Seattle's an interesting scene, OSA wise. It is a relatively small org. Not much happens there, they are barely treading water as far as people on course. Very little auditing is delivered. The long time faithful- particularly those with money- are routinely and constantly milked. The org has done everything but stable those individuals with locking collars around their necks.

The Seattle Org DSA is Ann (Ruble) Pearce. She was instrumental in helping OSA Int monitor the comings and goings of Bob Minton over to Vashon Island when he used to come out here, when he was first getting involved in criticism of the cult. She is extremely aggressive and ruthless. As some of you may remember from the thread about my videoing the Seattle Idle Org Grand Opening last July, she was on all sorts of local panels and so on and deals with local politicians on an ongoing basis. There were several at the Idle Org Grand Opening.

She is probably the one who talked the City of Seattle into blocking all the streets for a several block radius so that no one could walk down certain streets in front of the Org or even adjacent to it that day. PUBLIC STREETS, people. I told a friend about it and he was aghast that the cult had that much say.

Her husband is Steve Pearce, head of the local CCHR.

She is also the one who tried to handle me when I was on the internet (on alt.religion.scientology only at the time) and not post to it anymore even though, as a cult member (as I was, then) I was posting pro CofS, pro Scn stuff that should not have been objectionable to any koolaid drinker. In a way, it is through her efforts that I am no longer with this disgusting organization.

I'm sure that this website is causing her to experience pressure from OSA Int to get it "handled".

I find her amazing and appalling. There is NO WAY that she doesn't know about the dirty tricks the cult pulls and the illegal actions it commits and the lives it has ruined. I used to wonder about how someone couldn't see the wood for the trees. I got a handle on it from speaking to some exes and, as far as I can tell, it comes down to a genuine belief that they are doing the right thing for the whole planet. When you've got repeated lives (catch you next time around), eternity, as well as the "greatest good" dynamic to play with, I imagine there's plenty of mental room cleared for the cognitive dissonance. Also, again from various conversations, I understand that those selected to do the dirty work are thoroughly checked out, groomed prior to appointment, very carefully monitored, and derive considerable status within the cult for their actions. Would I like to see this woman up before a wog-world judge? For sure. But its her controllers that really need to go to jail.

I took this shot while being barred from access to the Seattle Idle Morgue grand opening. In fact, now that I think of it, we had the staff so wound up I think it helped in letting others in. We were distracting several people for a loooong time...
