I am hoping Pooks can shed more light here if I am wrong or off base here. jp

I don't know what you expected coming to the forum but I can tell you that it would be worth your while to read up past discussions here and on the other forums regarding Tom's interactions with others and as a critic of Scientology because there is a history and it is contentious. You need to be armed with information if you want to dodge the flying bullets being thrown at you.

I am glad Tom spoke up to the media recently. I also love The Bridge. I am glad the kids are out of Scientology and Tom is doing better. In searching, I noticed that the critic community became fractured and split around 1999 or so due to highly charged topics of Bob Minton, LMT, The Profit film failures, Factnet, etc. Sides were taken. Discourse started to move away from scientology to nasty bickering. I perceived that this situation has cooled off and moved on. I was not aware that an "enemy" status still exists. I will take your advisement to heart and proceed with more caution and be more guarded.
