What's new

Thanks for the point in the right direction.

Not a troll(indeed, I hate trolls), and not a nutter(too young to be one, lol). Just someone who's doing their research to make a book showing "the other side of the story" on a key tenet of Scientology space opera. Would gladly toss you a copy of what I've been working on.

Ok, sure.

I should probably rename the title of this thread...

Anyways, still wondering if maybe someone could help me out in regards to paralleling the book with Hubbard's teachings as to legit it. Anyone out there?

EDIT: And... I surprisingly can't edit my first post... Meh. :|

Thanks for the welcome, lol... I have a feeling this'll be a very interesting place to be at.

As for posts containing highly questionable facts, might as well respond to that with "I am Xaarin, son of Xenu, and captain of the Marcabian Battleship Decimator! Fear me, Loyal Officers!" or something like that. :p

Welcome.

You know, a writer would never end a sentence with a preposition, such as "to be AT".

You mean you're writing a book about you after you went through OT III? Or you are basing a book on L Ron Hubbard's stories?

The first is fine, but the second I wouldn't recommend. The church is very litigious.

But they claim that Hubbard never wrote of Xenu so how could they sue? I'd like to see that.

The book in question details(from the Xenu loyalists' side) what happened after Incident II and Loyal Officer takeover of the Galactic Confederacy from just after the takeover to the protagonist's assassination(and subsequent reincarnation) on Earth.

coooooooooool...

Non-fiction? Hell's bells mon, the truth writes itself!

Shit based on Hubbard's tripe, parody, satire, insane ramblings, well certainly a wealth of entertainment no doubt!

:carryon:

:welcome: and good luck with yer project, please feel free to bless the story junkies among us with a preview of your work!

Glad you're still hanging out a bit :)

Well... Being on a forum filled with Scientology critics and ex-Scientologists certainly makes my day.

As for an update... The two protagonists and their fleet have just gotten raped by the Loyal Officer Juggernaut Freespace(read: Freewinds in space), commanded by none other then Rawl himself, Elron Elray. Destroying a single Loyal Officer ship carrying Mish, the two are tractor beamed and brought about the Freespace, Xaarin passing out after his attempt to activate his fighter's self-destruct accidentally kills the power.

Once on board, he runs into two Loyal Officers who are around his table: the friendly Captain Astar(Bill Robertson) and the cold, calculating Damis(David Miscaivage). Taken before the court(with Elron as judiciator, and Moxon and Kobrin as the prosecution, he and Xena must formulate a case by themselves(they have no defense attorney or lawyer of their own), one that will prevent them from receiving Xenu's punishment.

In other words, Chapter 6 is done and I'm working on Chapter 7. :p

So, it's a work of science fiction, yah?

Which explains why I often see (on tv) journalists making the most atrocious grammatical errata. This is why god created editors... just sayin'. :whistling:
