, the prohibition against illegal activity must arise out of some basis other than charitable trust law. The purpose of the particular exemption at issue and the nature of the illegal act must be considered in determining whether substantial illegal activity will lead to revocation.

501(c)(4) organizations promote social welfare, the illegality doctrine's application may not be very different from the case of Because 501(c)(3)organizations' illegal activity. In Rev. Rul. 75-384, supra, an anti-war organization that could not qualify under 501(c)(3) due to illegal activity at protests also could not qualify under 501(c)(4) because the illegal activities were "contrary to the common good and the general welfare of the people." The basis for the application of the illegality doctrine to organizations not seeking exempt status under either 501(c)(3) or (4) must rest on some ground related to the purpose of the particular exemption provision at issue. Applications of the illegality doctrine to social clubs, veterans' organizations and business leagues are discussed below

Of course, should be added to the crime of beatings are exercises such as illegal imprisonment, extortion, and such.

Reading the above linked document is recommended.

Though I think the notion of an exercise dedicated to the killing of the kult's 501(c) status should have its own dedicated thread where facts and ideas can be exchanged.

Nothing new under the sun. This already happened - without the Co$, the internet, iPhones or "anonymous" - 27 years ago on June 6, 1987:

VATICAN CITY (AP) _ Pope John Paul II will lead congregations on five continents in worldwide televised prayers June 6, the eve of the opening of the Roman Catholic Church's Marian Year honoring the Virgin Mary.

Plans call for the pope, speaking in Rome's St. Mary Major Basilica, to be linked by satellites to congregations in 16 cities. In addition, the hour-long program will be beamed to stations around the world.

''This will enable the world to pray together for peace,'' Archbishop John P. Foley, the American who heads Vatican media operations, said Thursday.

The program is being produced by Global Media Ltd., which handled the Live- Aid and Sport-Aid fund-raising telecasts.

.....
And it happened.... smoothless.... without any sound problems.... 16 locations around the globe praying together.... even when there was a final delay of approx 2 seconds (2 times to geostationary satellites and back).

Excellent comments & responses on WWP today..

What can be learned from this debacle?

First off is an event organizer who doesn't have petty juvenile grudges against Ex's and Activists laced with an ego agenda and a fear of cult faggotry.

Secondly, an understanding OSA will try to subvert an event with smear tactics and false dox turning ppl against each other.

Thirdly, a venue worthy of the excellent people invited with a presentation and media able to present a professional format.

Taking peoples money then turning around telling a select few who donated they aren't welcome to the event is bait and switch bullshit. Not understanding the injunction has nothing to do with speaking at an event miles away from cult property is bullshit. Setting a rent a cop on WBM is bullshit. Turning ppl against prominent critics with slander and lies to save face is bullshit. Ppl all in a tizzy over who is welcome to an anti-cult event advertised open to the public need to figure out what it means to stay on target.

In spite of mistakes made the event is going on, the cult can't do a damn thing about it and it's a wonderful opportunity to speak out against the cult. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to those that are there.

For those that aren't familiar with OSA and are turning against critics who've been speaking out for years, you just got a lesson in what an OSA op can do. All it takes is one ego-bloated idiot to get the ball rolling. It's all bullshit. Nom De Plume.

Darth Xander: amaX hasn't raided in about a year and a half. I don't know if that qualifies as long, but let's just say she hasn't been particularly active on the raiding side of things as of late. I'm really the only one who's raided Flag in that time, with assist as of late from fathertony.

(As for anons protesting tomorrow & the injunction)..

Darth Xander: Doesn't mean anything. Move along. Still waiting to be served, btw.

(As for the Clearwater cell that Laura Flynn claims is intact)..

Darth Xander: There is no cell. There are people concerned about the existence and activities of Scientology in Clearwater. I express that concern publicly on the streets of downtown Clearwater when I come down here every four or five months with fathertony.

Anyone and everyone is free to express similar concerns whenever they want, in association with whoever they want.

Many thanks to fathertony, a longtime protester in Clearwater, for putting these up on YouTube. More to come. :)

Sallydance......they aren't all there.....go look yourself.

No there have been some technical issues and as I understand it they are going to edit and put all the vids up at a later date. As far as I can tell the vids that were successfully recorded during live broadcasts are the only ones showing on that link.

Someone else may know more.

John Sweeney is hilarious!!!

And this from Mark:

Update: Darth reporting that the process server is at the hotel. Was asked to leave by the police. He has left the building, but still on property.
We do not know who was his target. Supposedly has a pic of me in his portfolio. Bring it.

Agreed! Nicely handled, Darth.

"Next time"? Is *anyone* honestly considering going to Clearwater, FL AGAIN?

WHY?

My vote is we keep getting together but in various different
places so it's easier for different peeps to go PLUS there is NOT the :bs: "Injunction" to rattle some folks cages.

London? LA? Chicago? Germany? ____(You add it)? Australia!! Hey....Ireland Take 2!! :)

Just s/t to consider...and I know "You can do your own": Got that :)

Thanks to ALL who helped create this fantastic meeting, spoke, listened, chatted on-line and passed on links!

:heartflower: And to any and ALL Moms: Happy Mother's Day week-end :)

Tory/Magoo

How about calling them "Ideal Organizations of......................"

It takes courage to speak out against the very bullying cult of scientology. You live in the knowledge that, in some way, you can potentially become a target of their thoroughly vile tactics.

Flagdown 2014 has inspired and helped heal. It has brought laughter and tears.

So to all that have stood up, spoken out or supported in some way, THANK YOU!!!
