Kelly Preston and John Travolta got lots of support after the loss of Jett. Unfortunately, that support does not come free...there is always a hook. The obligatory dissem policy - "Her case will impinge on her as long as she is IN Scientology and the only thing that will attempt at keying her out is to volunteer and disemminate Scientology". LRH Poor thing - what a fool she is making of herself!

Anyone with half a brain cell will look up Scientology on the internet and no one will come in no matter what celeb promotes it!

Specifically, 24/7 attendance by not one, but several COS handlers for two years, and the way JT puts it that was just for HIM, not Shelly.

This turns my gut in so many ways. Going by comments to articles on it, it is at least having the positive affect of footbulleting their public image even further.

edit: Actually I think JT has sunk lower than Kirstie Alley now. She might not have brains but at least she has balls. That JT thing is so repugnant I wonder what else is behind it that could have made him go along with it. ....and I thought I was a degraded being!

The flyer says this event is to be held on Tuesday, March 11 @ 7:30 PM.
"Reserve Seats" section (beneath the flyer) says this event is to be held on Wednesday, March 12 @ 3:30 AM.

Calendar tek fail.
Clock tek fail.

JB

true dat.

But do you realize the phrase "Reserve Seats" is to imply that there is demand to see this event and one should reserve your seat before it's too late and you'll miss the event.

Phrases like this are throughout scientology promo, no different really than what you see advertised on TV or other print media for products like "While Supplies Last" or "One Time Offer" and a thousand other catch phrases to get a person to buy now.

It appears that Michael Wisner is a scum sucking pig.

From http://nomoreliesscn.blogspot.ca/2013_03_01_archive.html

The body of Gregory B. Wisner, age 27, was found in the surf near Indian Rocks Beach, Florida on January 20, 2001. - Gregorys life was a tragedy. He was DISCONNECTED by his father and the rest of his family when he was only 9 years old and he never recovered from this abandonment. His father was R. Michael Wisner, a prominent Scientologist and chief spokesperson for NARCONON. He often appeared on TV touting the benefits of NARCONON.

Gregory Wisner had started to use cocaine in his teens to cope with his problems and, when he was 27, his parents contacted him and coerced him into joining the controversial NARCONON drug rehabilitation program.

NARCONON did not help Gregory in the least and, as a result, his family abandoned him once again. Gregory confided in a friend, I have no one to turn to and that really sucks. I have never been so stripped of my identity. I'm in the middle of nowhere and with no one to turn to. Shortly afterwards, Gregorys body was found washed up on a beach near Clearwater in Florida. postmortem findings found that he had drowned and detected Cocaine (0.70 mg/L) in his blood and urine. His father did not bother to attend the funeral.

I was unable to track down "Dr Wisner's" credentials. He is not always referred to as doctor, it depends on who is doing the writing. Apparently he is oat tea eight, his daughter is apparently the youngest oat tea seven.

From Publishers Weekly
"We now use more than 50,000 chemicals in daily living," state the authors in the introduction to this ill-prepared call to arms. Steinman (Diet for a Poisoned Planet) and Wisner, described as a detoxification expert, proceed to discuss ways to reduce dependency on potentially harmful chemicals, but they fail to distinguish between those that are beneficial and those that are damaging. The good tips here, such as the "Grandma's Pantry" concoctions that can substitute for commercial cleaners, are diminished by a wiseacre tone and alarmist statements: the authors equate gassing one's home for termites with "letting Saddam Hussein loose in the kid's playroom with a 55-gallon chemical drum." Chapters relate the dangers present around the home and in the workplace. Suggested alternatives are listed in sections called "Simple Things to Do," e.g., "Get yourself and your kids on a healthy diet" and "Make sure your child's school is tested for lead." The authors adopt points of view associated with Scientology and list L. Ron Hubbard's Bridge Publications as the first resource for drug detoxification. While there are some sound, specific tips here for less-toxic living, the authors' tone and consistent hammering at government and industry deception devalue this effort.

Foreword by Kirstie Alley. He shills for Narconon too.

That thing on his head looks like a Donald Trump hand-me-down.
“The simple things described in Living Healthy in a Toxic World we use in our home every day. This book will improve your health and protect your entire family – and do it easily, and with a sense of humor.”
John Travolta and Kelly Preston

It appears that Michael Wisner is a scum sucking pig....

I knew Michael Wisner. He was a rude, arrogant, self-congratulatory jerk even in the 80s and he always had that constipated look on his face, too. Sad about his son. Poor kid never had a chance with a father like that. :bigcry:Another Scientology-related tragedy.

Her showbiz career?! Name 3 things she's done in the past 20 years. That's what I thought.

I'm watching your ears like a hawk.

And name ONE tertiary qualification not handed out by a cult, that 'Michael Weisner, Toxicologist' has earned.

I could have sworn I already researched this fucker, but the search function is coming up with bupkis. AFAIR, his only experience is working as a Congressional staffer during the passage of the Clean Air Act.

I'll keep digging.

[Edit] - Ah, I did dig into this clown's background. But not on ESMB, it was over on SCHR.

Wisner was a Philosophy / English major at Villanova according to his website. As undergraduate degrees, those two are pretty useless – they require graduate study to become relevant to the real world. He immediately went to work as a congressional staffer for the guy who co- wrote the superfund legislation – from whence he derives his advanced knowledge of toxicology. Also according to the website, he went back to study “Advanced Chemistry” at Villanova before this gig with SCN.

I actually hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry from a major US research university, and I can’t tell you WTF “advanced chemistry” is as a field of study. Once you get your B.Sc., you go on to study a specific branch of Chemistry (e.g. Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Synthetic Chemistry, etc.) in graduate school – that is what “advanced” means in Chemistry. In order to do that, you need to have studied Chemistry, or a closely related discipline (e.g. Geology with a Chem Minor might do for Inorganic Chemistry) as an undergrad – advanced navel gazing in a Philo course won’t cut it for the pre-reqs. Now, there is such a thing as *Advanced Placement Chemistry, but that is an American *High School* program akin to the A Levels in Britain. And I’ m not sure this clown could even handle that.

Wisner is just using the LIE and "MAKE YOURSELF GRANDIOSE BIOGRAPHY LRH TECH"!

Wisner makes himself out to be something when really he is only a self-hypnotized Cult Follower! Scientology will allow him to fabricate his credentials as long as he uses the lies to disseminate Scientology. When he gets booted out - they will post on his SP Declare - Mr. Wisner lied about his credentials promoting himself as a Toxicology Expert.:whistling:

Lately, I have noticed that Scientologist's (young Staffer's) will make a Blog and give themselves credentials like...Mike Blank, the Writer - Steve Evans, The Artist - they are all copying L Ron Hubbard in his "make yourself grandiose" LIE Biography Tech!! LOL

Note that he is dancing around the legally protected term "toxicologist" by calling himself a "toxicology expert".

You know, if Hubbard's vaunted study tech really worked, then the one damn thing it should be able to do is run up a big MU on verbal tap dancing like that and cause its practitioners to look up the actual term and call bullshit on this artist in bovine excrement. But it doesn't. Not in this case, or any other.

Context and grammar are totally ignored and content is reduced to word-by-word definitions rather than including word associations and connotations.
