This may be the right thread to introduce to ESMB one of the best teacher of Love. :bighug:

"I love to think that the day you're born, you're given the world as your birthday present.
It frightens me to think that so few people even bother to open up the ribbon!
Rip it open! Tear off the top!
It's just full of love and magic and joy and wonder and pain and tears.
All of the things that are your gift for being human."

LOVE BY L. RON HUBBARD

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N58hJLe-rUo

(Omits paragraph where its author gloats about the assassination of John F. Kennedy; originally published, and publicized, concurrent with the behind-the-scenes establishing of the Fair-Game-Law-["trick, sue, lie to, destroy"]-applying Guardian's Office.)

Feel yourself being inspired. Feel your defenses breaking down. Feel yourself being "handled."

It still "works."

Scientology can be very slick when it wants to be:

Can you feel it "working"?

Thanks for sharing.

Love, what a concept. It's wasn't very often that I heard that word when I was inside...in fact, the word used to make me cringe! Now isn't that something.

THANKS!

It's a very good motion to bring that thing up (bump it).

That's what I like about ESMB! - Members act as THEY want to (not as they are told to)

Love rules the people's world

Love rules

Love is "the substance" we were made with.

And "love" was the thing Hubbard had been running on us (without feeling of love on his own part).

Hubbard just made it look that he loved. He never did.

Now his words about people and human relationships piss me off. Big time!

Thank you for the videos.

Sadly, I didn't get to tell Leo I was at SC before he died.

I had forgotten all about our meeting in '69' and conversation about Love by the time I arrived.

I Love you so much Mom.

:heartflower::heartflower::heartflower:

You have to understand that your "mom" had so many different identities, and remained so well obscured as to who he/she really was, that there is no way to trust whether what you say here is true.

I am sure your "mom" had other places where actual friends knew her in real life. They could probably help you grieve better than we could.

Jeez, why was this thread revived?

Alex has been playing the same games on the Net for years, and what's remarkable is that he always seems to find a new audience who have little or no idea what he's doing, and are unaware of his vicious attack posts (not here where he adopted a slightly different persona, since this is a moderated forum) on such good people as Tory Magoo.

Now that he's been banned forever, it would seem that that would a "clue" of sort.

Is Alex' "button pushing" really that effective? Are his poetry generator poems that effective?

C'mon guys. (Again) Jeez. :duh:

Right but it's still an honest answer to your question, "Jeez, why has this thread been revived?"

That was a rhetorical question that I answered in the same post as the question. Perhaps I didn't make that clear.

In any event, that's enough time spent on Alex.

Oh, I think we should discuss it further!

If, in fact, Alex has died and is being mourned by family then I send my genuine condolences.

I had several spirited exchanges with Alex and appreciated them.
I would like to know more about the person who posted here as "Alex".

If we can learn more about the person behind the Alex persona, perhaps we'll come to better understand that person and what motivated some of the exchanges we've witnessed here on ESMB.

Hasn't too much time been wasted on that already?
