My decision to get out

Dear All,
thank you everybody. I am not willing at this stage to provide details that would easily identify me, since I do not want to ruin my chances of getting a few people out (including YOU, well-groomed OSA troll reading this) AND disrupt the lives of innocent people living in a scn-free environment. Even if the COS is not the WORST possible we-are-the-only-hope-for-mankind group, it is enough bad to recommend anybody not willing (or able) to examine and judge carefully ALL sides of the story (and maybe make sure that there is an emergency exit even in the most shining ballroom) to keep one's distance.
I am aware this is not necessarily the best possible agenda, so please bear with me while I unfold the matter.

Welcome to ESMB and congratulations on successfully following up on your decision to TAKE BACK your life! The actions you took were quite impressive.

My Own Boss
My decision to get out was taken while I was in the RPF. While co-auditing, as an auditor, I suddenly realized that I was in a trap, and that there was no way out. I kept this resolution wholly for myself.
I graduated in a few weeks from the RPF.
While back on post I had to find a way to get some money for a travel ticket; my parents would have probably sent me, but I decided that I had to do it by myself, so I started moonlighting for a non-scn company, which meant that from 8.00 a.m. to 11:00 pm hours I was in the SO, then from 12:00 to 5:00 a.m. i worked in my extra job. It went on a couple of weeks, then I collapsed and was forced to break my contract with the company (I do not remember exactly, but perhaps it was a one-month job). My frame of mind at that time was that they were going to BILL ME but they acted differently (THANKS!) and sent me a check for my partial accomplishment.
I cashed it the following day.
The night after I stuffed my briefcase, exited quietly staff berthing, met a SO member on the way, did not greet him, and never returned.
Afterwards, I was a non-practicing scientologist for more than 20 years; until I found the ESMB, now I am an EX-Scientologist.

Welcome and well done on being determined to get out. Best way to go is to quietly slip away. That's what I did as a public. Your non-scn job was good to pay you for the two weeks you were able to work out of your one month contract. A Scn company would never have done that.

Best thing you didn't rely on your parents sending you money because you would never have received it because the SO monitors mail. Although your parents could have booked a ticket for you electronically I suppose.
